This is it *sniffling* the last book set in Ryder high
In this book we are all invited to a New Years Party along with McKinnon and the rest of the girls and guys to see who is behind the scenes running the Secret Admirer tradition, all our questions will be answered in this finale
I have to say I did read the series a while back so some details were lost on me, it would've been nice if we got kind of a rehash on all the books at the beginning, but all and all I really enjoyed the book, it gave me a magical feel and it was such a happy book and series, I will miss Ryder High so so much .. thanks so much for having me :D

Have you read all 10 books in The Love Notes series? If not, I strongly encourage you to read all 10 books BEFORE reading Secret Admirers. This book will spoil the fun behind the Love Notes. I enjoyed finding out who was behind the scenes and how the club was started. This series is entertaining and highly refreshing, yet it will tug at your heart-strings.

the perfect ending

This was the absolute perfect way to wrap up the series! You not only learned about the behind the scenes action from characters we met along the way but you got a glimpse into every relationship. Sad to see this series come to an end but it’s definitely one I am so glad I took a chance on.

Danielle sure did manage to drop a bomb on us with this one! How she managed to keep it a secret is beyond me, but it was seriously the best surprise.

This wraps up the series in a neat little package.

A very quick read and I think it will make fans of the series very happy.

Find out what goes on behind the scenes of a real envelope .

I was so right in my guess of who mya second admirer was. To find out who has been behind it all this time was a total surprise. All the planning & ideas each month were all so carefully planned.

Ahhhh yesss!!!! This is exactly what I was hoping for from this series!!! How the secret admirer teal envelopes program works!! A ton of my questions were answered and I loved hearing all the details. I of course wish it was longer but I loved this one! A great way to end the series.

Love Notes series: To enjoy this series you just have to accept the premise that there is a secret society which organizes this secret admirer game and that most of the teenage boys want to participate and that most of the girls wish to receive a letter. Especially for the boys I find that hard to believe, but like I said - just accept it and move on.
You also have to accept that there are a lot of boys with a crush on a girl and they just wait for their turn to be the secret admirer instead of making a move on their own. Considering they can only participate in their junior and senior year and the game sometimes pauses for summer break, there are at maximum 24 months and A LOT more boys who want the spot. So that’s another really unrealistic part, but the books just don’t make sense if you don’t accept this.
I was quite annoyed with this - in some books more than others - but I tried to forget that it’s kind of a stupid concept to pine silently away for your crush, to wait up to two years for your turn and never do something on your own.
If you can look past that, the series is kinda cute. Some books are very enjoyable, others I really really didn’t like. But for all of them - I repeat myself - you HAVE to accept the premise.

***

Wow was I happy that this series came to an end - (edit: and now there’s a 2nd season? Not gonna read that…) - and it still took me nearly 3 days to read 60 pages…
Don’t get me wrong, there were some really cute books. I would probably recommend 5 of the 11 books and maybe even reread 1 or 2. But I seriously hated 2 of the books and the last 4 (including this one) were pretty lame.

It was nice seeing all the characters again and there actually was one open question answered. The rest was already obvious or just not interesting enough.

So it was nice that the series got an ending but nothing more and I was so annoyed with the last books that I started this one with a more or less negative feeling…

Oh this was such a lovely, perfect finale! I loved seeing the background of the teal envelope games, how it was created, how it works. (I guessed one character being involved :P) So much thought was put into it, and everything fit together so well. I loved reading how all the couples interact, each one is so unique and has their own dynamic and personality. If I had to choose one favourite, I'd say the Marley pairing! And seeing how they reacted to things that went on during the series was so fun. I had such a good time reading it!

Fun wrap up to the Love Notes series! Explains a lot of the mysteries behind the game, and it’s cool to discover the people behind the Neutral Party! I’d say probably only read this if you’ve finished the Love Notes series, because it would spoil a LOT and not really make sense without having read the series. Sweet, fun companion to the series! If you loved the Love Notes series then you’ll definitely appreciate the unveiling on the Neutral Party and a few of the secrets still hidden in the original series!

When all the past years girls and their guys got a new teal envelope, they were all very confused, but these were actually ones from the mutual party and they each got a ticked for a masquerade party. So, each couple picked out their costumes and met at the location at the said time but once they secret was revealed of why they were really there the bond between them grew even stronger. the teal envelope is a game at Ryder High that happens each year making people happy and it all started with the heart of never wanting to let love get away and a teal envelope.

This was a nice ending to the series.

I liked finding out who was behind the secret admirers club and some of the students he got to help who had appeared in previous books

My only issue with it was it was all from McKinnons POV and I would have liked a chapter from all of them. Especially the guys as we didn’t get much from them

Overall it was nice series and easy to read
