Rendered homeless by a devastating tragedy, Noah, Cassie, Ethan, and the rest of the ragtag band of survivors are on the move, searching for a new home.
The struggles they've faced since the virus decimated the world have left them exhausted in mind, body, and soul. Can they survive the dangers on their journey to find a safe haven before strife tears their group apart?
M.P. McDonald makes a living from taking your breath away... then giving it back via a tube or two. She lives in a frozen land full of ice, snow, and abominable snowmen. On the days that she's not taking her car ice-skating, she sits huddled over a chilly computer, tapping out the story of a camera that can see the future. She hopes it can see summer approaching, too.
It ends way too abruptly - there is so much potential gone. It could have been at least two or three books more. The characters are likeable, the adventures okay but the end - it ruined the overall enjoyable story.
Survive At The End Of The World is the 3rd book in the 'Sympatico Syndrome' trilogy, and, like the previous two books, the story is ultimately far more hopeful than your average apocalyptic survival story. The book picks up in the immediate aftermath of the devastating fire at the farmhouse, leaving the entire group once again homeless. The road is hard, with a couple of surprises along the way that I won't ruin for you. The book is far more character focused than the average book in the genre. 4/5 stars, recommended for anyone interested more in survival and relationships than constant conflict!
I don't think I had read any of your work before. I'm not sure, Inoticed read soI much. This was the last book of the Sympatico trilogies. I'm wondering what to read next as I enjoyed these very much. I noticed that Tyler is it me tioned in the epilogue and wonder what happened with him. Now I have to choose what to read next. Again.....
I read the 3 books back to back, totally enjoyed them. Characters were interesting, story was well put together, will definitely be looking at other books from the author.
This series is fantastic, it is continual reading with no padding whatsoever. I wish the series carried on because I am not ready for it to end. Well worth reading.
I thoroughly enjoyed all of the books in this series. I'm so sad its over. The storyline was believable and the characters so likeable. The story flowed so smoothly and there was enough suspense to keep me reading late into the night.
