Sweet, contemporary romance series following Ivy, an innkeeper and her husband, Bennett, the mayor of Summer Beach. Unfortunately, I missed the books in between since I read Seabreeze Inn, but I picked up right where I left off. I found it fairly easy to follow, the author did a great job of bringing little tidbits of the previous books out with enough explanation to get you thru without being totally lost.

Story focuses on Ivy and Bennett, married one year and busy with their jobs. Fearing they are losing touch with each other, they finally make plans for a romantic honeymoon to Mallorca, Spain. As luck and the airlines would have it, things don’t go exactly as planned and fate takes over.

Quick read with a likable cast of characters. Story focuses on family, learning when to hold on and when to let go and is filled with love. The unexpected meeting throughout are a bit much, but that’s fate. Ivy needs to learn that she is part of a team, she doesn’t need to do everything herself. These are great books to pick up when you need a feel good, fast read after something heavy.

I received an ARC of this book. This is my honest opinion.

*Her mother’s words floated to mind. Life really was the way you looked at it*

Ivy Bay and her husband of over a year Bennet have, finally, started their honeymoon. A series of uncomfortable events land them in San Francisco overnight, and they choose to go looking for Amelia Erickson's other home, now privately owned where they friend Margaret and her aunt Viola. Invito stay there, they learn and observe more of Amelia's "treasures" and then off to Mallorca! It's amazing how they keep running into Amelia.

Meanwhile, back at Seabreeze Inn some monied hack has made it clear he wants to basically buy up Sumner Beach to turn it into a hot spot for students on break. He figures enough money will bypass the rules. He's already locked horns with Bennet and now his minions are after Ivy's Inn. And, of course, they are on honeymoon....

Join us as we visit Summer Beach for the 9th time ( hopefully not the last) where mystery and history connect with contemporary life. I am an early discoverer of Jan Moran and all her books are top rated, however, something about this series makes me glad I found her when I did. Highly Recommended 5/5

Ivy and Bennett are now married but are still struggling to find time for their honeymoon. The inn is busy, their families need them and there is a developer trying to turn their small town into a haven for the younger crowd by building nightclubs and resorts. One day Ivy decides they should not wait any longer and books them a Mediterranean getaway. Soon they are departing on their long-awaited trip, but things do not quite go according to plan. When they get delayed in San Francisco, they get a pleasant surprise from another Amelia enthusiast, and that is just the beginning. Other “coincidences” keep occurring throughout their trip and Ivy is almost convinced Amelia had something to do with their whole trip. Back home, Shelly and Poppy are busy keeping the inn running and are surprised when a man shows up and tells them Ivy is selling him the inn. When Ivy and ___ return, they are faced with questions and it is time to make a decision on their future. Will Ivy end up selling the inn to focus on her art? What will happen to Shelley and Poppy if the inn sells?

Things are sure heating up in Summer Beach with this ninth book in the series. Author Jan Moran brings us another fabulous novel full of mystery, family and life choices. I loved visiting with all the characters in the series and it was fun to meet some new and interesting characters as well. I always think I know where the story is heading, and then am surprised at the twists and turns the story takes. Ms. Moran is a master at surprising her readers!!! My sincere thanks to Jan Moran for an advanced copy of the novel, which I voluntarily read and reviewed. This is one of my all-time favourite series and I promise you, you will fall in love with the folks in this small beach town as much as I have.

This contemporary sweet romance is page-turning with exceptional world-building and characters that are realistic and intriguing. Their journey is enthralling as Ivy and Bennett finally get their long-awaited honeymoon. They are both in their second marriage and have had to endure some hardships and drama along their journeys until they find each other. They weren't looking for love, but fate had other plans and helped each of them to mend their broken hearts. Ivy and Bennett's flight gets rerouted to a glittery city by the sea they seize the opportunity to explore historical connections to Ivy's Seabreeze Inn.

However, their discovery could have far-reaching effects. Their setting is set on sunny California shores with magnificent sunrises and sunsets that are vibrantly colored and picturesque. This is a beach read with a family saga, mystery, suspense, historical elements, love, second chances, Seabreeze honeymoon, friendships, drama, adventure, heartfelt emotions, and more. I recommend reading this book by an extraordinary author who knows how to captivate her readers' hearts and attention with a Seabreeze honeymoon and a clean, sweet romance that will have readers swooning and begging for this excellent series not to end.

On book 9 of the Summer Beach series Ivy and Bennett have been married for one year already and because of their busy lives haven't been able to go on their honeymoon, but a comment made by Carlota to Ivy reminds her that life is meant to be enjoyed.
Of course it wouldn't be a Summer Beach story if unexpected circumstances didn't happen and if the lives of the Bay sisters is not, in a subtle way, be guided by the spirit of Amelia.
When Ivy and Bennett don't make it to their flight in San Francisco they get to go to Amelia's former house in that city and actually stay there where they learn knew things about this extraordinary woman, you will have to read the book to know what I'm talking about.
Finally they do get to the Island of Mallorca to enjoy a wonderful honeymoon, while at home all sorts of worrisome things are happening.
By this point I feel that the characters in this series are my friends and I'm being part of their adventures and misfortunes.
I can't wait to continue the story with the next book in the series Seabreeze Gala.

What a lovely story! I enjoyed "our" honeymoon to Mallorca. It sounds like a beautiful place and now it is on my "want to see" list. There were a couple of times I wanted to slap Ivy for her hesitation and her nearly willingness to run to the rescue of a family member, which would have cut the trip short.

I loved the drama but see the characters developing through each progressive novel. They are always a fast read for me; all in one night!

The four stars was a deduction of one for Ivy's secrecy and stubbornness, not wanting to "ruin the trip" with pretty important information. She's married now, so let's share all of the things!.

I have loved following Ivy, Bennett, (Amelia!), and the whole crew through this journey! I feel like I just had a mini-trip to San Fransico and Mallorca - was hanging on with each page to make sure they got to their destination and to finally see what Ivy decided! The descriptions of the art, the food and the scenery was truly delightful - the resolution was extremely satisfactory and I can't wait to see what happens next! Keep them coming, please!

Once again this author has provided an entertaining story while showing a realistic view of a variety of human relationships. As Ivy and Bennett take their long awaited honeymoon, we see them dealing with personal and professional challenges. We see their individual approaches to problems and what they give a priority to in how the resolve the problems. Amelia and Gustav’s stories are woven into the story in a believable manner. I thoroughly enjoyed this book an look forward to Seabreeze Gala, the next book in this series.

What a honeymoon

Seabreeze Honeymoon is the ninth book in the Summer Beach and continues the story of Ivy and Bennett, along with the other characters that swirl in and around their orbit and the Seabreeze Inn. If you have read and enjoyed the previous books in this series then you will want to pick up Seabreeze Honeymoon and get swept along on an adventure with unexpected discoveries and potential more changes. I really love this series as it is light, fun, sweet, a bit smexy, filled with emotion, some adventure, family, mishaps, and a lot more all woven masterfully into an intelligent, easy, and delicious read.

A warm and fuzzy read during a hectic work week is exactly what the doctor ordered! It reminded me of our Anniversary Resort vacations. Ivy and Bennett's busy lives have left them no time for a honeymoon! Every time they started planning something, Fate intervened. But carving out time for themselves and their marriage finally pushed them into booking a vacation Honeymoon and it appears that Amelia Erickson's spirit has some surprises for them.

Just as the title suggests for Seabreeze Honeymoon, Ivy and Bennet finally get away for their longed of dream honeymoon. But what the honeymoon brings is quite different than Ivy expected. Disappointments bring surprises and upheaval brings some decisions. Author Jan Moran has kept my interest in each one of her books in this series. Jan, here’s hoping you never runout of ideas for more books!I received an early copy from the author and this is my opinion.

Another great book from the amazing author Jan Moran, a MUST READ BOOK!!

Jan Moran is back with her 9th blockbuster book in the Summer Beach series. This book continues on with Ivey, owner of the Seabreeze Inn and her husband
Bennett who are coming up on their 1st. Anniversary, and they hadn't found a time to get away on their Honeymoon. Between Bennett's mayortorial duties and Ivey working to many hours working in and on anything that went wrong at the Inn. They both felt like they were ships passing in the night. Ivey after a heart to heart with her Mom realized the Inn would still stand until they got back from a week away.
As luck would have it Ivey had a short break to go see her friend Teresa a local travel agent. Teresa was able to get them an amazing accomodations to the Mediterranean country of Mallorca. After wrapping up some very important problems, Ivey got a surprising phone call, that could change the course of their lives and those working at the Seabreeze Inn. She knew that phone call would give her much to think about while on their journey. Ivey and Bennett flew out a week later, first stop a short lay over in San Francisco. They had some problems getting to all their flights but they looked at it as a blessing because they had much more exciting things happen. So as not to give anything away. Their layover in San Francisco brought other delightful surprises.
You have to read about their time in the beautiful country of Mallorca. Jan Moran had to have visited Mallorca, since her descriptions of the priceless artwork, the exciting ride through the tunnels in the mountains, of the intricate beauty of the country side and the clear touquise water of the Mediterranean. You knew from her descriptions what an other world feeling it would be to visit such a gorgeous country and that was evident from all the new things that Ivey& Bennett saw and did while on their honeymoon unfortunately all good things come to an end.
...Ivey & Bennett were excited to get back to their beautiful beach home.. Unfortunately they encountered a shocking discovery soon after getting out to greet their family and the surprises kept coming. You need to read this fantastic book to find out the shocking ending in Seabreeze Inn.
Don't miss it,!!!

This is the ninth book in the Seabreeze Inn series (I’ve read all nine), and continues the story of the Bay family and the love story of Ivy and Bennett, as they finally go on their long-delayed honeymoon. However, since this is a Jan Moran book, you can be sure there will be so much more than just a honeymoon trip in store for these two. As with the other books in the series, Ms. Moran does a wonderful job of weaving in other storylines. Among them are the continuing mystery and fascination with Amelia Erickson, who, along with her husband, Gustav, owned the home now known as the Seabreeze Inn. I’ve come to look forward to reading more about Amelia’s life—with each installment, another puzzle piece is revealed (and oh, there’s a very fun twist), and in this installment we also get a peek into the Ericksons primary residence in San Francisco! Ms. Moran’s description of Mallorca, their honeymoon destination, is wonderfully vivid. I could smell the sea air, picture the beautiful foliage, and really wanted some tapas and sangria! Note: for anyone who hasn’t read any of the books in this series, Ms. Moran does an excellent job, in only a few words, of catching us up on the other characters, as well as the circumstances that brought Ivy and Bennett together. If I had one criticism, it’s that Ivy’s ongoing hesitancy to share important news with Bennett became annoying—they’re husband and wife, and life decisions need to be shared! Also, some of the dialogue gets repeated throughout this book. It almost seemed like filler to me. However, I loved the ending (and the bonus scene) and can’t wait to “attend” the Gala in Book Ten. I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

The family reunion at the Seabreeze Inn has finally come to an end. Carlotta and Sterling head back to Australia to resume their sailing adventure. Words that Carlotta and Sterling shared with Ivy and Bennet finally motivate them to put business aside for a week and head off on their long delayed honeymoon. Things don’t go quite as planned, but they make some important new friends and discoveries as their travels progress. Is Amelia Erickson behind all the interruptions and the people with whom Ivy and Bennet cross paths? Can Ivy figure out a way to keep the inn in good repair, or will she need to sell it? Can Bennet, as mayor of Summer Beach, figure out how to keep the town from turning into a new party site for college kids? Can Sunny deal with a major problem at school without her mother there to step in and help?

So much happens in this book, in a short period. Most of the beloved characters from past books in the series make an appearance and assist with all that’s going on. New characters appear and are likely to become a part of Ivy’s ever-growing family of friends. It all adds up to a wonderful adventure and a wonderful read.

This is a lovely, feel-good addition to the Summer Beach series. This is book nine in the series, and it may be my favorite of all of them. Author Jan Moran finds new challenges and rewards for the residents of Summer Beach. Not everything is tied up at the end, but the promise that it will be is included. It's a quick and rewarding read, and I look forward to seeing this series continue.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book from the author. I thank her for her generosity, but it had no effect on this review. All opinions in this review reflect my true and honest reactions to reading this book.

This is book nine in The Summer Beach series and it continues Ivy’s story. Ivy and Bennett have been married for a year and still haven’t managed to get away on a break or honeymoon after having problems after problems so Ivy decides to take matters into her own hands and books them a honeymoon only for this to start a chain reaction, friendships will be formed in a way that neither are expecting because after missing there connection on there flight to meeting new and interesting experiences and people that will make there honeymoon special in so many different ways and also especially as Ivy and Bennett come together and connect as more than a couple which was just what Ivy and Bennett needed so badly because life was taking over leaving them little time for each other so this honeymoon was just what the doctor ordered and also what they needed. I absolutely loved this book and I felt like I was there on this trip with them and living through all there experiences along with the discovery and descriptions of everywhere that they went and the connections that they made along with all the new friends that made this book absolutely amazing along with all the history that we learned. I read this book in one sitting because it truly was a addictive read that I couldn’t put down. This book and series is definitely worth reading as you feel like you are there experiencing the walk through of a era that is really captivating and informative and I can’t wait to read more books in this amazing series.

I am always thrilled when Jan Moran releases a new book. This one was a real treat as it was released on my birthday. I took a day to just relax and get lost in her entertaining, family-oriented book. The Summer beach community feels like home to me. Jan’s series are always a story of family, friendship, and love.

I was a little concerned when I read the first chapter. I thought perhaps the was going to be the final book in the series. After all, it is the ninth book. By the end of the book, I was thrilled that it seems the series will continue. “Seabreeze Honeymoon” is just as fresh as the first book in the series and held a lot of surprises. I love the new characters and look forward to their future appearance in the series.

Ivy and Bennett have been married for a year but have yet to go on a honeymoon. For both of them, work keeps getting in the way. Even when they try to leave, they only get so far when their plans are foiled. First, Ivy’s sister Shelly went into labor. When they try again, they miss a connecting flight delaying their original plans. But it seems that ghostly Amelia, the eccentric woman that owned the Seabreeze Inn originally, is following them. I absolutely love how Amelia and her husband Gustav are made a key part of this book. This storyline is wonderful!

Another beautifully written sweet story by Jan Moran. I highly recommend this fun, heartfelt series.

This was book #9 in the Summer Beach series. Finally, Ivy and Bennett will take their long overdue and much deserved honeymoon. Of course, there were a few delays and diversions along the way.
In the first chapter I was very happy for a review of the characters from the previous books in this series; it helped me catch up to where I had left off. I was able to refresh my memory of who was who and what had happened previously. A big thank you, Jan, for adding it into the current book without missing a beat.
I enjoyed meeting the new characters, Viola and Meredith who own the San Francisco home that belonged to Amelia Erickson. Seabreeze Inn was Amelia’s summer home.
Their honeymoon in Mallorca makes me want to plan a trip there too. It sounds beautiful and the unexpected connection to the artwork that Ivy had recovered at the Seabreeze Inn I found fascinating. That was a direction I wasn’t anticipating and very much enjoyed.
I was so glad that Ivy decided against selling the Seabreeze Inn so that the series will continue.
I have read every book in the Summer Beach series by Jan Moran. I love the story’s location and all the characters have become old friends and Seabreeze Honeymoon was another book in this series that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. I’m looking forward to Seabreeze Gala, the next book in this series.

Seabreeze Honeymoon is the ninth book in Jan Moran’s Summer Beach Series. Ms. Moran takes us back to Summer Beach for another wonderful story for this series. Ivy and Bennett finally get to take their honeymoon. This is a contemporary romance that will warm your heart. The characters, new and old, are well developed and continue to grow. It is fast paced and you will not want to put it down. Filled with all the family drama, mystery, suspense and friendships we are all used to from the previous books. The descriptions are vivid and real and puts you with the characters. Ms. Moran always surprises us with a new twist added to the story to keep the pages turning. This is a great book and series, I look forward to the next one, as I always do!!!

Thank you Sunny Palms Press and Jan Moran for another great book to read and review. The opinions expressed are strictly my own.

A good part of this book is based on coincidences, but there were just too many to make it believable. The chance meetings of so many people connected to Amelia just didn’t seem plausible. However, the story itself was enjoyable and the descriptions of San Francisco and Mallorca were spot on.

Although most of the story is about Ivy and Bennett’s honeymoon, there are a few dilemmas back at Seabreeze Inn. Both Ivy and Bennett try not to deal with these issues while on their get-away trip, but real life keeps interrupting.

The book is well written and the characters from Summer Beach are always fun to follow. The on-going story about Amelia continues to play a prevalent role in the themes of the Seabreeze books.

Jan Moran has written a great series and each book continues to develop old characters and introduce new ones. These are always entertaining books.

Why can't people just leave things be. Why do people think they have to have all the money in the world when there is only so much time to enjoy the minutes you have in your life.
Ivy and Bennett have wanted a honeymoon for over a year and they are finally able to take it but low and behold evil is coming to the town and so what will they do? Will they put it off again or will they put their feelings and needs first this time.
There is a great segment where because of circumstances they have had to stay in San Francisco and have had the joy of staying in the home of the owners of their home and find out more about the original ideas and plans for the two buildings.
Will they get to the island and have a break or will they be called back to the grind of everyday trials and tribulations to deal with.

Love this series. After their second Chance at romance, Ivy and Bennett still haven’t taken a honeymoon. Each has been very busy - Ivy with running the Inn, and Bennett being very busy being mayor of Summer Beach. When they finally decide to take advantage of a fabulous trip to Mallorca that they couldn’t pass up to finally take their honeymoon trip, it’s a race to see if they finally get away! Can the spirit of Amelia Erickson be guiding them along the way? Detour number one is missing connecting flight and being stranded in San Francisco. Loved their adventures along the way, and their love for one another being reaffirmed. Of course, the question is, will troubles back home for both of them cause them to come back from their honeymoon early? Love all the characters in this series, and how things tied to Amelia show up.

It has been a year since Ivy and Bennett said “I do” and still no honeymoon. Too much work and not enough spouse time is starting to take a toll. The Summer Beach gang are back together. The story picks up just after the end of the last book.
As the couple try for a romantic get away it’s one crisis after another. A fortunate missed flight leads them on an intriguing side trip.

This is a lovely well written book that we have come to expect from this author. The characters are warm and realistic. This is the latest entry into the Summer Beach series. Read them from the beginning to understand the small coincidences that accumulate.

This honeymoon is meant to be a time for them both to relax and just enjoy time with each other but also turns into reflecting on what's happened over the last few years and where they see things going in the future especially due to someone coming to town and looking to change the whole vibe of Summer Beach.
You really appreciate everything Bennett and Ivy balance when you see the struggle they have trying to just get to their destination, however everything happens for reason for the two of them as new friends are made as well as further secrets and stories about Amelia and her life.

Ivy and Bennett finally plan a honeymoon. However, repairs and constant demands from the Inn are stressful and almost threaten the vacation plans. Ivy gets an interesting proposition to sell the inn and Bennett is dealing with developers who want to radically change the atmosphere of the town.

Their vacation plans start off on the shaky side and get changed. But there are definite, but surprising benefits to the changes.

At the conclusion, everyone has grown, benefited from the vacation, and the story continues.

If you've loved the previous books in the series, you will no doubt love this book, too.

A wonderful, clean story of taking the time to celebrate a marriage and relationship. Both main characters live very busy lives and their work impacts many people. When they decide to finally take the time, a year into their marriage, for a honeymoon, their relationship deepens and grows more solid. You will want to keep reading to see how rerouted and missed flights end up adding a whole new depth to their trip and reunite with favorite characters as they hold down the fort at home. Marvel at the thread of mystery that runs through this series! Seabreeze Honeymoon reminds us of the importance of making your soulmate your top priority in your life and the happiness that will bring!

After reading the other books in the series, I feel connected to the main characters, Ivy and Bennett! So I was disheartened in the beginning of this book due to the conflicts that seemed to be arising between them. But what a wonderful turn of events as they rediscovered each other and their love. I enjoyed the new twists in the storyline of previous owners, Amelia and Gustav. This book was such a delight to read! I can't get enough of this series! Jan Moran seems to write with such ease and keeps us engaged throughout!.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
