Excellent book by an old-fashioned preacher whose old-fashioned thoughts on prayer are remarkably refreshing to read. This book was recommended by my pastor a few months ago, and I've been savoring it ever since and intend to reread it soon. The book mentions many other books on prayer and offers sage, practical advice on improving your prayer life. The author (who is in Heaven now) is also quite humorous, which I didn't expect. I suspect this book was scanned from an original document since it does have a few typos, and yet I found it a thoroughly delightful book that has been most encouraging. Highly recommend!
