Devil’s Revelations

Rate this book
Vincent needs to come to terms with all that has passed to finally shirk the demons and live in peace with Julian.

With the death of Julian’s father weighing heavy on his mind, Vincent vows to sift through his feelings and force himself to live a guilt-free life. An invitation to Lord Drover’s ball unsettles Vincent, but he attends with Julian, realizing one of Julian’s well-kept secrets.

The Christmas season is well under way, and the two spend it with those who they see as their family—Gordy, the captain of Le Frai De Demon, and his wife and brood. Their guests give them a very special gift and, at last, Vincent sheds the past and looks forward to a brighter future.

Sarah Masters is one of three pen names I write under. Sarah mainly writes m/m. Natalie Dae writes het erotica, while the third, Charley Oweson, writes thriller/horror/suspense books with no sex.

I enjoy writing all genres, though I haven't attempted, nor plan to attempt Sci-Fi.

***warning*** You can not purchase one without purchasing them all and reading them in order and in one straight shot. My overall rating of all the books in this series is a 4. Some are 3.5 and some are not but this is my average. Still pretty good.

You take a journey with Julian the Captain and Vincent who originally found each other while Vincent worked in a bank. Their interesting and not without drama, deceit, a force of Mother Nature and foes against kept the suspense going and each time you think it well think it not, there's no dull moments to be had. It's like everything, everyone but their closest friends were against them just for their love for one another. There is BDSM to warn you, but there's no repetition in words of endearment or sexual acts that even turned me off.

Sarah has mastered stories that I've read so far and this one series I enjoyed.

Overall this is a great series that doesn't bore. It has a rich, historical feel but lacks the depth and breath of M. Kei's The Sallee Rovers. Still it's far more literary in scope than a lotof what passes for erotica/BDSM. Thankfully Ms. Master's isn't into insulting a reader's intelligence, though Vincent skated pretty darn close to that irritating uke-type hero I don't particularly care for. On the other hand, we get some sexy switching action between Julian and Vincent. A great ending for the series. Plan to read more from Ms. Masters.

I learned that not everyone liked this writing style, my ideas, or my vision that, despite gays not being accepted years ago, I wished that it was so and tried to inject that into this series.
