Dr. T.L. Osborn, world missionary evangelist, statesman, teacher, author, publisher, linguist, designer, pianist, and administrator –was best known for his mass-miracle ministry to millions. With his wife & associate-minister, Dr. Daisy Washburn Osborn, they established their headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1949. Together they proclaimed the Gospel to millions of unreached people in over 90 nations for well over half a century of world-changing missionary-evangelism, preaching daily to multitudes from 20,000 to 300,000 people with God confirming his word by many astounding miracles.
I was given a paperback copy of this classic in Bible college for my Divine Healing class. Though lengthy, I finished it, along with many highlights and markings in a matter of days. I could not put it down. It lit a fire in me to see more miracles and healings in my life and ministry.
I've since moved to the mission field and could not bring all the books I own with me, but this was one of the handful I brought with me. I'm so glad it's available for the Kindle now and can bless more people through that reading channel. I've re-read many of the chapters more than once over the years.
For the price of a typical Kindle book, this one is more than worth the purchase as far as the length of the content is concerned. As for the quality of the content, if you put into practice what you learn from the book, it will have been way more than worth the purchase.
Bless God for T.L. Osborn who recently went home to be with the Lord. You leave behind much fruit and many lives impacted by your wonderful work! If it weren't for you I never would have gone on to see many of the things I've seen, nor would have I written my own work 6 Lies People Believe About Divine Healing
One of the best (if not the best) books on how to experience the power of God. It's written in a relevant way, practical and balanced. Filled with strong arguments and moving testimonies. If I had to recommend one book on the theme about healing (beside the Bible), it would definitely be this one!
This is as good book to read about healing, healing scriptures, and testimonies of how God has healed many people all over the world of blindness, deafness, and many other infirmities. This book builds your faith in God who is who we go to for healing.
I have mixed feelings with this book. God can heal us instantly and you should pray for that. Yet, we do suffer trials and sometimes we have lifelong afflictions that are NOT going to be healed on this side of heaven. He did not heal Paul's affliction. We are strong in our weakness, through Jesus Christ. What are we learning in the midst of the pain? Most of the time that is where we are closest to God, and that my friend is worth the sorrow....that turns to Joy!
This book, in my opinion only points to belief in complete healing with many, many bible verses pulled out of their context. I wanted a book that gave me inspiration to thrive in my constant chronic pain, this book ONLY focuses on the actual healing. Does this make sense? :/
This is a must read for every Christian, especially if they are dealing with illness or sickness. I give it five stars and it has changed the way I look at healing. So thankful for this book. Written in a way that is easy to understand, backed up with scriptures. There is a section in the back with testimonies of healings all over the world and some pictures in the middle of T.L. and his wife. Great read. Don't rush through it but take your time and let it sink in.
I learned many things about what God thinks about healing. The book is filled with Bible references so it's not about what T. L. Osborn believes or thinks but what God says. It has taught me that God wants believers to in good health and will heal all sickness if His word is followed.
There testimonies of Jesus are Prophecies that can be relived continuously Revelations 19:10. That brings continued life giving waters of completeness to one and all.
Straight forward, coming from the heart of the Living Christ, emphasising the truth of sins being forgiven, the sinner being redeemed from the power of sin (missing the divine mark) and then going forward into the space where forgiveness/redemption includes healing for all who come to the Messiah for help. Questions the general evangelical and Christian teaching that only sin is forgiven and that sickness might continue to be God's will for many in terms of "chastening", "refining in the fire", "suffering as gain", etc, and asserts by means of many examples, Biblical and experiential, that God's will is for the healing of human beings from sickness.
Sometimes we as humans have the ability to limit God and his miracles. This book will open your eyes to the wonderful mystery of the Miracle of Healing. It will help you better grasp the wonders God has in store for us.
Exceptional! This is a must read for everyone wanting to know about healing. This book dispels lots of horrible doctrine that has crept into the Church over the years about healing like: does God heal everyone? Does God want people well?
Undoubtedly the greatest book on healing! (Except, of course, for the Bible!) Every born again Christian must read this book. It is one of the greatest books ever written!
