I'm being generous with this rating because I'm not sure if this author understands English Grammar or simply needs an editor/proof readers. The story is full of miss-used words, extra words, and simple grammar issues to the point of frustration at times. These things can be corrected and an updated version easily uploaded. But as it stands, it's more of a rough draft than a fit and polished product. The mystery is good and offers a nice twist near the end, but there isn't any spice in the romance department. Characters are okay overall, though I had a hard time with the two MC's as they seemed to fall out of character at times. They hint at hot and heavy, but never get there. Maybe author was trying to keep this YA genre?
