F*ck the Bucket List for the Soul: Discover the Wonder of You

Rate this book
You were born to venture into uncharted territories in search of possibilities.

It's a voyage of courage to show up with questions and an imagination. You find yourself wondering whether there's much more to life than you were told. But often, you find yourself so immersed in the chaotic pursuit of "success" as defined by society that you simply don't have time to experience life to the fullest.

Are you ready to live a more intentional life in which you consciously decide what is uniquely healthy for your mind, body, and soul, and let go of what is unhealthy? If you are, life will never be the same. The journey will be intense. It is not for the faint of heart. But as you learn how to access and trust the universal wisdom within your own heart, your life will begin to shift dramatically.

This book is not for everyone. It's for anyone ready to start questioning everything, and to simply say f*ck it--or whatever words you choose to use, when something in life no longer serves you. It will help you become more aware of the choices you make, and your responsibility as an architect of your life, not its victim.

F*ck the Bucket List helps you realize that this is a time to listen to the whispers of your soul. As the Universe insists: Letting go means making space for your wildest creations. Come discover the wonder of you.

"This book is especially timely in this volatile era where living a healthy, meaningful, and uplifting life by understanding more deeply one's self and thus one's ability to do so makes this book a must-read. I was touched by the specific, actionable insights and examples Ayelet Baron provides to put us on that path. ~ Kare Anderson, Emmy-winning journalist, author and TED speaker. "Ayelet Baron's trilogy of F*CK THE BUCKET LIST is truly an empowering read. Ayelet poses questions that are critically important for this time in our evolution and more importantly-for our survival.

Many of us have been so conditioned to giving our power away by yielding it to the status quo that we have lost our individual voices and as a result, compromised our collective future. Ayelet reminds us that we each have a voice and provides the space to explore what that is and to unapologetically use it. A must read!"

As I started reading this book, the author warned me in the first few pages that it’s not for everyone, and also that I would pretty much immediately know if it was for me or not. Boy, was she right! As I finished the very first chapter, I felt a deep resonance with her words and as I read on, this resonance only grew until I could clearly hear the voice of my heart saying that this was a book that would stay with me for a long time.

The author, Ayelet Baron, faces the issues of our current world head-on—wars, the pandemic, corporate greed, media manipulation, and the ever-growing disconnection most people have to their hearts, bodies, and souls. She talks about a “timeline shift” in which 2 to 5% of the population are experiencing massive growth and evolution as a result of the trying times we are in right now, and this is something I can personally attest to. I work with Highly Sensitive, intuitive people, and more of us are waking up now than ever before. These newly awakened souls are hungry for new information and new perspectives on how we can begin to build a better world as we go forward into the future. Baron’s book is one such resource that I will be recommending in the years to come to anyone who interested in truly, deeply shifting as a human being and who is interested in building a global community with compassion and kindness included in its core values.

If you are someone who has been forced to pause in your life due to the pandemic, and you’re now looking around and beginning to question everything, and maybe feeling very lost and confused as you do so in this new stage of your life, I highly recommend this book. It’s a map, a guidepost, and a bright shining light that will help ease the journey into the, as yet, unformed future ahead.

I loved and hated this book. I loved the aspect of learning about yourself in all the things you do in actions and reactions. I love the way it’s explained that you really need to learn to say f*uck it sometimes. I didn’t like the whole concept that politics plays in the book. It’s not right in your face but it’s subtle in some areas. Overall this book is totally life changing for some and I would definitely recommend this to those going through changes in life where they are trying to figure out what’s important and what’s not for their own peace and sanity.

How frustrating is it to be told by all the different sources the things you must do to be successful in life? This book definitely does NOT do that. It instead takes an empathetic approach and gives bite size approaches and allows you to have kindness and patience with yourself. This is so necessary for everyone to read in life. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This book seemed to take a lifetime to actually get going. The introduction just went on and on!
By the time the book got into the nitty gritty I had lost all interest.
I didn't enjoy the writing style, and I found it was lacking any substance.
I didn't get anything from this! Just felt frustrated!
