not sure i recommend reading them all back to back but these books were exactly what i needed. super short and fast reads. all similar style but still enjoyable
Elizabeth, Lizzy or Liz is a dance instructor working two other jobs so that she can provide for her son Evan. She has not had an easy life since she got pregnant by a werewolf who used to beat her and a set of parents who left her to her own demise when she refused to abort her pregnancy. They went as far as to cut her off totally from the trust fund left her by her grandmother. The result, swearing off men.
Elliot is the pack Alpha , who always sees the positive in any situation.
In his current position as Alpha, he has helped members of his pack with the hunt, chase and climax phases of the werewolf mating ritual and even in the case of a werewolf who has been rejected by his mate and is about to lose his mind.
He has never been confronted with a situation where the hunter is a female werewolf and the male is the one being hunted without forgetting that the huntress has a 2 years old baby boy.
That is just what happens when Liz makes a delivery at his house, starts shifting with her eyes becoming red and cries "Mate".
This is Lizzy's, Evan and Elliot's story and it is worth reading with, again it's powerful message about reconstituted families.
Book 6
Sabrina is Lizzy's best friend, who she considers as a sister. To Evan, Lizzy's son, she is simply aunt Abby. Waitressing at Zed's restaurant, she has always sought single male werewolves because, as a human, she desperately wants the soulmate connection and become a member of a pack. Her expert with men is not so good as the moment they learn that she is loaded, they either seek her endorsement in a risky endeavor or use her body and then run away.
Dax is a werewolf who'purpose is to detect problematic situations and provide solutions to solving them. Helpful though secretive, he has difficulty expressing what he thinks or feel to others outside the pack. At the beginning he acts more as a collaborator than anything in his dealings with Sabby until that night, at the restaurant when, seeing her, he starts to shift and with his red eyes, utters the word " Mate"
This is Sabrina (Sabby)'s and Dax's story and it is worth reading with it's powerful message..
Book 7
Charly is about to be sexually assaulted by her drunk date in a garage's toilet. She just called her two best friends, not far from there, who live with a nearby pack of werewolves and are mated to members of that pack. Ryder comes to her rescue and, after busting her date's chops, his eyes start to glow red, he starts shifting and he yells Mate.
This is the story of Charly and Ryder/Oscar and it is great.
I discovered this author not so long ago through books she wrote and sort of fell under her spell. She has a special way to creating stories about the paranormal with the main characters engaging in dialogs with a funny attitude under the worst circumstances and using sass and witt that made this reader laugh at certain moments during my reading this story, while also keying up my interest in the plot as well as reactions from all the characters the author uses in her story.
The series turned into a page turner that I highly recommend with a rating of 5 Stars. If I could give it ten stars, I would.
the epitome of submersive world building. rustic. magical settings. diverse characters, growth arcs, and fated mates overcoming personal and romantic difficulties to find true love with their partner, its done perfectly. interconnected series spanning 7 couples, well written in a cohesive timeline. the author takes difficult subjects, traumatic experiences, and speaks so well about each one so it sheds light on difficult topics like abuse, abandonment, and healing journeys to overcome some things that are rarely talked about in mainstream literature. she touches on how difficult being a single parent healing from abuse can be and makes it feel like she's talking about you, the reader. i absolutely loved meeting all the characters, learning their individual needs and what makes them tic. i am definitely recommending this series, and the author, to my fellow readers. book worms, and anyone else who will listen to me about it. she describes one character's love of reading and books, making me question who told her about my reading style. she describes one couple as borderline outcasts finding acceptance and seeing from different points of view, looking at their situations from new perspectives to realize they have never been outcasts, and are accepted and loved by their found family, their pack. it warms my heart, and makes me want to be in the story myself. i cant wait to recommend the book series to everyone.
The passioned follow-up to the first series, another brilliant series by Lola Glass. This set was perfect except I wanted more of it. Elliot and Liz we're so fun, I loved the opportunity to here the story from both of them equally for the first time. Dax and Sabrina’s story was so addictive I read it twice back to back. ( I loved the quiet homage to the Burning Kingdom series too, which I read first). Ryder and Charly’s story was so heartfelt, intense and achingly both sad and sweet I couldn't get enough of it. Seriously I need a sequel for them stat, lol. Their story gave me too many of all the “feels” and touched my heart that can't get enough. Their story ended too quickly. Please write more of these I can't get enough. Your series has me fangirling like Sabby wishing I could find a werewolf mate too. Keep the books coming I love your point of view and how you portray how amazing love can be when you and your mate live your life as a team in every way.
It does have a very quick read and easy-to-get-swept-up-in style. There is tension, but it’s still a nice break from reality. The first four books (not in this download) are a little bit repetitive in the plot points (although each set of MCs is unique and they are still fun to read). These three books did an excellent job of breaking the pattern and finding a unique way to get the MCs together and to get them to their HEA in a unique way. It was really a great improvement to already good books. I’m glad I read them and I felt very satisfied at the end of the series—although I would also love to read more stories in Moon Ridge. Perhaps the next generation, even…
Oh wow! I enjoyed books 1-4 so jumping right into 5-7 was awesome. I’m not sure which one I liked best, but it seems like the stories only got better. Lizzy who had rejected her 1st mate. Sab and wanting a wolf mate so bad she was annoying as a MC when she got her wish and then was “But how do I know if he loves me?” I was so, so glad Ryder got redemption. Great series for bing reading. Thank you for sticking the 7 books in two volumes, it gave me a chance to say hi to my husband 🤣 Totally recommend the series, and other books by Lola Glass. Can hardly wait to see what she writes next!
18+, XXX. Adult, reader discretion advised. Not every live story is easy. The most difficult beginning love stories are, book wise, most successful. Three couples with deadly beginnings. Two by murder and one by near death. Lots of obstacles to overcome, enough self doubt to fill an ocean and ex's that keep haunting the present. And werewolves. These are quick reads and fun, despite the drama. I don't have a favorite couple as they all are very different. I enjoyed these books and hope you enjoy them too.
I loved this series with each of the pack getting their own mate and their own H.E.A….just perfect. Each pack member had trials to reach that H.E.A. But with the help, support and love of the other pack members they realize they weren’t alone. Lola Glass has a fun and exciting way of writing that draws you to each story. Thank you Lola for writing this series and I look forward to reading more of your stories.
I enjoyed this set of stories, and there were a few little twists that made them interesting. I think my favorite part of all of them was that there were no werewolf women and that the women were just as surprised as the men about their attraction. There were some sweet moments and some exciting ones, and that's what it's all about. I think some of the writing could have done with some more thorough editing, but other than that, these stories were well-written and fun.
A wonderful ending to a fabulous paranormal romance adventure series. My only complaints are the packs who behaved badly should have been punished and rules out in place to help it not happen again. I would love more in their world to get a check in with our friends and their family.
Loved this series. I needed something that had no triggers just a HEA. Seeing the pack all find their mates and the various stories kept me wanting to read more. I devoured them in 2 days. I usually can pick a favourite but seriously all of them are great. All the males are really hot but not your typical 'werewolf'. I loved it.
This author never disappoints! I tore through the first four novellas in just two days (sleep came second), and I honestly couldn’t tell you which couple I loved the most. Each one had its ups and downs, made me laugh out loud, and even brought a few tears. In short, it’s a 5-star read that warms your heart and leaves you smiling.
I enjoyed all of these books. Characters are fun and have enjoyable personalities. I love how the mated pairs fit so perfectly. Not just physically but emotionally! Thank you Lola for sharing this world with me. I look forward to reading more of your stories.
This series was so much fun to read. I love that the characters have depth without getting into too much detail that it creates anxiety. Every story is a fun read with characters you love. Lola Glass is a master at this.
Wow!! Love all three books, Ryder's was my favorite due to he so deserved redemption and a second chance! In this book, the couples were different on how they come together, and I totally love them all!
I find myself picking up Lola books over and over again because I know that I am in for funny/witty dialogue, detailed worlds where characters collide, and yes… Really good spicy bits.
I enjoyed your books very much. I did notice that Ryder's was a little hotter than the rest. Loved it read these 7 books in like 3 days. I'll definitely be reading more of your books. Thanks, Lola Glass.
I read every book back to back. It was great. I couldn’t put them down. I love that. They killed Lisa and I loved how people who are wrong. Them came back into their lives and regretted it. The books were great would totally recommend and read again.
Books 5-7 were even better than 1-4!!! My favorite book in this series was Ryder (Oscar) and Char's!!! It had a ton of funny comments from Char and I loved it!!!
Do yourself a favor and read these books. They are amazing. All the women are amazing and it’s nice to know that everyone has some sort of baggage and the men in their lives. Do whatever they can to make sure the ladies know their loved
Really wish that these kind of things happened in real life. Finding that one person to be with for the rest of your life, a dream come true. I was especially delighted that Ryder, got a second chance with love. Excellent read.
Im so glad I came across these. And that the ferals are getting books now. Although, maybe they aren't the same ferals, since this one was a whole pack. Hmmm. Either way, it was good to come remember where it all started.
Really good. now I still have to read the last story but I absolutely enjoyed all the packs books though book 5 does seem a little rushed amd like she was just trying to find reasons. But I did still enjoy it alot.
I literally finished all 7 books in this series in 2 days if that would of been faster but life got in my way a few times. I love all the characters and their wolfy counterparts.
