Jared has came through the last six months none the worse for the wear. He has been kidnapped by Elder Stefan, saw his friend Anika beaten up and was publicly humiliated at the Math Olympics. Jared now has an unwanted protector, Elder Inga of the Royal Council of Vampires. She is the second oldest vampire behind Elder Stefan and just as manipulative. Inga takes an interest in Jared's well being and suddenly he is driving fancy cars and wearing the best in clothing. The good times do not last long, Jared's friends have been manipulated into being pawns for the Vampires and Jared doesnt know how to get them out.
I know a bunch of you have been asking exactly you the heck I am. First off, my name is Whiskey Flowers, I was active duty army and now I am a proud member of the New Mexico National Guard. In my day job, I am a corrections officer, I watch the best and brightest Albuquerque has to offer and make little money doing it. I am originally from Oakland, California, home of dumbasses and knuckleheads everywhere where I attempted to become their leader until the army put me on a different path. As many of you have pointed out, I never got my high school diploma, I am a GED student but I make it look good. If any of you are ever in New Mexico and want a drinking partner, I got you.
I have very much enjoyed this series and Jared’s story. I would love to see it continued or wrapped up ( I am a sucker for happy endings). If this is the end, it was a delightful ride.
The author has a great imagination, is innovative in creating beginnings and fleshing out middles. A bit weak on closing the deal but can be forgiven for that. If possible a really good proof reader to catch grammatical errors and typos. Pleasse give the writer and this series a chance.
A continuing story of Jared. It’s a good fairly quick read not as much as zoom his more popular characters but a good story that could use at least one more book to complete in a good spot,? Could go with the combined vampire blood mixing with fae powers to make him more unique and resistant to control.
A nice slice of life, with a reasonable MC. The storyline arc is believable and fits well with the MC'S personality. Friends, enemies, frenemies, crises, and the other crucibles of live fit perfectly. Would like to see it wrapped up....but I can use my imagination... hmmm...what about the second fae queen?
Whiskey I enjoyed this story, it's a bit different than your other ones that I love to wrap myself up in, but I found that I couldn't put it down, thanks for the many hours of enjoyment in your fantasy worlds. ☺ I can't wait to see what is next from you.
These books were great! I was reading another author and accidentally downloaded the wrong book, since I had it I read it and IV been reading through all of this authors works since. I especially liked this storyline about the vampires and far and would happily read as many more as the author wants to write!
I didn't enjoy the first book the first time I read it. But I thoroughly enjoyed the four books. This author gets better and this story arc is really enjoyable read. It's a shame it's the last book. Highly recommended.
Read number three then miraculously this was there loved it but would love more please let there be more!!! Really enjoyed it as always whiskey flowers is always a great read thank you so much for the lovely evening
Sir just finished read all four books took about3 days to read them love them start to finish i will gladly join the other i read most of your othr books the 2 thunder series are my favorite
The author seems to like angry protagonists, however both this and his mage series, draw you in, and kept me hooked. Please see if you can get these books set as a series, it was a pain finding the books, due to kindle ui
Much better than the last but still missing what happens when he turns 18 or meeting the winter queen. Alot left and could be wrapped up if there's a next book
Great book and a great series. I certainly do hope book 5 comes out soon. I really want to read it. I highly encourage you to read this series. It's pretty great period
Whiskey you did it again, solid writing, plot, and characters. Keep going man, this series does need a final book to tie it off, maybe a Breaking Bad type ending, just saying.
