Ashaf leaves one such instrument, which takes the form of a child, in Guideau's care until a method to contain its ability to absorb magic is secured. Meanwhile, Paladin Cugat finds himself at the Executioners' doorstep, lured by Oakleave's invitation to the shadowy organization…

After the huge battle with the vampires from the under levels, our MCs are now...tasked with looking after a little boy?

The first story about the cursed humanlike doll is quite nice! (and she is pretty talkative) Although it is not the best story out there.

So, a new mystery about babysitting, a seed, a weapon and the scheme of the evil (?) witches?

Rating: 3.9 stars.

I like the previous volume better...the battle scenes are more exciting.

J’ai trouvé ce nouveau tome vraiment passionnant ! Et ce, du début à la fin ! Les dessins sont toujours aussi chouettes à mes yeux The Witch and the Beast est un bon manga surfant entre le fantastique et la fantasy avec son lot de créatures, de vampires ou de sorcières.

Guido se voit confier la graine devenue un jeune enfant et dont les pouvoirs sont immenses. Celui-ci est d’ailleurs convoité par les sorcières qui veulent le récupérer à tout prix. Il y a vraiment beaucoup de moments forts et de rebondissements dans cette suite ! Du côté de Guido, celui-ci joue les nounous tandis qu’ailleurs chaque personnage qu’Ashaf et Guido ont déjà croisé, se retrouve en danger mortel.

Ça bouge beaucoup de tous les côtés et je n’ai pas eu le temps de m’ennuyer. La trame prend une nouvelle dimension, et on sent même une certaine urgence dans les évènements qui se dévoilent. Tout ce qui est déjà arrivé par le passé, chaque histoire qui semblait indépendante, au rythme des missions de nos héros, semble arriver à un moment où elles vont se rejoindre.

Enfin bref. Le graphisme est vraiment chouette, c’est très vivant et ce dixième tome a été un vrai page turner pour moi. Et pour une fois, tout semble assez tranquille du côté de Guido. Comme on dit, c’est le calme avant la tempête et j’ai hâte de lire la suite pour savoir ce qu’il va se passer.

Un nouveau tome que j’ai dévoré et adoré.

Il bambino nato da uno strumento proibito sta mettendo in serio pericolo la risonanza magica. Mentre Cougat scende a patti con i Giustizieri, gli attentati contro i membri della risonanza e i loro affiliati si susseguono senza sosta. È stata una sorpresa ritrovarsi davanti all'irruento Danword, ma è un personaggio interessante e sono contenta che l'autore abbia deciso di continuare a usarlo.
Questo, sfortunatamente, è al momento l'ultimo volume disponibile dell'opera. La serie è ferma da un po' a causa di problemi di salute dell'autore, ma speriamo possa riprendere al più presto. Fino ad ora è un'opera validissima sia dal punto di vista della trama che dei disegni, sarebbe un vero dispiacere non avere più modo di seguire le avventure di Guideau e Ashaf.

Pongo el último tomo pero hablo de la obra en general

Al principio, se me hacía un poco costra la historia, pero fueron pasando las sagas y estoy empezando a ver como converge todo y todo tiene sentido ahora. Es un manga que puede que esté muy menospreciado pero si sigues leyendo te puedes encontrar una historia muy entretenida, llena de personajes interesantes y un dibujo excelente

Lamentablemente la obra se encuentra en hiatus y salen capítulos muy de vez en cuando por la salud del autor, pero espero que se recupere y pueda continuar con esta obra

After a chaotic volume 9, this is cleanly drawn and the pace slows, just a bit. The opening pages give us a refresher on the happenings in 9 while also picking up right where the flashback left off before taking us back to Guideau and the (creepy) child and ghost doll. Through Matt, we meet the enigmatic leader of the Executioners, and we witness the coven's cruelty in their search for the creepy child. We get a well rounded glimpse of how the Order's allies are handling the situation, including some of the newer allies, and some more character development. Ashaf is busy behind the scenes and life seems quite ordinary for Guideau by comparison to everything else (all things considered). There's even a rather sweet scene, at least on the surface since we don't really know what's happening there. The doll seems to have some thoughts, but she's not telling us. Bring on 11!

গিডোকে কোনো এক উইচ শাপ দিয়েছে। উইচের শাপ কাটানো সবচেয়ে ঝামেলার। শাপ কাটানোর জন্য আগে সেই উইচকে খুজে বের করতে হবে। সেই জার্নিতেই দেখা মেলে ম্যাজিক নিয়ে কাজ করে এমন এক অর্গানাইজেশনের এজেন্টের সাথে। একসাথে দুজন সাথে বিশাল এক কফিন নিয়ে তারা ম্যাজিক কেস সলভ করতে শুরু করে। 


"উইচ এন্ড দ্যা বিস্ট" মাঙ্গাটার শুধু নামটাই মেলে বিউটি এন্ড দ্যা বিস্টের সাথে এছাড়া বাকি গল্পটা আমার কাছে বেশ অরিজিনাল লেগেছে। ওয়ার্ল্ড বিল্ডিং থেকে শুরু করে প্রতিটা চরিত্রের নিজস্বতা ও পাওয়ার সিস্টেম গল্পে মানিয়েছে বেশ। মূল চরিত্র গিডো টিপিক্যাল ফিমেইল ক্যারেক্টার থেকে বেশ আলাদা। উইচ, বিস্ট, ভ্যাম্পায়ার আর মেজদের পৃথিবীতে গল্পগুলো লিপ্সা, শোধ আর কখনো বা ভালোবাসার৷ 


এনিমে আসবে সামনে এটার। বেশ ভালো হওয়ার কথা। আর মাঙ্গাতে মাত্র ৫৫টা চ্যাপ্টার আছে এখন পর্যন্ত। ওয়ার্ল্ড বিল্ডিং এর সাইজ অনুযায়ী ৫০০টা চ্যাপ্টার পার্ফেক্ট হবে, তবে অতগুলো হবে না সম্ভবত।

Volume 10: (Chapters 49-55)

It seems like Angela and a group of witches have banded together to attack the castle of the Holy Knights in order to rob them of Forbidden Items. We get to see some old faces such as the Sword Witch, the Ice Mage, and the Necromancer and her side kick- as well as the Executioners.

So what exactly were the witches after? Well it seems they were after is something called The Seed- but that seed has become a child? A child that Ashaf has foisted off onto Guideau due to the fact that it uses magic to grow and Guideau is the only one in the Order not brimming with magic.

Can these two strange beings survive each other when the Witches are causing havoc all around looking for the Seed?

Literally my new favorite manga series. I'm obsessed and can't stop thinking about the world and the characters.

Which is why it breaks my heart that the series has been on hiatus for a few years due to the mangaka's health. I do hope Satake is okay but if you're planning on reading this, take your time and do not binge it like some of us (i.e. me).

I can't believe there's a kickass manga series with a primary antagonist named Angela and she's a psycho witch who body switches to stay alive. Insane.

Also, this series is like all of the witch-centered stories I've wanted to write but never did. Can we collectively say thank you to Kousuke Satake?

this is a review for the entire story from the first volume until this volume. the story is filled with mystery as you enter this magical world. you have our protagonist-Guideau-who is fierce and rush to compact when ever it involves witches.

Guideau Despise witches for what they did to here. what most i like about the story is the character dynamic between the due. Ashaf is a cool and calculating character, while Guideau is more short-tempered.

the story in my opinion is not that remarkable but nevertheless it is still entertaining.

Not the kiddos 😭 I hope Falvell's curse is lifted soon, you just KNOW she's got some words to say to a lot of folks.

This was a good volume, I feel like everyone's all coming together- and well, with the final panel, we see that sh*t may go down in the next volume. 🤔 I wonder what the executioners & Cugat will be doing. Will they make an appearance? Will they be their own side, or work begrudgingly with "The Order"?

I keep hearing rumors about this series going under completely, and they make a lot of sense with this final volume. It feels like the author just didn't know what to do anymore. It was supposed to come back in 2023, but just went dark.
I have a feeling that this is it for this one.

It feels like everything is coming full circle with the creepy omen child. Hopefully, this is all concluded in the next volume…. I hope that it doesn’t take too long for it to come out. Please.

Un tome palpitant du début à la fin, et si je ne me trompe pas, le prochain doit sortir en septembre prochain et l'attente va être longue, très longue. Mais je ne suis vraiment pas mécontente de m'être plongée dans The Witch and the beast car avec son ton bien particulier, comme son design, le manga a clairement su gagner mon coeur.

Après la fin du tome neuf, j'avoue que je ne m'attendais pas à tout ce qui arrive ici. Ça a des allures de fin de saga, et j'espère vraiment que ce n'est qu'un arc parce que, non, clairement je ne veux pas quitter nos héros. Commençons par le plus drôle. Enfin le seul élément à vrai dire : Guido en garde d'enfant ! Rien qu'en écrivant ça, je suis prise d'un fou rire. Mais qui irait confier un enfant (bon d'accord, c'est un artefact interdit mais ça reste un enfant) à Guido ? Qui ? Ashaf bien entendu. Et le pire, c'est que ça a l'air de fonctionner autant pour l'un que pour l'autre. Et ce petit bonhomme reste extrêmement mignon, surtout envers ses gardiennes. On n'arrive pas à oublier qu'il est dangereux, notamment avec son regard, mais en même temps, tous les passages concernant ce bout d'intrigue du manga, sont juste adorables.

Et à côté de cela, la traque de la clique d'Angela pour retrouver l'artefact continue. Si Ashaf est quelque peu absent pour le coup, par contre, nous avons droit aux retours de nombreux personnages. Et je vous avoue que c'était plus que jouissif, même si encore une fois, on a l'impression de voir une armée se former pour le grand combat. Il y a une tension bien palpable que ce soit durant les combats que certains doivent faire face, ou bien des informations que l'on apprend. Il y a un excellent rythme qui plus est avec l'alternance de passages plus ou moins dramatiques et anxiogène, et d'autres plus calmes et contemplatifs. C'est comme soit être dans l'oeil du cyclone ou bien en pleine tempête. Si bien que les pages se tournent toute seule.

Je sais que l'on a encore beaucoup de choses à apprendre, notamment sur Guido, qui reste encore un mystère et c'est ce qui me fait espérer que la suite ne nous mènera pas trop rapidement vers la fin. Je serais déçue si avec la capture d'Angela, ce soit la fin de tout, mais encore faut-il l'attraper. Alors oui, je m'attends à ce que le tome onze de The Witch and the beast soit assez épique, ou du moins dans la même lignée que celui-ci, car on a vraiment l'impression d'avoir passé un cap, que les petites missions à répétition étaient bel et bien finies. Et j'ai hâte. J'espère juste que je ne place pas trop d'espoir dans cette suite.

My review of Vol. 1 gives an overall insight into my feelings on this series.

A stark pace shift from the last arc, and yet I'm still hooked. This volume does an excellent job of setting up the next arc and poses so many questions in my noodle. Plus, this has to be my absolute FAOURITE cover thus far.

I just need more Ashaf in my life and I'll be set...
