This story has strong similarities to Batman and Robin. Except Gargoyle seems to be Batman on steroids, his weapons have weapons. The book moves at varying paces as it’s trying to establish itself and the players. We start the story knowing that the original character is not going to make it, so you try not to get to invested in him since you know his ultimate fate. Victor comes across as a guy trying to take his city back from the bad guys. Some of his methods may come across as a bit sneaky and dirty but sometimes you have to get a bit dirty to clean things up.

Eli is more Robin to Gargoyle’s Batman, he’s the poor adopted younger brother that is now trying to fill some rather large shoes. He has to transition from the kid brother to the leader of their company and has some serious decisions to make for his future as well as his city’s future.

The story does keep you engaged and you develop empathy for the characters. There are some small distractions like typos and some clunky transitions but it does not stop you from enjoying the story and really getting into the gadgets.

Gargoyle is a vigilante fighting criminals the police struggle to catch but what of the man inside.
This is a superhero style story with Victor Fortune venturing out at night to fight crime and put fear into the criminals.but after a high society party is attacked by gunman Victor and his brother Eli escape down an alleyway shots are fired. The police want the criminals and the Gargoyle., families want justice but can everyone get what they want or deserve. A Superhero story to relax and enjoy.

A well written intriguing storyline. The story was easy to follow once everything settled down. The story is about war that would destroy mankind but four wizards step up to run the world. What follows is mankind struggle with new power. The characters have depth and are interesting. The plot is filled with twist and turns as the wizards and mankind try to find some balance. The story has just about everything in it like magic, drama and a little bit of romance.

Really good story

This is a 5 star storyline, that is well executed with excellent character development. While this story has a super hero comic book premise, it has the feels, and heart, of so much more. This author has talent and I hope this is book 1 to the start of a series. That being said, there is one very big negative — it needs serious proofing (accordingly, I docked the review by one star). I was able to read around that and enjoy the story, but a lack of proofing will hold this author back with bad reviews.

By day he works hard as a businessman but at night he is the gargoyles who protects others. One night he was off duty with his brother when they are ambushed and he was killed. Now his brother has to take over The reins. He finds it is not as easy as he thought. What will he do? See what he will do

The story was interesting and I would have rated it higher if it had been even mediocrely edited. As it is, it appears to have been dictated to a software package that was so cheap it didn't edit at all. Apparently, the author didn't even reread it for errors. This is very lazy and, at least to me, ruined the book. I will not read that author again.

Gargoyle

Looks as though we have a new super hero to cheer for! Gargoyle was sort of forced into the roll or maybe inherited is a better word. We can always use another GOOD GUY. I RECOMMEND. ENJOY !!

Good Read

I enjoyed this story quite a lot. It reminded me of the Batman stories. My only complaint is that there were quite a lot of typos, missing words, and sentence structure issues.

Too many ads.

That story was fine, but ads after each chapter got old quick. Will not be reading anymore of the authors work if all of his books are like this.

There are obvious similarities to Batman here as a man becomes a vigilante after his brother's death. It was an entertaining read and I would recommend it.

Interesting but an advertisement after every chapter

Well thought out and a great twist two thirds in.
Could have been four stars if not for an ad after every single chapter. I understand it's a free book. However, my feeling is for free I'm willing to overlook some poor sentence structure or using words like bear instead of bare. I hope this isn't a new trend for free books.
