What started as a fun series of short spicy stories has concluded with a phenomenal novella. What a conclusion! I don't want to spoil anything so the only thing I'll say is, this was beautiful. The elevation where Sir took Alice, and then the depths they both fell to, and the way they clawed their way back out again, was cathartic and beautiful. Absolutely beautiful story with a beautiful conclusion that will stick with you.

This series is SO crazy...the finale of course couldn't be different 🔥 And I don't say this in a bad way.. I mean hello have we met? I love crazy and fucked up.

This story is dark, steamy, kinky with "I'm not a good man" theme.

I cannot explain it but Gabriel gives me weird vibes. Okay, maybe I can explain it a little.

1. He spent 5 books breaking Alice *cough I mean training Alice* to make her see that all the things he does to her are deep down things that she wants herself.

2. He literally went through hell to gain her trust because Alice.. she's a person who has SO MANY second thoughts. If you told her it's May the 13 she's be like "is it though?" 👀.

3. They established rules between them that are there to protect them both. He's the dom and she's the sub. He has the control and she gives it to him. He tests her limits and she surrenders to him. He talks and she listens. He whips her, spanks her, gags her, fucks her.. and she takes it. On top of that she has to be thankful because if she's not then she will be punished.

Long story short.. everything was good until Gabriel decided to make a scene with another sub in front of Alice and all hell broke loose. I mean.. i see why you were hurt girl. You felt betrayed.

This man had some serious groveling to do.

In my opinion though.. I didn't mind that Gabriel did the scene with Harper. I'd be SO thankful that the person enduring all that wouldn't be me.. If you've read what he did to that girl.. and she enjoyed it. 😩 She is a painslut and well.. Gabriel is a sadist.
Surprise surprise I know.

But again. Alice is not me and I'm sure she would appreciate Gabriel's trust that meant she had what it needed to perform with him in that scene.

Alice and Gabriel's journey is not an easy one. It has a lot of trauma, trust issues, pain and kink. It also has a lot of smut 🥵. This book is number 6 if I'm not mistaken and the big finale.I HIGHLY recommend to read the previous 5 before it because their story can't be experienced on its full potential otherwise. You'll miss shit. And trust me you don't want to. 🔥

Tropes/triggers:
-BDSM
-Alpha male/innocent heroine
-Dom/sub
-forbidden love
-voyeurism
-pain

As I finish the final book in The Wonderland Chronicles, I find my emotions are so mixed. My heart is shattered in the best of ways, yet I also wish I had never started them so I could go back and reread them again for the first time.

Jute takes us on a roller coaster of emotions. Not only do we get the HEA love story of Gabriel and Alice, but we get beauty, and ugly, of the bdsm lifestyle. Alexis Rey is honest in her story of Alice falling down the rabbit hole. Dealing with the ugly that are often glazed over in other books: subdrop, jealousy, emotions, frenzy, etc. It's honest and real. Those who are in the life can appreciate the reality of it. Alexis also shows the beauty of it all too: the deeper connection of Dom and sub, the freedom of release, the beauty of submission.  Jute takes us on the real journey of BDSM. Mistakes and all. As the final book in the series, Jute is exactly what I hope it would be. Difficult to read in some areas and delicious in others. Romantic in the right way, yet sexy and steamy too.

As an ARC reader for this series, I feel so privileged to have walked with Alice through her journey in Wonderland. And also jealous at times. Alexis Rey is truly a talented author. I can't wait to see where she takes us next.

✨Review: Jute ✨

Something about bookstagram that I love is the connections we are able to make with fellow readers and authors. It is through this platform that I was able to meet the brilliant @authoralexisrey and simply revel in the Alice in Wonderland chronicles for the past few months. @authoralexisrey, it has been a blast being on your arc team and discuss your books with you. Thank you for including me!

While I am usually a thick book kind of gal, I do love my hot spicy novellas just as much. In this last installment of the AiW chronicles I was amazed at how many emotions were pulled from me (cried twice!) in such a short amount of time. The last time we saw Alice and Sir, I really was worried about the direction things were going. It didn’t take me long to get invested in their story, and I was nervous I was going to get crushed. And I did - I got so mad part way through this novella I was trembling. But what do we love? Redemption. Hope. And BDSM. Because in the end, that ALWAYS wins.

I applaud you on the conclusion of your epic series!!! Check triggers, then go start your journey in wonderland! You won’t regret it!

Jute is the final book in the Wonderland series and Alice is back for another play session with her Dom Gabriel.

Alice has taken a special place in Gabriel’s heart and he finds himself texting and calling her outside of Wonderland which go against all of his boundaries.

Gabriel decides to take Alice to the next level and push her limits past anything shes experienced before. This time includes rope, another submissive, and a glass room surrounded by observers.

Alice knows her limits and knows when Gabriel crosses them when she calls red for the first time.

Alice's sessions at Wonderland are always a fun and spicy read. The author is well versed on the subject giving a reality and synchronicity to her characters. I've enjoyed being able to ARC read for her for all of her series and give this newest addition 4⭐️.

What a conclusion to Alice's time in Wonderland!

I had such a great time with this series. The writing was done well, the smut scenes were 🥵, the characters were likeable, and there was more than enough to keep me occupied. I loved following Alice's journey.

This book's dynamic was definitely more intense and emotional than the previous ones. We get to see jealousy rear its ugly head, meet with some old friends, and watch how complicated Alice and Gabriel's relationship really is.

I don't want to give too much away so just read the series and thank me later 😆

As a side note, the author is super sweet and easy to talk to. She's an awesome debut author and I'm so excited to see what she comes up with next!!

This series was amazing and such a perfect conclusion to Alice’s and Gabriel story.

Each book was different aspect into Dom and Sub dynamic seen through Alice’s eyes and to novices of the BDSM world you learning with her and also feel every emotion that goes with it.

This was written beautiful it was as the scene played out so was thoughts and feelings that all followed easily. The chemistry between Alice and Gabriel and the pacing of the story it all just delicious. The author took great care and attention into the sessions played out and explained in way of showing and not as much as telling to overload the reader.

All I can say this was such amazing short series that not only delivers on kinky spice but also pulls you emotionally being invested in the characters.

Highly recommend.

Can’t wait to read more from this author.

Wow. What a beautiful growth

I am reviewing this as a review for all 6 books. What started out as very short play stories turned into quite the growth experience in Ds and power exchange. You get to see the experiences of both a novice and an experienced player lose their resolve at times and need to safeword or need help with drop. You get to witness frenzy which honestly isn't spoken about enough in BDSM. And utilizing West as a trusted friend, perfection.

I was so happy to see the conclusion end the way it did. I loved witnessing the raw submission come alive inside her as she got outside her head. I loved the passion and patience he showed to allow her to learn trust.

Beautiful.
Recommended.

I am so happy I was chosen to be a beta/arc reader for this
BDSM series because it might have been a little longer than the others but it did NOT disappoint!

I gotta admit, I was a little disappointed towards the end with Alice's choice, but the story redeemed itself with power and I am HERE FOR IT.

This chapter made me giggle and cry and just want Gabe and Alice to never end!

I'm really excited to see what Alexis Rey has in store next! I really hope I see more of West!! Maybe it's an unpopular opinion, but I LOVED him!! He's no bullsh*t, and has a particular interest in humiliation and pain!

Jute is a fantastic conclusion to a fantastic series. Alice goes down the rabbit hole at Club Wonderland and each installment further deepens her entanglement. In this final story, Alice and Gabriel’s dynamic is tested by the highest stakes they’ve encountered. Will they come out the other side intact or will their relationship be damaged beyond repair? Alexis Rey gives us an emotional, highly entertaining story with relatable characters and an authentic, incredibly intimate, portrayal of dominance and submission. A 5 star conclusion to a 5 star series.

This final novella of the Wonderland Chronicles is honestly my favorite. We are taken on a rollercoaster of emotions, but in the best way. I didn’t want the story to end and have to say goodbye to Alice and Gabriel. If you enjoy reading about the security, love, and trust that is built in this BDSM relationship, and you love steamy scenes, this is the story for you. I can’t wait to see what Alexis writes next!
