My first year of college is already off to a bad start.
My boyfriend of three years betrayed me at the end of summer party. He said I wasn't enough anymore, along with some other things that hurt to hear.
I might be socially shy at times, but I’m not stupid, II know now what was really happening.
Wanting to prove him wrong, to make him eat his words, I took my friend's suggestion and hired the Kings of the Kingston Academy Host club to bring me out of my awkward shell.
And if it makes my ex jealous, that’s a bonus.
But, it turns out, I can't afford their prices. Thankfully they take pity on me and make me a deal.
I have to work for them, do whatever they want when they want it to work off my debt and they will take me on as a client.
Only this club isn't exactly what I expected.
Declan, Preston and Grayson aren't the hosts of your typical host club. Despite what they want you to think, there's nothing innocent about them.
They are a part of something much darker and sinfully tempting behind closed doors.
And Collin, the school's guidance counselor and someone from my past, seems to be more than their teacher advisor.
They open me up to a whole new world, healing parts of my soul. They test my limits and bring me to new experiences.
I'm starting to wonder, will I ever go back to the old Sadie once I discover the vixen within?
And do the Kings want me, or is it all just a part of their job?
Who knew just how much my life would change by walking through those red and gold doors.
Boys Of Kingston Academy is a Reverse harem. This book is intended for a mature audience due to its sexu@l nature. Any BDSM in this book should not be recreated because it is not the proper practice.
It all got a bit too complicated, but at least I now know what a host club is. Small wins I guess.
So the plot follows Sadie, after she finds out her boyfriend has been cheating on her. She doesn’t really enjoy sex, it is kind of hinted that she may have been SA’ed, but it wasn’t revealed in the part I got up to. 26% btw. So because she wants to experience more, she seeks out the host club that provide conversation and gives attention to its clients. Nothing sexual though.
⚠️Spoiler Alert⚠️
How did she find out about this club? From all her girlfriends, despite the fact it’s a secret club and everyone signs NDAs. That’s confused me. Even though they aren’t prostitutes, they take her up on this deal to have sex with her and because she can’t pay their fee, she starts to work there. Getting food and drinks for them when they are with other clients.
Why do they take her up on her offer so quickly you ask … because they are all obsessed with her. *Sign*
This is where it lost me. So they all hated each other when they were younger, but there mutual love for Sadie at 14 brought they all together. They all can’t pursue her, as they have arranged marriages to girls in other rich families. It’s a weird rich person thing. It’s not even an insta-love situation at the start of the book, they are already deeply obsessed with her. I need a ‘will they, won’t they’ in a book, in this it’s too obvious.
She may also bang her teacher, but wait 👋 he is not only her teacher, he is her long lost childhood friend. Who she didn’t recognise. I don’t get it when people don’t recognise the MMC, she hasn’t seen him in 10 years, his face can’t have changed that drastically.
I had to stop the book when the teacher (who also watches over the host club… weird) found out about the sex deal and got all weird & possessive. Then his half-brother who is in the host club started called him a nonce basically, which I don’t think he is, but at the same time he is a little too involved. Eg. He is speaking to his mother about now pursuing Sadie and says shit like ‘I’m going to worship her like the queen she is’ TO HIS MUM. I find that weird.
Not for me. I need more of a build up, but I did really enjoy the first 10% and she has a great group of friends.
&& she does it again!! Alisha Williams is a beast of an author!! Those books that have you doing the happy dance because something happened or you just want too sucker punch someone.. yeah, her writing will have your feelings everywhere... but I will say that I absolutely loved that Sadie has a GREAT group of girl friends that are 100% there for her (not to mention, can I get some besties like that?!) -- && of course... that cliffhanger.. I can't wait to read book 2.
Host Club • Possessive/Obsessed Men • Academy • Friends to Lovers • Stepbrother • Reverse Harem • Spicy
This book had me in a chokehold. I don’t even know where to start. I love this author, I’m a huge fan of their work.
This book had so many twists and turns, unhinged men, a lot of spice and overall amazing plot.
I loved the characters! Sadie was great. I loved Declan & Collin. Grayson the unhinged man omg he was amazing! Preston.. well let’s hope for lots of groveling next book.
Speaking of next book I can’t wait omggg! This book was just amazing, I definitely recommend.
OMG hot hot hot so much steam then the intricate storyline told in between you can’t get a better book. The main fmc has struggled after finding out things that she wishes that she had seen them before but goes on a journey of discovering her sexuality and kinks. You’ll fall in love with the main male characters and hate them as well. All I can say bring on book two
*Why Choose *Contemporary *Multi-PoV *Academy setting *Host Club *stepbrother *student/teacher *naive FMC *possessive alphas *building harem (4) *fast burn *1/? Sooooo good! Honestly I love the men that Williams writes! They’re possessive, protective, and obsessive alphas 😍😍 and these men are no exception to that…I need me a Collin in my life 🤤 Our FMC is Sadie who has very little experience/confidence with men and so strikes up a deal with the kings of the host club to work through it…however those three students are men she’s had a connection with of some kind…Preston is the one she’s had the least interaction with as he’s a solid broody grump; there’s Declan who’s so sweet and goes out his way to help Sadie and then Grayson the flirty playboy with a secret obsession 😁 each shows Sadie a different aspect of 🌶️🔥🌶️🔥 but not only that they begin to show their feelings aswell…well except maybe Preston 😣 and then there’s the unrecognisable childhood best friend Collin who’s apparently always been a possessive beast but now he can demonstrate…not that our girl is all that receptive. Despite their growing feelings the men and Sadie live in different worlds (think rags vs riches) and the guys obligations might just catch up with 😮 and after that cliffhanger …yeah Sadie might just get broken along the way !! Need book two asap 🙏
Holy crap on a lollipop 🍭 that was 1 steamy and sinful book with some seriously yummy MMC’s🖤
From the first words of this book I was completely hooked on the story. It’s something different to what ive read before which really intrigued me. It moves at a fast pace but you can keep up with everything that is happening.
I love the FMC, she is sassy but sweet and I love her with her friendship group. That’s what really stands out for me with Alisha’s books, her female characters always have a good support system round them, whether is male or female. The banter between the group had me laughing out loud.
The MMC are sooooo freaking hot and psychotic its fabulous…. Especially as this is how I love my book boyfriends 😉 they all bringing something different to the story but they are also obsessed with their girl and those obsessions are crazy 😝 but I still love them 🖤
There is a good amount of plot and spice mixed together. The spice is on another level and very much panty melting, especially when those boys dirty talk 🥵🥵
I do feel quite a bit stabby too after some scenes in this book and I hope those involved get some very painful endings..
That ending though?!!! I literally shouted and told Alisha how dare she leave it like that 🤣🤣 I need some answers haha! I can’t wait for book 2 🖤
In true Alisha fashion, I was sucked in and all consumed from start to finish. She’s a go to reverse harem author for me, and this kickoff to a new series did not disappoint. Sadie is a sweet, down to earth woman who is beginning university, when she finds her bf has cheating on her with her biggest enemy. She’s had a rough past with some traumatic experiences, a and crappy relationship. Now she is determined to gain more experience, find out what she likes and only accept what she deserves. She has 3 men to do that for her, and her really hot professor. Grayson is easily my favorite, but I’m still dy!ng to know his secrets that haven’t yet been revealed. Preston needs some redemption, but he’s got many demons he’s living with and I see his potential. I never saw the curveball of an ending Alisha threw us. I was expecting some form of cliffhanger, but definitely not this! I need book 2 STAT! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book was HOTTT. Sadie has incredible chemistry with all 4 of the guys. The relationship with each of them is very different which I really liked. I loved how they weren't shy to tell and show Sadie how much they want and like her. Well except for one of them but he has his reasons😭.
“Never settle for anything less than what you deserve, Sadie. You’re worth it. Never let anyone tell you otherwise.” Pls these guys worship the ground she walks on🙌
What I didn't really like was how she was able to stand up to everyone but the "mean girl" I was waiting the entire book for her to just punch her. Hopefully next book 🤞🤞
That ending was definitely shocking, wasn't expecting that at all. This book definitely focused a lot on Sadie becoming more confident and leaning more about sex and what she likes and doesn't. I hope next book they are able to take it to the next step and become mkre serious even though I know the amount of drama that's gonna bring
I absolutely loved Sadies group of friends. Those girls would support each other and have each others back no matter what.
I really need the second book in this series right now! That ending got me good and I have so many unanswered questions!
Sadie finds her boyfriend cheating on her and breaks up with him immediately. She has never really been happy with him and her friends convince her to try something new. There is this club in her college called The Host Club, where people go to make “friends”. She decides to go there to make a deal with the men who run the club. She ends up having to work at the club and they help her explore her deepest desires. But what happens when she starts catching feelings for all three of them along with a long lost friend.
This book has some dark themes in it, be sure to check the TWs before you read it!
Another fabulous book from Alisha Tantalising kings is hot and steamy with four different types of men! Sadie has a lot of history with men which causes her lack of self esteem and confidence which leads her to going to the host club. Story line is easy to follow as is the norm with Alisha’s books. Declan is cute and loving Grayson is sexy and confident. Collin comes across as a little bit off putting at first due to his passion but it quickly shows it’s because how much he loves Sadie. Then we have Preston the tormented soul who is pushing Sadie away but is slowly revealing his true feelings. Sadie also has a group of girl besties who have her back and made me laugh with how they are and the things they say! Not a bad cliffhanger with this one thankfully as Alisha has a awful habit of leaving her readers in a mess while waiting for the next one to come out! Tainted hearts being the worst!!
Ugh. I wanted to like this so badly but sadly I had to dnf at like 50%. I hope I can articulate well enough why.
Pros: I love a good why choose romance and add in that all of the men are possessive, and over the top, yup I’m in.
Cons: the multiple POV’s wasn’t a turn off at first because I do enjoy books with that buttt I think it needed quite a bit of tweaking. One, I personally didn’t think that each characters personality was distinctive enough in their POV’s so I started to get confused. I think there was too much like emphasis by Collin on Sadie being his. Like the exclamation points after every sentence and his actions just bothered me. I think multiple pov novels are very hard to write and I don’t think this one was horrible but I think each personality needed more development. Lastly, Collin and Preston’s characters bothered me and I think it just came down to the writing. Preston personally doesn’t seem to have redeeming qualities and Collin is just annoying.
One of my Instagram followers recommended this one and it sounded great. The concept of it still appeals to me so I may give it another go next year.
Tantalizing Kings, book 1 of the Boys of Kingston Academy series, by Alisha Williams @alishawilliamsauthor. Alisha is a favorite author of mine! This is a reread for me since the 2nd book is coming out soon! Please read the trigger warnings!
I seriously forgot how amazing this book is! I LOVED this book about Sadie, Collin, Preston, Grayson & Declan. Tropes: RH, University, Bullying (in & outside the harem - in the harem is very light), past SA trauma, attempted SA (outside the harem), stalking by a couple of the harem members & a brutal cliffhanger!
Off the bat the story was wonky for me. There was so much left to be desired and I felt like the author had a decent concept going but couldn’t execute it.
The plot follows Sadie who finds out her boyfriend is cheating on her. The math didn’t math for me since they were together for three years and her ex always wanted sex almost daily to barely anything but they only had a sex a total of five times? Makes no sense but sure she has some weird thing about sex. She then seeks out the host club at her friends’ insistence to help her explore her sexual side. What’s really weird is all three guys take her up on this offer, supposedly since they all had/still have a crush on her since they were younger but are a pact not to do anything because of the way their rich societies are and the fact that all are already engaged to be married. There was no build up to this though and that’s what lost me. They guys have been harboring crushes in her and yet somehow avoided her and were never friends with her even though they kinda sorta were when they were younger.
Another wrench in the plot is Colin. Colin is her long lost best friend whom she didn’t even recognize after eight years apart. Collin is obsessed in a weird way. The author tries to portray it as he didn’t see her like that when she was a little girl but it still gives me the ick with how obsessed he was over Sadie since she was so little. So much so that he had to be sent away to a different school because everybody was concerned about his behavior towards her. Now I normally love an over the top possessive man, but Colin was not it. He was actually rather annoying to me with the way he just kept demanding that no one touch her but then letting the other guys touch her because Sadie said so.
The whole almost step-siblings thing that was thrown in there didn’t really make sense except to make the relationship between Sadie and Grayson be forbidden in some way.
Then the way Sadie started falling for all of them didn’t seem to flow. There was no budding connection or attraction that flowed and it almost felt like each relationship was forced just to create the story.
There wasn’t enough meat to this story for me to actually like this book. A big lack of details of each character so no one really stood out to me and I kept forgetting which guys’ POV it was because they all about felt the same

Another 5 ⭐️ series from Alisha! I swear she can do no wrong.
This series is pretty low angst compared to some of her other books. There’s actually not much that actually happens when it comes down to it. A lot of it is working up to and then figuring out a relationship with the FMC and MMCs. There’s no bullying between them - one of the MMC is a douche and treats her crappily to convince himself and everyone that he doesn’t like the FMC 🙄 There’s outside bullying, but that’s actually really mild too, even though the effect it has on the FMC is major.
I LOVED Colin and Grayson 😍 Turns out I’m ok with the stalking and surveillance, when it’s them. Lol
Declan … he was my favourite in the first book, but I feel like as soon as the FMC found out he is submissive in bed, he turned into a whiny, pathetic, indecisive whimp. Didn’t love that at all. I don’t know if it was just me, or his personality did change when he “come out”, but he just started seeming pathetic and it wasn’t attractive for me. I mean, the scene in the gazebo..he really couldn’t “decide” to insert P into V ??? She was laying open in front of him and he “doesn’t know what to do”! Come on! I don’t usually mind a submissive male, although it’s not something I’d choose, but I prefer when it’s strictly in the bedroom - not submissive in all areas of life. Even better if it’s only in the bedroom with the other guy, but the submissive male still likes to be dominate with the female, at least sometimes. Anyway, that’s just my thoughts. He had a life before the FMC and it wasn’t strictly with a Dom at the club, so he had to be able to have even just a vanilla s$x life previously … but once the FMC accepted he liked being submissive, he just gave up all pretense of being a man.
I was also surprised that I got to 50% of the 3rd book and her eating disorder still hadn’t come out and nothing much had happened. When it did happen, it was anticlimactic. It was basically nothing. Same with Tina - breaking the engagement and her treatment of Sadie, nothing really happened. I was expecting more drama and angst. He just told Dad I’m not marrying her. Yes they had a fight, but he walked out and it was done. Seems like that could have happened years ago. Tina just got suspended and disappeared. Yes she came back and there was that little scene, but it was just 1 scene and the FMC wasn’t actually hurt or anything. Just scared. I suppose I was just expecting more … more drama, danger, angst, suspense, illegal stuff?. I almost felt like Alisha was over this series by the time she wrote the 3rd book and just finished it off quickly. At 50% of the 3rd book, I felt like there could easily have been a 4th book.
Still, despite my feelings about Declan, this is still a fabulous series. I loved it. I loved the MMCs and the best friends! The first 2 books were 5 ⭐️ for me and the fourth book was a 4 ⭐️. Highly recommend.
𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰: Boys of Kingston Academy book one. This book does end on a cliffhanger.
𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰: After Sadie catches her boyfriend cheating, she enlist in the help from the Host Club at her university. They have a special skill set so she wants them to teach her to be more confident in the bedroom… to be able to please a man and know how she likes to be pleased in return. Welcome to Pleasure Class 101. 😉 However the guys running the host club are all guys she has some type of past with. From sharing sweet treats and laughs, to just sharing silent moments, the history with each guy is a bit different.
This was addictive and fast paced. We get a little bit of everything from this group of guys. Flirty, brooding, nerdy, shy, alphahole, sweet, obsessed, possessive, depraved, dirty and so so much more. Plus all these guys have a panty melting mouth full of dirty talk to go along with it. There were a few aspects within the guys stories that I didn’t expect, so I’m interested to see how those uhh “arrangements” hold up throughout the overall story.
I liked Sadie’s character. She was a bit insecure and self conscious, but she was still feisty and determined. I enjoyed watching her explore her sexuality and find herself. There’s a bunch of plot twist going on and I’m worried how much more she will have to endure to make it to the finish. It’s going to be a rollercoaster ride for sure… but that ending though…. Ughhh, not cool lady! I have so many predictions and I can’t wait to see what happens in Tormented Kings!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Actual rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 (rounded up because these men) Spice level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
So, the concept of a Host Club grabbed me. Yep, I was that nerdy kid in high school obsessed with the anime mentioned in the dedication, so as soon as I saw the trope attached to this novel, I knew I had to get my hands on it.
I loved this book so much. I love that Sadie had a history with each of the men she becomes involved in, and I love that Williams takes her time to divulge the connections. The mystery surrounding what happened to Sadie in the past, too, kept me reading. I need to know more about that - and I'm sure we'll get more answers as the series goes on.
The men are so individual in their own ways, which is what made this. So often do I read these more "teach me" books, and the love interests all blur together. But Declan, Preston, Grayson and Collin all have their own delicious twists to them, are all unique, and can see how they'll all work very well together if they just pulled their heads out of their asses - yeah, easier said than done given their societal standards, but a reader can hope, right?
The sneaky hint of the want for the relationship between D and P had me on the edge of my seat, but was a little bit sad when I found that's all it was; a hint. But with the cards somewhat on the tables, cannot wait to see how this develops as the series goes on. I'm a sucker for MM in a poly relationship.
The spice? Oh boy, was that off the charts. Grayson definitely had me in a puddle with his dirty talk (and let's not talk about what he's hiding beneath those slacks...); Declan with his super sweet needs (not saying much else cause I feel that's a mild spoiler); Collin being all "Daddy" (sigh) and Preston... damn, I needed more from that scene, not going to lie.
My heart ached for Sadie through the whole story - and for Preston, too - and I cannot wait to see where the rest of this series takes these characters!
Ugh, this is a hard one to rate. I didn't jive with the writing style at all. It was very much tell, not show, and the info dumps were so frequent that I skimmed most of the first half. I got irritated enough a few times that I almost gave up. I only kept reading because I'd seen an Insta trailer with a snippet from the book that I really wanted to read.
Sadie is one of those FMCs that you just can't help but dislike. She's a wimp who let's anyone and everyone push her around. She's devastated by finding her boyfriend cheating on her with her enemy and let's it crush her self esteem. Her friends decide the best way to help her is to send her to a group of guys who sell their services to the girls at their school.
Setting aside the entirely unbelievable plot, I'm completely flummoxed as to why these guys were so into her. They are obsessed, some in very creepy ways. They are all so enamored with her that they made a pact not to pursue her. But why?! They never once offered an explanation as to why her. Is it because she's poor? Because they spend a lot of time talking about that. I guess we're just supposed to accept that they are all obsessed with her.
I can't say I'm surprised at that ending. Of course, Sadie is now going to doubt the guys all because of a clearly evil man who is dead set on making her disappear. I can see the drama coming already. She'll doubt their feeling and run and they'll all chase after her to show her how much they love her.
Despite how many issues I had with the characters and the plot, I kept reading until the end and I do plan on reading book 2 when it's released. Mostly, it was for the steamy scenes, which were pretty hot. But I find I want to read more in the way you want to keep eating a bucket of popcorn while watching your favorite show. So I'll be checking out more from this author while I'm waiting for book 2.
This is about Sadie, Grayson, Declan, Preston and Collin. They all attend Kingston Academy, except for Collin who is a TA for one of the professors and is also a guidance counselor. Kingston Academy is an elementary, middle school, and high school, along with a college for the rich.
Sadie caught her boyfriend, Raymond, of three years cheating on her with Sadie’s bully, Tina. He cheated on her because she wouldn’t put out…Anyway, Sadie hasn’t always been confident sexually because of him. So, her friends told her to go to the Host Club, particularly Grayson, Declan and Preston, whom she’s had a crush on for years to help teach her more about sex and how to pleasure not only herself but also her partner.
My only problem with this book was the characters description. It wasn’t clear at all. Especially with their being four guys, a clear description of them is needed. I still don’t know what color Collin’s hair or eyes are. Or the color of Preston’s eyes. The guy's hair colors and eyes colors are described sporadically throughout the book and not when we’re first introduced to them.
I loved the plot of this book and the spice in this book was fire!!! My panties were on fire! Sadie has a different history with each of the guys and a different relationship with each of them, which I love! I love how Sadie is trying to regain who she was before Raymond and before this mysterious accident that happened to her. The guys each have different personalities in and outside of the bedroom and are extremely possessive of her. I enjoyed this book so much! I can’t wait to see what happens in the second book!
So, I just dived into "Tantalizing Kings," the kickoff of the Kingston Academy series, and let me tell you, I was buzzing with excitement. Sadie's college debut? Well, let's say it started with a bang—though not the good kind. Her three-year boyfriend dropped a bombshell, basically calling her inadequate in the bedroom (what a jerk!). If it were me, I'd have a few choice words and maybe some creative revenge plans. Sadie has a fierce desire to prove herself, and she's out to show her ex what he's missing; thanks to her buddies, she ends up joining the Kingston Host Club for some unconventional sexual exploration. The catch? She has to work at their exclusive club as part of the deal. Now, let's talk about the four guys in this story: Declan, Preston, Grayson, and Collin, her "guidance counsellor and stalker" (lol). The anticipation of these characters coming together kept me on the edge of my seat, especially the potential sparks between D and P. They're all so different, yet their dynamics work. I was hooked to the book from start to finish. And don't even get me started on the romantic tension. Alisha sure knows how to write sizzling relationships. My personal favorite is Grayson. Not only is he charismatic, but he's full of surprises (check out those pants!). Declan is the sweet and caring type, Collin gives off some serious "Daddy" vibes, and my heart goes out to poor Preston. I can't wait for book two to see where these characters' journeys take them. Bring on the next chapter! i cannot wait
Justice for *shh*. If you have read then you will know the name to insert.
I am a massive Alisha fan, and every time I read her books I know to expect a cliff-hanger. I have to admit my silly little heart got its hopes up as I noticed how far I was in to the book without a clear cliffy in sight. Finally, I said to myself, this is the book that I can just relax after. Of course I shouldn't have been so silly and was blindsided, did not see that coming. I am hopeful that it is just a miscommunication but I know not to expect the expected.
I lived for Sadie, another strong FMC that is not ashamed of her having desires and wanting to have some fun before life gets too serious. Sadly, I think we have all dealt with a bully whose words ring in our ears unjustifiably. I loved that Sadie was realistic when dealing with the issue, knowing that she should pay it no mind but not being afraid to admit it hurt. I really need a Colin in my life, is he obsessive? yes, but he was written so well that I wouldn't categorise him as "dark" or "morally grey" instead, he is a sweetheart. The scene when he used an....ahem....interesting weapon had me laughing my head off. My dear sweet Preston I am looking forward to seeing him open up more and overcome his demons. Declan and Grayson also cannot be overlooked but the others stole the show for me. I am really rooting for this crew to find their HEA.
What I always enjoy about Alisha's books is that she balances the story and her character development really well and this is no exception; Sadie is just such a realistic heroine; we've all been there when you take unkind words to heart and I can't wait to see more of her journey as she realises how strong she can be.
Declan is super sweet, Grayson is a charmer, Preston is ugh and in timeout, and Collin I am on the fence about as he's just on the obsessive borderline although he is definitely the most memorable and I have no doubt he loves Sadie. Tina and Raymond are just gross; I loathe both of them.
Alisha's romances are on the darker side but this one isn't super dark (although its only book one and there is definitely a dark moment mentioned from the past). However, the reason this book stood out for me though was that I absolutely loved the lighter moments. Collin and his weapon of choice and Emma popping up like a ninja genuinely made me laugh. I adored Sadie's girl gang (I really hope they get involved with an epic revenge plan) and I am 100% here for Mia and Alice being end game.
My interpretation of the star system; 3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again 4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series 5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely and I have added all the authors works to my TBR!
I would like it more if there was more dimension to the characters and their relationship. It felt very easy; all the boys (all four of them, mind you) are literally obsessed with this girl, despite barely speaking to her for years (or, like one, having not even seen her in 10 years). I would almost be okay with this, but Sadie is boring af. Her whole personality is being bullied by Tina, which makes her insecure, or drinking with her overly share-y friends at a party, when she doesn't even like parties (supposedly).
Tina got on my ever loving nerve, and the cliffhanger makes me annoyed more than interested. It's very dependent on assumptions and lies designed to push her away from the other people. Between this and Sadie's apparent ignorance to the "rich people messed up world" even though she's literally grown up in the midst of it and Sadie's whole sex-learning thing, it just makes her seem ignorant. Maybe even dumb. That sounds terrible because I'm sure the author wants Sadie to be representative and inclusive and be a character we sympathize with, buuuuuut she's just annoying.
That makes Collin creepy. I really couldn't vibe with him. The overly domineering "SHE'S MINE" did not do it for me. The other boys are very tropey and stereotyped and I don't care about them. The friends are fine, but seem a little too comedic.
idk I think there's a lot of potential, but ultimately lacks the thing that gives a story some oomph
Host club hotties. I wasn't expecting to like a dark host club story as much as I did. I liked Sadie. I thought that she might be a little to naive, but a generally nice, college freshman. I felt like there needed to be more focus on Sadie's past traumas including losing Collin, getting bullied, making her new friends, partying, getting sick, hospital visits, her eating disorder, loneliness, her poor choice in boyfriends and semi absentee parents. For such a young character she's carrying a heavy load. I found the culture of arranged marriages very skull and bones and I hope that's explored more in the next book. I like the dynamics in the friend group and I want to see more of it on page because those girls are ride or die. I found th history of the harem interesting, it reminded me a little bit of the King's of Grove academy by Katie May in that the boys were aware of each other and had to work and build on a friendship with each other rather than it develop naturally over the course of the adolescence. Before making a pact to keep the girl safe and not persue her. I wasn't sure about the obsessive stalker behaviour of the harem boys but I get that as the story progresses and the characters develop that will probably change too. Overall the spicy but were outstanding and the moody boys are chefs kiss. Check TW because some of the on page topics are a little heavy.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
Buckle up and dive right into this book. I was hooked and couldn't stop reading. This is the story of Sadie and her men. She is a girl who has a lot of experience in the men department. But the last man she was with broke her heart at the end of the school year party. Now she is out for revenge in a way. However no matter how confident she might appear, her experiences with men have left her with a lack of confidence and self esteem. Now she is off to the host club and she never expects to meet Grayson, Collin, and Preston. Each guy offers something different and that she needs. Garyson brings confidence and he is really hot. Collin is the guy you would think didn't really care about anything but he really is hooked on Sadie and that will end up shining through. Preston is the tormented soul of the group and he loves to push Sadie away. But ever so slowly he is showing his true feelings. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the group of girl friends that Sadie has.. They have her back no matter what and these girls will have you laughing so many times. I loved them and their dynamic. It really was great to see that she had such amazing friendships and some smoking hot men that just want to love her.
I have enjoyed all the books of Alisha's that I have read, and this one is no different. Tantalizing Kings was amazing. It sucked me in from the start and kept me on the hook through the whole thing.
I'm personally not a huge fan of reading about any of the MMCs messing around after meeting and being in the life (but NOT in a relationship) of the FMC (I know double standard, but hey, that's why I read RH lol), so it takes a really good book to keep me completely in it and invested in the characters. This book not only achieved that, but I am so ready for more! I am so excited for what is to come for Sadie and her men's characters and getting rid of quite a few crappy ones. Lol
There is a little bit of everything in this one. Host club, crappy elite relatives, arranged marriages within the elite, hilarious moments, tons of drama, delicious spicy scenes with the guys, BDSM club, awesome friends, stepbother/friends to lovers romance, obsessive/possesive men, and can't forget the jealous trashy girl who passes her hoo ha out like candy on Halloween that slu+ shames the FMC.
110% recommend giving this one a read! My only complaint is having to wait for more. 🙂
Seppy's 5+ Review: OMG, this is the start of an amazing series. I am hooked and need more. Sadie's boyfriend Raymond cheats on her with her bully. So she wants to hire the Host Club to teach her about sex and pleasure. , Grayson, Declan, and Preston attend Kingston Academy but Collin is a TA for one of the professors and is also a guidance counselor. I love Sadie, she can be sassy but also sweet. she has a best friend group who are a great support system for her. These guys have had a crush on Sadie since they were kids; what happens when they get a taste? I loved this one so much. It is beyond 5 stars. The sexy times are hot and amazing. I want an RH with all these guys for Sadie. I love Collin and his obessive craziness over Sadie. I do want to stabby certain people. I read it cover to cover and couldn't get enough. Then that cliffhanger of and ending that had me flipping to see if there was something else because that can't be how it ends, right? OMG, I need more like now! There is so much I love about this book and can't say too much to spoil anything for you. Please one-click this one today! I can’t wait for Book 2
I loved this story and can’t wait to see where it goes. Seeing the different relationships and interactions she had with each of the boys was amazing and the fact that it wasn’t all the same. This is a very spicy book and I love that! The whole time I was reading it I was thinking this was giving darker, sexier Ouran High Host Club vibes and I was LOVING it!!!! (if you grew up obsessed with that anime like I was lol) With what she went through with her ex it’s understandable she wants to reclaim her body and gain that empowerment. A lot of times with spicy scenes in books it can be hard to make them feel empowering for the fmc but Alisha did really good job with that. I did think it was hilarious that her friends talked her into going to the host club and asking them for that. But it also I think shows the type of friendship they have and I loved the relationship she had with her friends, sometimes with RH any outside friendships can get neglected but that wasn’t the case with this story. That ending though!!! I don’t want to have to wait lol I want to be able to read the next one cause I don’t know how they can come back from that.

Phew!! This was SPICCYYYYYYY. I fell in love with Alisha Williams’ writing with the Black Venom Crew, and I was thrilled to have a chance at a new series. Hold on to your p@nties and grab a fresh pair while you’re at it: you’re gonna get soaked.
This is a high high spice, fast burn, RH set in the wealthy world of Kingston Academy. Sadie is our lovely FMC, the daughter of the head groundskeeper. Think rich privileged boys and semi-poor girl. Grayson, Declan and Preston are her initial love interests, and when Collin enters the picture, my heart combusted.
These 4 guys are a combo of cinnamon roll, alphahole, OTT possessive/jealous, obsessed, stalker, slight age gap, voyeur, Exhibitionist, dom and sub. And it’s such a deliciously tantalizing mix 🤤🤤😏😏
Being less seggsually adventurous than her men, Sadie learns a LOT about her wants and needs yet struggles with self-consciousness and some bullying from a competing female. Sadies friends, however, are a great supporting cast, and I loved her girl group so so much.
This was a fun, fast, and super spicy read that you will not regret!
This book blew my freaking mind! I was on edge the whole book, never knowing what to expect next! I loved it! I am never disappointed with Alisha writing and I am dying for more!
I love the push and pull this story has with the forbidden fruit vibes! Sadie wasn’t meant to be apart of their world, she was meant to keep her distance but everything changes after she breaks up with her bf. She now wants to explore and build her confidence, and her friends know just where to go. The Host Club. But the hosts she has a past and connections with, Preston, Grayson, and Declan. She makes them an offer they don’t want to refuse.
On top of that, Collin, her childhood friend that comes back and he is not only a school counselor but also connected to Host Club. And he has eyes for only Sadie and he won’t let anything get in his way!
This book, I swear will forever live on in my head! That spice and the dirty talk is top notch fire, and I love the BDSM incorporated into this book as well. Then there’s the cliffhanger that was absolutely heart wrenching! I knew something was coming but that bomb that was dropped has my jaw dropping as well!
