Tracy Lorraine is a M/F and M/M contemporary romance author. Tracy has just turned thirty and lives in a cute Cotswold village in England with her husband, baby girl and lovable but slightly crazy dog. Having always been a bookaholic with her head stuck in her Kindle Tracy decided to try her hand at a story idea she dreamt up and hasn’t looked back since.
We start off almost right where we ended. We are in the aftermath of Nico's destruction.
I said it in my review of Corrupt Knight, and I am going to say it again...The Chemistry between Bri and Nico is EXPLOSIVE. Even when they hate each other their pull to one another cannot be denied.
I really enjoyed how much Nico grew as a character in this book. He really did go from full on toxic alphahole to learning that his actions and choices have large wide sweeping effects. And those effects aren't always in his favor and just end up causing more loss. I also love how Brianna decided to finally put her foot down and stand up for herself.
I am not sharing any spoilers because a lot happens here and BRUH....that cliffy. I am going to be "patiently" waiting on book 3 Corrupt Union lol.
I swear this series just keeps getting better and better! Every book I say is my favorite or the couple is my favorite but it’s just that damn good! I loved seeing Nico redeem himself this was just a fantastic read! I can’t wait for the next book!
O.M.G….that cliffhanger is slaying me as I really didn’t want to wait for Corrupt Union!! Corrupt Princess has all of my favorite elements and all the feels which I am happy to say I love! I could not stop reading. I had sooo many other things that I should have been doing but could not stop until you read the whole book. I am praying that Corrupt Union will be released sooner rather than later. Bri and Nico have slowly started to overcome some of their issues and challenges thrown there way and then the scene with the cliffhanger happened. If you have read the series and the beginning of the trilogy then you will love Corrupt Princess. If you have not then I highly suggest that you start with Wicked Knight!! Or if you don’t want to read the whole series then at least read the beginning of the Corrupt Trilogy!! Readers will not be disappointed. Tracy Lorraine, author, is one of my favorite authors and the Corrupt Trilogy is the prime example why. It is filled with some many of my favorite elements, is sooo sooo hot🔥 and has all the feels. Tracy always delivers original and captivating books even when the series is a long one (which some authors can’t pull off without making it seem like the same old then on repeat). I am confident in that Tracy will not disappoint on any of her books. I highly recommend Corrupt Princess, Knights Ridge Empire series, Corrupt Trilogy, and Tracy Lorraine as an author!! Happy Reading!!
I received a copy of this arc in exchange for my honest review. This is book 2 in the Corrupt trilogy. Like in book 1, I plowed through this one in a matter of hours. This was so so good, I was barely able to put it down ! This continues with Nico and Brianna’s story. The push and pull between the two of them was torturous! The chemistry and attraction between the two is so thick I wanted to smack the two of them to get it together and figure their sh*t out! As much as they say they hate one another, what they feel for another is something fierce and terrifies the both of them. I was finally able to take a breather towards the end of the book, but that final page knocked me on my a*s. That was the cliffhanger all of cliffhangers! I can not wait 2 more weeks for the finale of this trilogy! I am absolutely obsessed with this series. Tracy’s style of writing is alluring and addicting. She knows how to draw you in from the first page. The character development in this book had so much growth. Nico’s character faced some hard truths from his behavior and it’s consequences, and I was so glad to see him move forward in the right direction. Brianna remains strong, while the spot in her heart for Nico grows. I can not wait for more of these two, I don’t think I will ever get enough. These two are explosive together ! 5 ⭐️
Let me start out by saying, Corrupt Princess is the second book in Nico & Bri's journey, so YOU MUST READ Corrupt Knight (Book 1) FIRST, and if I'm being honest, you just need to read this whole series in order as it makes it that much better (plus it's a delightful bonus when we get to see the previous character again). Poor Bri, it's always the heroine who gets the worst of the fallout, but that doesn't mean that I didn't want them to both get it together, it just means that Nico, like previous heroes in this series, really mucked it all up in my eyes LOL! I want them to be together, their chemistry makes it impossible for them to stay away from each other, and yet, matters of the heart really get complicated don't they because who loves emotional pain?! Every time I pick up a Tracy Lorraine book, I know I'm down for the count until I finish it all, and so when I had these first two books in front of me, I devoured them both in one day, so seriously, this author is brilliantly talented, and HIGHLY addictive. Once again, there's a cliffhanger ending, and this time, I'm dying inside so the impatient wait begins! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Nico’s self-destructive behavior have escalated, and the end result is not easy to repair. He is forced to face that effect his actions have had on Bri’s life, and he has some amends to make however she isn’t about to just forgive and forget everything he has said and done.
Bri regrets ever letting Nico into her life and after the events that have unfolded, she believes the best decision is to distance herself from him. She doesn’t trust him and isn’t certain she will ever be able to again however the angst begins when she realizes that there is much more to Nico than she has seen so far.
The characters are captivating as they take us on a suspenseful and emotional journey that leads up to a cliff hanger that leaves us wondering what the future holds for this couple.
The back and forth between Nico and Siren is off the charts, intense and hot. Their chemistry just seems to grow more and more as this story progresses. I love how well Siren handles herself, holds her ground and handles Nico in the process.
The ups and down and twists and turns throughout this book and the last will keep you reeling… and reading! And I thought the cliffhanger at the end of the last book was intense… I really have no idea where this is going!!!
“You’re mine. You can fight, scream, kick, and punch all you like. But I’ll take it all. Because you’re it for me… Every defiant, sexy, corrupt inch of you."
"He’s like fucking kryptonite."
"Dangerous. Formidable. Gorgeous. And all mine, if I want him. Although, wanting him isn’t really in question here. I’ve wanted him since the first night I laid eyes on him. Who wouldn’t? He’s hot as hell."
Wow, just wow I loved how this book started. I was on the edge of my seat for so long wanting the answers to so many of my questions. This book was more emotional for both Nico and Siren.
Nico finally got the wake-up call he needed to finally open his heart to more with his Siren.
Our lovely leading lady had a lot of emotional and physical damage to work through as well as slowly accepting not only how she feels about Nico but the chosen family she has become a part of. She still has a lot of growing to do as well as lowering her walls to let her new family in.
Man, that cliffhanger what the heck, I can't wait to see where we will go from there.
I don't want to give too much away with this one, so I am going to keep my review short and simple for now!
I absolutely LOVED this book! The wake-up call Nico got was so needed, and boy did he get it. Not a single person takes it easy on Nico in this book, not his sister or friends, and definitely not Bri. You almost, ALMOST, feel bad for him because you can tell he is really just in a rough place.
Bri is such an amazing character and edition to the girls. You really get to see how strong her character is in this book, and how she is tired of letting Nico walk all over her.
There is A LOT of action in this story that is going to keep you on your toes and the theories spinning. Trust me, I have mine (also second guessing myself because does Tracy ever do what we expect?!)
The smut continues to be out of this world hot and leaves you wanting to read it over and over! Nico may have a poor attitude but he sure does know how to deliver the pleasure!!
I can't wait to see what happens next and finally get some much needed answers after that cliff hanger!
After reading Corrupt Knight and watching the implosion of Nico and Bri I knew that it would be a lot of hard work for them to even be able to be around each other. Nico knows he messed up and at first, he can’t remember, but Bri remembers it all and she is not planning on letting him slide with his actions. Nico isn’t sure where he stands with his feelings towards Bri, but he knows no matter what he is wanting he must work hard to get back in her good graces. As these two works through the mess, they both have made with their relationship we get to see the other characters we love and all their meddling ways to help each other out. I loved the work they both put into figuring their situation out and where it was headed, but as the second part of a trilogy we all know it will leave us hanging and man I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Loving Brianna and Nico's story! I really am enjoying finally getting in Nico's head. Brianna is a bit frustrating at times bur hopefully she gets the found family aspect. Eager for more!
Corrupt Princess is book two in the Corrupt trilogy and book fourteen in the Knights Ridge Empire series.
So thankful for the double release meaning I could dive straight into this book after the cliffhanger of Corrupt Knight. But don't think you'll be getting answers so quickly. Tracy definitely makes us work for it in this book, but its absolutely worth the wait. Bri and Nico's journey was never going to be and easy one with the Family and the life they live. We have everything you'd expect from a Knights Ridge Empire book; action, smut and a dose of mystery. This was definitely another binge read! I'm very much in need of Corrupt Union, like now please and thank you!
Holy crap Nico and Bri's story just got a whole lot crazier and better!! 5 stars is not enough. This would is like no other and Tracy is a queen! I think Nico and Bri are gonna throw Theo and Emmie out of the top spot of my favorite ! So many twist and turns! And the spice is chefs kiss .
Damn! I love Nico & Bri, & think they are perfect, but I wish they’d just get their shit together. In the bedroom, they’re off the charts hot. I was glad to see his friends speak up & tell him he needs to get his act together. He needed that. This book was more emotional than Corrupt King, we get some answers, but we also get alot of angst. They both have their own issues to get through before they get their HEA. But I know they will, I am just so love w/this couple! As soon as I finished the last I immediately dove into this one & couldn’t put it down! Now I’m needing the next one, because I need all the final answers- essentially after yet another cliffhanger!
Review f/second time reading…
Finished book 2- again before I start the last book, & it was better the second time I think!! Nico finally got his wake up call after the cliffhanger of book 1, & now it’s Bri’s turn to make him suffer! One thing I love about this entire series is seeing all the characters active in each book! The best thing about this book… definitely watching Nico grovel for forgiveness. I love him & Bri & can’t wait to start book 3- right now!
Gah! What a wake up call for Nico, let’s almost kill the girl he doesn’t want to admit he loves and then lay it all out there and smoother her with his love! 😂 Just as well Bri feels the same way about him, she needed a bit longer to get her head around it. These two didn’t really surface for much air whilst rediscovering each other and declaring their love, but then, not content with a happy ending, Tracy Lorraine goes and gives us another nail biting cliff hanger and a whole lot of more questions. Oh my God the suspense it killing me.
*I received ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.
OMG! OMG! OMG! Holly... all the saints and I don't know what more... This cliffhanger was done just so masterly mean without a second thought from the author and meant to leave us hanging like idiots, needing our next dose, right f***ing now! I can't describe how I felt after I read the last two phrases in the last chapter. It left me speechless breaking all my theories, ideas and expectations of what'll happen in the last book. I loved it how hard Brianna did it for Nico and he had to grovel a bit to take in her good graces. Well done, girl! xD
Going backwards and with the task at hand, my review which as usually will be quiet emotional. The sequel was written so well and all the scenes were described at the perfect point. The outcome we could think we'd find between the pages is no more than just more questions which answer we'll get in the last book. Bri and Nico's story follows after the accident and everything that changes between them. We are no closer to who's giving the intel to the Italians nor who's the leak in the Family. I utterly fell for Nico's development/his character and how cute he was. Ok, probably, cute is not the correct word but he's sweet when he wants to be. xD His change of mind and growing up as his next phase was something I enjoyed very much.
"He's like a fucking kryptonite. I don't want him. Most of the time I can't stand him. Yet my body speaks to his like no other I've ever met."
Knight's Ridge world is so incredibly built up and the intricate stories of each character are perfectly shown to the readers. I was able to (as always with each Tracy's book) get so close to everyone in the books, it made me in a way, live through them and feel all their struggles and emotions. I loved all the banter, the boys and girls moments (separated and combined), the action they got themselves into and the twists we observed.
I have so many theories right now, like who Brianna is? Who's her dad? Who's the intel helping to the Italians since it must someone with a rank in the Family and close enough to Damien, Stefanos and Galen (aside from the young generation).
Nico made me fully enjoy his alpha asshole demeanour, the vulnerability he showed us at times and how possessive/obsessive he is. Bri's personality is the one of a strong, independent woman who doesn't permit anyone to guide her or tell her what to do. Her fight was freaking incredible making Nico crazy all the time. xD
"No arguing, Brianna. You're mine. I know it. You know it. And it's about time the rest of the world did."
Prepare yourselves for the cliffhanger of this book, because without a doubt is worse than the one in the first book. I got a whiplash, lived through a 200km/h rollercoaster and was left with more questions because of the twists and secrets waiting to be revealed.
Nico really impressed me in this book, much more than the first. The story picks up just where we left off at the cliffhanger so he’s a hot mess but he gets better. It doesn’t happen instantly but he’s finally coming out of the fog that’s shrouded him since grief set in, with a lot of help from Jocelyn. She’s able to do something for him that nobody else can and it made a world of difference not only for Nico but also for everyone around him.
He regrets the way he’s treated Bri, neglected his sister and turned his back on the family. He knows he’s been completely self-absorbed since that night and he wants to do better. Determined to change, he wants to prove to his Siren that he’s worthy, but it’s an uphill battle, as she’s not inclined to give him another chance after everything. With Bri staying away, Nico has an epiphany and realizes that she’s so much more than he ever wanted to admit. He’s been hiding from his feelings for so long but he’s forcing himself to face them now, no matter how shocking it may be – and it’s pretty shocking for tough-guy Nico who doesn’t let anyone in and needs no one, when he realizes he needs her.
I don’t want to give anything away, so I’ll only say the cliffy is painful, but the wait’s thankfully quite short, as the last book in the trilogy is due at the end of the month. Don’t get me wrong, even three weeks is rough, but it could be worse. Now this last bit will sound cryptic if you haven’t read Corrupt Knight or this book, but if anyone would like to privately theorize on what’s going on with Alex, please contact me because I’m dying to discuss this endlessly.
This is the second book in Nico & Brianna's Corrupt Trilogy, within the Knight's Ridge Empire series. Best read in order.
Continuing from where CORRUPT KNIGHT ended.
At first waking up in hospital, Nico hasn't got a clue how or why he's there. What did he do? Why are Calli and Jodie hostile towards him? Now he knows, he can't believe it. He'd never physically hurt Brianna, but seeing her lying there in a hospital bed, he'll do anything to make it up to her, grovelling if he has to. Is this the wake up call that he needs?
Brianna wants nothing to do with Nico after what happened. He's persistant to get her to forgive him. He's realising that he wants her around in a more exclusively, which scares him something terrible. They need to admit their feelings to one another. Will they?
Brianna has always looked out for herself, not needing or wanting a man to depend on. Nico's never felt this way before. They're both lowering and beginning to show their vulnerabilities. Brianna still feels like she doesn't belong, they've accepted her into the family, it helps with being Jodie's family. She fits in with the girls. Why can't she see that?
The Italians are still a threat. Hopefully giving them false information will flush out the rat in their ranks. Is there someone else lurking in the background?
Remember Little Rhea, Theo's little sister? Well, she's now 15, and like a little ninja mouse, sneaking around, knowing things she's not meant to. She's a hoot and a half.
We'll find out shortly in CORRUPT UNION, coming soon.
Tropes: dark mafia romance, forbidden, enemies-to-lovers
Brianna learned a long time ago that she could only rely on herself. She'd always been happier with one-night stands and no promises. Then Nico crashed into her life and heart, leaving destruction in his wake. He's the only man that ever left her wanting more. He remains a temptation even though she goes out of her way to steer clear. He seemed determined to screw up her life, color her reputation and corrupt her one dream. His behavior is beginning to cause her whiplash. He'll have to get seriously creative if he plans to win his way back into her heart. As of now, he doesn't deserve another chance.
Another exciting read in this series. Nico really showed growth with his determination to improve and be someone worthy of his siren. The plot kept me following along with as few amount of breaks as possible. Looking forward to the last book of this trilogy. Highly recommend this read as well. This is my honest opinion, freely given.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
I learned from a very young age that the only person I could count on was myself. For years I've been content with meaningless one-night stands and zero promises for tomorrow. I had a good thing going , until he crashed his way into my life...and heart, and wrecked them both. Nico Cirillo. the bad boy mafia prince and the one man who's ever left me craving more. Not that I'll admit that. And now, he's not only a mistake I've made time and time again. Taunting me. Tempting me. Doing everything in his power to screw up my life, tarnish my reputation, and corrupt the only dream I've ever had. But while I'm pushing as hard as I can to keep him away, his reckless decisions and hot-headed behavior have forced him to reconsider. His U-turn is enough to give me whiplash, but it's nowhere near enough for me to lower my walls and let him in. To give him a chance he doesn't deserve. It's going to take more than a bit of grovelling after all the ways he's hurt me, even if it is on his knees.
This book starts off with a bang and holds you captive to the very end. You will be on the edge of your seat more than you are fully in it. You are about to get the answers to the questions that you have had and I can't really talk about the book much for fear of giving something away. Watching Nico open his heart for his Siren was a beautiful thing. Siren though has a lot of emotional and physical damage that she has to work through. She also has to slowly accept how she feels about Nico but also the chosen family she has become a part of. She still has a lot of work to do in letting her walls down and the new family she has chosen in. This too ends in a cliffhanger and I need the next book in my hands right now.
Corrupt princess ( Corrupt trilogy#2) by @tracy_lorraine_author ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/4
I just started book after finishing the first. This book continues Nico and Brianna'a story. Tracy knows how to keep everyone and I'm really thankful for the double release. In this Nico and Brianna's story just got more crazier. Nico was really a alpha-hole but he got his wake call and thank God 😩 I love how no one makes it easy for him, he is made to work for it. I love when someone makes a mistake and he/she is made to work for it sometimes and not just forgiven after everything they have done. Nico and Brianna are same they were both interested in just hooking up and not any kind of relationship. My heart just bled for them and the amount of tear just flowed 🤧😭 The growth of the character and them healing from their past was just perfect 🤧This book was so emotional. I loved seeing Nico moving in the right direction. Brianna was so fierce and remains strong was just admirable. She also has her insecurites. They both have their issues they have to work through. They both are just perfect for each other. We get some answer in this book, then get more question. This book just has so much in I can't even explain everything y'all just have to read this book❤️
• “You’re mine. You can fight, scream, kick, and punch all you like. But I’ll take it all. Because you’re it for me… Every defiant, sexy, corrupt inch of you."
AND ANOTHER CLIFFHANGER!! I can't wait to read Corrupt union.
🖤 Corrupt Princess 🖤 By Tracy Lorraine Trope: A dark Mafia Romance Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Feelings: ❤️ ⅘ 🌶 5/5 ☠️ 4/5
Out of the darkness
Fantastic way of turning the tables. After the shocking terrible cliffhanger of book one things are slowly turning around. Where Nico reconsiders his latest actions and decisions, Brianna sees them as a confirmation for her thoughts. Not rely on others, not getting attached to a man and definitely not let herself be treated badly.
“I’m not your babe, your siren, your anything.”
So she pulls her walls higher than ever and pushes Nico harder away than she ever tried. But she didn’t see it coming. His new side, him accepting his feelings and definitely not his persistence. A game of push and pull starts and the winner isn’t easy to consider. But with the gang always nearby, a new family formed and a war in the darkness, some lines are made to get blurred. Then suddenly it seems that Nico gets his chance to come out of his darkness, only to notice he wasn't there anymore and the reason is other than he thought it would be.
She needs me, and I fully intend on being everything and more than she thinks she requires.
And Brianna finds herself in the middle of something where she has to make a decision. Embracing the new or maybe staying behind, putting her walls down again is a risk, but maybe it is worth it in the end. But a groveling Nico is a sight for sore eyes.
If the first book was extraordinary then this is… I am just so speechless. Oh! Nico can you just please accept you can't live a day or rather an hour without Brianna. You need your Siren, man.
I love how Jocelyn (His Dear Nanny) tries to set him up with her Niece. That is something I didn't expect from Jocelyn but yeah I love her…
I love how one of my favorite scene (Nico encountering with Brianna in the washroom and asking her, "You've been sitting out there with him like this" I just loved his possessiveness) which was in Brianna's POV in CORRUPT KNIGHT coming again in CORRUPT PRINCESS as Nico's POV. I was just trying to find that very particular scene from his point of view from the moment I read that. Not to forget that scene is just superb hot in both of their Point Of View and I lost count on how many times I read it. 🤣
Calli's Idea of Theo and Emmie having a baby girl… oh if only the Author writes a second generation story for this series then please let it be a girl for them. I really wanna see Theo one day giving all his power to his baby girl. Woah 😻
Definitely the last message in the end of this book from Brianna just killed me… why are you SORRY, Bro? Just don't leave Nico.
I just need CORRUPT UNION right now. Just can't wait.
Even if I close my eyes now, all I can see is Nico taking Brianna in his embrace. The author is truly talented to make us read without skipping a word in her books.
Thank you so much for this ARC @tracy_lorraine_author
Corrupt Princess slots in as the 14th novel in theKnight's Ridge Empire series and the 2nd novel in theCorrupt Trilogy.
This book picks right up where we were left dangling off a cliff in Corrupt Knight and tucks us under it's arm and runs with us like we're a football in play.
Nico has a huge wake-up call shoved in his face. I *almost* felt sorry for him because absolutely not one person gives him an inch in this book. He had it coming, trust me, but I hate seeing someone get beaten down repeatedly even if they did deserve it initially.
I'm all for Bri pulling herself up by the boot straps and refusing to be Nico's doormat. She continues to give me hope with her resiliency and awesomeness.
Not a clue where this trilogy is going, but once again we are left precariously dangling off a cliff. Hopefully we won't have to wait long for Corrupt Union
Always check the TW/CW: 💥bullying 💥grief/parental loss
Anywho! Time to wrap this up with the goodies: Read: 4🌟🌟🌟🌟 Spice: 4 🌶🌶🌶🌶 CLIFFHANGER
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
After such a gasping ending to Corrupt Knight, I was pleased to see Corrupt Princess arrive on my kindle. I’ve been lucky to be chosen to receive an arc copy of this book for my review. I am enjoying this high school bully series, a one night stand becomes something more. Nico is a bad boy, learning to become the mafia underdog. He makes Bri’s life hell, wants to stain her reputation but he sees something in his Siren. But enough is enough, she’s becoming a stronger character and won’t stand for his destruction. Does Nico get a shake up? Another ending that has me pulling my hair out waiting for the last book to be released, Corrupt Union. Now hurry up so I can get closure and find out what happens next.
I'm a bit late to the game and joining this series now but holy hell why have I waited so long?!?!?!?
You will need to read Corrupt Knight first so make sure you do that. I was gripped from beginning to the end well after that CLIFFHANGER I want the next one NOW.
Nico is spiralling and more broken then the first part but you can't help but be drawn to him. The relationship between Bri and Nico is intense with there being that fine line between love and hate.
This one is raw, gritty and the complete emotional overload, consequences of actions are faced, relationships are tested and there is so much steam making this one hell of a page turner.
I was gifted a copy of this book from the Author. This is my honest opinion
After Corrupt Knight i needed to know what all was going to happen next with Nico and his Siren, Brianna. I started looking forward to this second installment right away and picked it up as soon as i could. I got right back into the Corrupt Trilogy fast. I so enjoyed this second installment!
Brianna and Nico's journey continues! After everything that happened in book one, i didn't know what all to expect next with these two. My heart was racing right from the get go and feeling so many things alongside Brianna and Nico quickly into this second book. Can they tackle everything and let each other in? or were they doomed from the start?
I was so glad to get more of this story! Once again, Brianna and Nico had me going through such a range of emotions with them. I wasn't sure how they'd handle all the stuff between them as well as in their lives. Brianna and Nico continue to keep me on my toes.
With Corrupt Princess, Ms.Lorraine has created such a good and dark read that pulled me in and made me feel so much! I can't wait to find out what happens next in the third installment, Corrupt Union!
*I volunteered to read and review a copy of this book from Wildfire Marketing Solutions / the author*
This is the second book in Nico and Brianna’s story and it basically picks up where the first one left us. Their story is like one huge emotional rollercoaster but no matter how many ups and downs there are to their love hate relationship these two are simply perfect for each other and their chemistry is always going to be hot and intense.
Both Nico and Brianna do some serious character growth in this book. Nico by actually realizing his actions have consequences and Brianna by actually standing up for herself to him and letting him know she’s not going to put up with it anymore. Their whole dynamic changed in this one and had some definite healing happening too. These two’s story just keeps getting better and better and we also get to see some of the past couples and how close they are in the family.
This one had a lot of twist and turns and some definite action. This book ends on a definite cliffy and I can’t wait to find out what happens next for Brianna and Nico. I absolutely love these two and can’t wait to see them get a HEA. Highly recommend this book and trilogy.
