I’m just trying to survive.
I lost my job,
Lost my last fight in the ring,
And now I’m going to lose my apartment.
While I’m contemplating how to keep my life going,
A giant man slides into my passenger seat and tells me to drive.
I don’t trust men,
But this one works to keep me safe.
Even when I threaten him.
He tells me to call him if I need him.

As the enforcer for the club, I take care of things.
I also tend to get in trouble often, but it’s all in fun.
When I find myself in a little bit of a tough spot,
I jump in the first fast car I find.
A beautiful girl being behind the wheel is just a perk.
She is NOT welcoming to me,
And how exciting is this fearless little creature?
I think I’m falling in love within the first few minutes.
I have to track her down again to give her my number.
She says she won’t need me.
Until she does.

And I understand.
