Te Marama - the Moon, is a children's book about the Indigenous Lunar Calendar of the Maori people of New Zealand. Written in both the indigenous Maori language and in English, the book walks through the 8 main phases of the moon cycle to explain the emotions and feelings commonly associated with these phases and how they may affect children. It is written in a playful manner with beautiful illustrations for children and their family to become familiar with the different lunar phases, from a traditional indigenous lens.
