Stormweaver #0.5

Sharksinger

Rate this book
Hannik's dreams have been devastatingly put on hold.
All she’s ever wanted is to hone her skills and be accepted into the elite Order of Webdancers, the guardians of Primae IV who patrol its remote wilderness to ensure that the planet's powerful resonance is undisturbed by human activity.

That exciting career isn’t going to happen for Hannik. Not unless she can extricate herself from a ruthless gang war, prove she’s not a criminal drug dealer, protect her family and track down the sinister cabal plotting to overthrow the government.

Well, she did get one lucky break. Getting shot. And then being rescued by the gorgeous Severin and his contacts in the secret service. Maybe this has given her the chance she needs. Maybe now she can use her already impressive resonance-skills in navigation, summoning and combat to foil the plot and prove her innocence. As well as rescuing her sister and her precious wildcat kittens.

And then… she discovers she's about to join the shark-team and ride into a deadly battle.
Hm.

Sharksinger is the prequel to Stormweaver, the new science-fantasy epic from Jay Aspen.
Perfect for fans of Avatar, Dune, and the Broken Earth series!

Hi, thanks for visiting my page. I’m Jay, a sci-fi, thriller and occasional fantasy author from the wild Welsh borders!
I love weaving my (sometimes hair-raising) experiences of extreme sports into my stories as well as painting scenes from my travels into both contemporary and imagined worlds.
When I’m reading, I find the blend of fast-paced plots and interesting, compelling characters is what keeps the pages turning – so that is how I like to write.
I hope you’ll love my stories – there are more of them due out this year!

Read this a while back and forgot to add my review. Really like the premise of this book, interesting ideas, detailed world (that sounds super cool) and lots of action.
