H.I.M.- Hortenzia Ilona Moscato was born and raised in the suburbs of Connecticut where she still resides today with her husband Jerry and son Kainen. Although relatively new to the arena of horror writing she has been an avid artisan of ceramic sculpture, mosaic’s and silver jewelry to name just a few for over twenty years. Hortenzia or Tenzi as she is known as to her friends and family is the first generation in the US of Hungarian emigrant parents with Hungarian being her first language before learning English. Due to the length and complication most have in pronouncing her name she prefers to publish under her initials for simplification. She considers herself a bookworm of all types of fiction but prefers horror and murder mysteries. H.I.M. has written two novels, Vampires’ Song and book two in the series, The Sound of Blood which are both available on Amazon in paperback and as E-books which she classifies as hardcore horror rather than romance horror that many vampire novels are based on. She also has some upcoming short stories, Finger Sandwiches in the Gorefications II Anthology set to be released late 2013 as well as The Price of Blood in the Suffer Eternal III Anthology through Horrified Press set to be released in Autumn 2013 and Tools of Destruction in the Serial Killer Tres Tria Anthology through James Ward Kirk fiction also set for release in 2013 and Prey for the Devil for the Dark in the Limelight Anthology through Horrified Press to be released in early spring of 2014.
