After struggling with infertility for years and being betrayed by her lover, Ella finally decides to have a baby on her own. However everything goes wrong when she gets inseminated with the sperm of intimidating billionaire Dominic Sinclair. All of a sudden her life is turned upside down when the mix up comes to light -- especially because Sinclair isn't just any billionaire, he's also a werewolf campaigning to be Alpha King! He's not going to let just anyone have his pup, can Ella convince him to let her stay in her child's life? And why is he always looking at her like she's his next meal?! He couldn't be interested in a human, could he?
Really enjoyed this book but unhappy with how the story just ended. I cannot believe the book/ second part has not even been written yet. Sorry but this is a not acceptable with no date for the completion given. I feel like I’ve been conned out of money
I don’t need any of my good read friends hating on me for reading a book with this title — but damn I enjoyed the quick and easy read of this with a lot of cat and mouse feel. I’ll be reading the rest of the books soooo chill mkay 😂
Just okay. Interesting enough to keep reading but has tons of problems. Not a fan of their "relationship" either. Chemistry is lacking and I don't care for either of them much yet.
Found on instagram as an ad, read for a book club lmao, as every bit of cringe as stated, infuriatingly slow af and will not read the other ridiculous 950 chapters.
DNF at like chapter 10 Do I need to explain? It was kinda funny watching the MFC throw Cora under the bus every time she opened her mouth tho. I also keep getting side tracked by other books.
2020 52 Book Reading Challenge - 51) A Genre You Don’t Normally Care For
This book wasn't terrible. It just wasn't a book that I would normally read. I found it scrolling through Facebook, and of course, the three or four chapter long post on Facebook didn't match up to the book, but by then, I was invested in finding out what happened. And honestly, by the end of this book, she is three, maybe four weeks pregnant, and the two main characters just keep doing the same stupid things over and over and over.
“Can it really be that simple? Cut off the head of the snake and the body dies? What cowards.”
I like Ella and Sinclair. Hey have a cute, if not strained, relationship. It could prove to be an epic romance. Adorable.
This story has a lot of potential. It is cute, has great characters with strong personalities, and a good story like. However, it really needs some precessional editing. It needs re-structuring, grammatical and spelling fixtures, and just someone to go fix how many times the wrong name was used. I mean, who is Jane out of the blue? Lots of potential but needs some help to get to a 4+⭐️
Loved the story even though it was a bit of a slow start. I love multiple pov but the 3rd person pov on top of the individual pov was different (not sure if I liked it or not). Only thing I really didn't like was this dang ending and now having to wait for the rest to be completed.
I encountered Accidental Surrogate for Alpha by Caroline Above Story on iReader when I was looking for something new to read (as if I don't have any books I am in the middle of already, lol!) as a palate cleanser. I paused on this mostly because I was curious about how the FLC could be a surrogate for a werewolf, assuming she is human. Did she know he was a werewolf? In this story are werewolves and humans even genetically compatible?
Betrayed by her boyfriend physically and emotionally, Ella goes to the fertility clinic where her sister works to help her get pregnant. A mess-up at the clinic ended up with Ella being inseminated with Alpha Dominic Sinclair's sperm instead of the handsome surgeon she chose from the file. And the story only gets better from there.
After reading all the free chapters, iReader charges 180 coins per chapter and I wasn't willing to spend that so I tried to see if this story is on Goodnovel, and to my delight, it is! I spend over 352 coins to read 10 chapters and I look at how much more I will need to spend to catch up on all the chapters and its equivalent would be something like $24.99! Whoa! So I took a leap and checked Amazon. Lo and behold, the story is there but in two parts (so far) at $5.99 apiece. Doing the math, buying the e-book on Amazon still made more economic sense so I took the leap and bought the 2 books.
In hindsight, I should have just started on Amazon after the free chapters. I have no regrets. This is a wonderful story and worth the money I spent on it on Amazon. I'm only on Chapter 41 but I have a funny feeling that Ella is actually a werewolf but her wolf is suppressed. I can't wait to know if I guessed right!
It was okay for a shifter book but I’m a bit annoyed that it’s only part 1 of the book and not a completed book and the next book hasn’t even been written yet. I should have checked first and that’s on me. I found the premise interesting (human woman accidentally impregnated with wolf shifter semen at fertility clinic) and was ready to read this story. The author did a nice job with world building and there are some creative twists to the usual shifter books. They live in a city, the H is in the running to be elected King, the H can connect with the fetus by touching the h, there are fun holiday traditions for the shifter world, etc. The h is supposed to be brave, independent, and able to stand up to the alpha, and that’s good, but it gets a bit repetitious and tiresome , especially when she acts immature and silly for the sake of being “independent”. (You can’t tell me what to do, blah, blah, blah). I may or may not read the conclusion when it comes out. I don’t feel like I was sucked in so far that I’m dying to know what happens.
"What's the meaning of this?" I repeat in shock, "what's the meaning of you barging into a private exam?!"
"Because," He declares fiercely, and I swear his eyes are almost glowing with rage. "I can smell my pup."
I saw this on a social media post and thought it sounded super funny so I decided to dive into this book. Part 1 is pretty fun. We meet our MCs and the book description is pretty accurate. She's having fertility issues and goes to a sperm bank but is inseminated with the wrong donor's sperm. She got Dom's and it doesn't hurt that he's a billionaire and good looking. Oh and also a werewolf.
It never gets to the fxcking point there’s slow burn and there’s drawn tf out till it can’t be drawn any fxcking more. 98 fxcking chapters and the main character is still acting like a freaking moron instead of just fxcking fessing up and doing the damn relationship. It’s passing me fxcking off. I just wanna slap her till she gets some common sense. She needs to stop wasting everybody’s damn time and fxcking stop the indenial bullshit it got old as fxck 70 chapters ago. Feel like I’m wasting my fxcking time with this book. There isn’t even any smut. Hard fxcking pass wasted 3-4 days on this nothingness.

These books and this author are a lie. The company advertises for writers to write a chapter at a time and mashes them together to make these. Writers are expected to average a higher word turn out every day than Steven King, but are called “part time/contract” so the company doesn’t have to pay benefits. They make .01 a word and have maximum allowed payout of $1300 a month. Thought to make that they would have to write 87 chapters a month, over 130,000 words to make less than most people’s rent. Please do not support this treatment of writers!
It started off really good. I loved the side stories/perspectives of James& Isabel, Cora & Roger and even Damon and Lydia. But it droned on and on unnecessarily in my opinion. Ella became really annoying and high handed after her wolf emerged. She didn’t listen to anyone’s concerns or feelings, especially Cora’s. She “knew” what was best and if she didn’t get her way she threatened violence. For me, she ended up not likable. Yes she was Luna and to some extent I get it. But she didn’t sit well with me by the end. She became whiny, demanding, and just all around annoying to me.
I watched one of those short story videos on this and quickly became obsessed! Decided to look into the possibility of this being a short story or something I could read because I felt the video was missing details... AND OMG the book is very good. I still need to read the last 2 but Im a big fan! I did only rate it 3 stars because at times I felt the story could have been fleshed out better/ there is maybe some plot holes.. But overal I really like the story and enjoy all the twists and turns. Also a big plus is all of the different POV's given.
My only downside is the fact you have to purchase chunks of chapters and you end up spending almost $80 to buy this book. The first section was $1 then it's $10 for each continuing chunk and that's just too much. I enjoyed the first bit quite a lot actually but I don't have $80 for one book that you don't even have 💁🏼 maybe $5 for each would be more manageable but def not where it's at. If the price goes down I'd def continue to read but not for current pricing unfortunately
Originally, I came across Accidental Surrogate on one of those serialized episode apps. When I realized I could get the “whole book” to read on my Kindle, I jumped on it. Fun fact, not the whole book. This is also a straight copy/paste from the other app, typos and all.
The story though, is solid. With some polishing, it could be great, for now, it’s just okay.
It's a great story, definitely draws you in. I am not, however, a fan of all the uncertainty. I also believe certain things could have been revealed here that weren't. Even though it has been very drawn out, I definitely enjoyed reading it. She did a much better job of being drawn out, but still holding my interest than most if any other writers I've read before. Looking forward to the next book, and hopefully getting alot of good news and answers this next go around.
I’m not usually in to werewolf love stories but I continue to fall in love with this book more and more. So glad fb thought I needed a certain app’s ad that got me started in this book. I literally stopped reading everything else because if I’m not listening to an audiobook at work I’m reading this on breaks and when I can at home. Gotta go…..on to the book 2 on the kindle app.
Lots of grammatical errors, who is Jane? There’s some oddities about pregnancy in here even for “wolves”. Things that are indicators that the author didn’t do their research. And lots of cliche sentences. The whole book felt like it was copied from other wolf series and romance novels.
The storyline was interesting enough for me to abandon reading the current series I was supposed to read. But, I was curious to find out what would happen to Ella and how did the mistake happen in the first place. However, by the time this book finished, I didn't get the answer yet. Hopefully, the next book will shed some light. This book definitely needs some proofreading tho.
I really am enjoying the character development and storyline, but the grammatical errors are increasingly getting too much. I already pre purchased the next book, so hopefully they do a better job of fixing this problem, but I won't purchase the last book if it continues.
Ella has this way about her that makes Dominic just grave at her feet. I love how they come together and at first they didn't have a clue about one another but thier love is taking a turn and their finally coming I to their own feelings about on another and it's been a back and fourth battle between them.. Love this book so far I'm off to buy book 2
This is an interesting read. Ella is struggling with fertility and finds her boyfriend of 10 years cheating on her after being told she didn’t have time to get pregnant and needed to inseminate as quickly as possible. It’s an alpha male ego, dominant male, shifter, enemies to lovers novel. I found this on an app.
If you overlook the typos and grammar stuff (it’s honestly not that bad anyway) it transports me back to wattpad days when I was younger lol. I actually enjoyed reading this and it was a pretty easy read too in the sense that it went by quickly and was easy to follow/ become engrossed in it. I’ll definitely be reading the other parts.
