Owen, a hunter of lesser dragons, now finds himself forced to hunt true wyrms, while learning how long he must go to step out of his father’s and his teacher’s shadows. Meanwhile, they must confront demons from their own pasts—demons that might yet kill them all.
The story is what kept me going and why I rated as I did. It was a new tale and adventure I haven’t been on. Put aside the desperate need for page breaks and some editing and fighting my own urges to mark up the book as a felt it should have been, the story told I thought was phenomenal. I recommend this to all fantasy lovers.
The book was all over the place. Story line took a long time to understand. The author writing style is not great. I think there should have been a little more time spent editing. And a little more time planning the plot.
I enjoyed the story. The book could have used a better layout since the story went from one scene to another without any sort of marker to indicate this. One paragraph was one scene. The very next was another. A little jarring sometimes... But it was still a good story.
