The Bibletime series by Carine Mackenzie has been praised for the accurate retelling of great Bible stories. This timeless collection has been printed in many languages throughout the world and sold in their millions. They can be read over and over again.
Carine Mackenzie’s talent for retelling Bible stories has meant that children from all over the world have been given the opportunity to discover Jesus Christ for themselves. The first title written in the kitchen with the assistance of a basin of water has inspired the production of many other books. Carine's 150th book 365 Great Bible Stories was released in July. She has sales of over 3 million books. She is a member of the Associated Presbyterian Church in Inverness, Scotland.
This was a decent retelling of the life of John the Baptist. It is quite true to the Biblical account. The only problem I had with it was one or two sentences were rather ambiguous as to the purpose of baptism. Salvation by faith alone is clearly taught, but the wording used for baptism could make some think that it has some part in salvation.
