This isn't my usual "genre" but I actually really liked it. Apart from the goosebumps and the fact I couldn't read it alone or in the dark (too scary), it was amazing. The writing is nice and fluid, the plotline is crazy and surprising. Leaves you wondering until the last chapters. I'm getting more and more open to different kinds of stories and I'm glad I fell on this one. I did think it was a romance to start with but it did not disappoint at all. I was also agreeably surprised to read about a mental disorder like schizophrenia but in such an unusual way. It makes it fresher and makes me even more keen on learning about that special disorder.

i found this book quite creepy actually! It was not at all what i was expecting when i started reading it, but i was quite pleasantly surprised, right up to the end, where for the second time with an ellen mccarthy book i was dissapointed by the ending.but that shouldnt put anyone off reading it, its a bit of a psychological thriller type book for the most part and very interesting plot i thought!
I really loved this book. The plot is complex and well made, and the end is unpredictable. I recomend it. It's a bit creepy, but it's one of my favourite books.
