The works of JRR Tolkien are considered some of the most inspiring books of all time. They've given hope and comfort to millions of people across the world, spanning decades. We can flip to any story and find something thought-provoking. In this devotional journal, we will go through The Silmarillion , The Hobbit , and The Lord of the Rings , reflecting on Tolkien's words and our own unexpected journeys.
Roman Colombo earned an MFA in Fiction from Rosemont College in 2010, after completing his BA in English-Creative Writing from USF in 2008. He has been published in a variety of journals including thread, monkeybicycle, the Lit Garden, and The Rusty Nail. He also has pieces in the 2013 anthology Strangers of Different Ink and published for the ezines FlashFiction.net and TheWeeklyComicBookReview.com. Previously, he was the Lead Comics Editor for Comic Years. He currently teaches at Bucks County Community College and writes as a freelancer.
His first novel, Trading Saints for Sinners was released by WragsInk in December 2013.
