Rate this book
My wife has a removable face.
I’ve never glimpsed what lies beneath it, but my best friend has.

I got paid $20k to test a video game. Now everything I love is dead.

I fell into a mass grave. But there’s something… off… about the corpses down there.

A FACADE OF FLESH brings you 13 terrifying tales for your darkest nights. From horrific murders to sinister experiments, from mass graves to deadly insects, this collection is guaranteed to make you fear what lurks in the dark. Read… if you dare.

Praise for A Facade of Flesh
"You can tell when a book has the power to trap you within its first few pages. Even though this is a collection of short tales, I was glued to the gruesome and the shocking."

"The book is terrific. Literally all the stories could be made into great movies."

"There wasn't a single story I didn't jump into with delight and ponder afterwards."

A collection of short stories from the legendary r/NoSleep. Lots of different types of horror on show; gruesome, sci-fi-horror, goofy, darkly disturbing. So many brilliant stories! I particularly loved the one about popping tablets containing Element Z and the Weeping Wisp. Give it a read!

An Anthony of thirteen horror stories. I love anthologies. These books are a what get me out of reading slumps. Short chapters and excellent writing keep me interested, this book did not disappoint. Deep dark secrets, a video game, experiments and mass graves are just some of the themes that round out this anthology. Each story keeps the reader guessing and wondering, what if? A fantastic anthology that creeps and entertains.

I really enjoyed these stories! I read a lot of horror stories, and I've never read anything like them. They were creepy and thought provoking, inventive and original, and really held my attention. There were a few typos that were annoying, but pretty minimal. I'm drawn to short story collections lately, because I don't always have the free time to jump into a full length novel. This was perfect bedtime reading!.

What a creepy read this was!!!
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable.
Great suspense and found myself second guessing every thought I had continuously.
Can't wait to read what the author brings out next.
Recommend reading.

This is a great book, with some shorter stories and some longer ones. My favorite were the ones that had an element of science fiction. They were thought-provoking page turners - and I could easily see them being turned into movies. Get this book. It's worth it just to learn about Z.

Nathaniel Lewis does a great job in the horror genre, it had what I was looking for from the description. I really enjoyed the concept and loved the characters within it. It had a great tense atmosphere to it and I'm glad I got to read this.

This is a really great anthology of some of the most disturbing, disgusting, give you nightmares for some time, and make you avoid going into dark rooms for a long time. If you are up for that then this is the book for you. Pleasant nightmares my pretties. It's

Very good short stories here. Reminiscent of HP Lovecraft style, and also reminded me of Stephen King’s Revival, which scares the hell out of me!

Most of the stories were mind boggling. Gazing at a lady's real face is forbidden and has dire consequences.
A man lands into a pit of corpses not of this world. The aftermath of using a black card with unlimited money and a deadly experiment are some of the tales which are haunting. Horror buffs like me will enjoy these stories. Not for the faint hearted.
