A Jack Whitfield Thriller Book # 2
This is a gripping international intrigue and a winner in my books. Jack in this mission will face the world’s most notorious terrorist. Terror strikes across Europe, bombs explode at outdoor venues. Jack and his squad need to pinpoint who may be behind this....clues bring them to the Chinese Communist Party and the carnage has to end at any cost...
Being a huge fan of this author I hate to miss any of his creation. Yes creation that offers us excitement with never ending action...maybe too much but fun, fun, fun. The characters are well-define and recurring ones get better and better as new installments are added. When describing locations, the author paints vivid details pulling you into the scenes with finest. It is very hard not to push forward flipping pages to see the outcome...yes surprises await at every page. These high-speed chases around the globe will no doubts please adventure seekers. The many twists and turns are a real roller-coaster ride, Jack and his squad are continuously blindsided and almost killed by criminals...but they survive for us to enjoy their next escapade into criminality.....
Found in all of Mr. Mefford’s thrillers: exiting story filled with gun play, action characters to drive the plot, realistic narration and active dialogue (not necessary clean) and many subplots going on at the same time.
The Jack Whitfield series is very dynamic and one easy to get hooked on.
Ms. Mefford once again you outdid yourself. Thank you for the hours of enjoyment.

What a wild ride! Can you imagine chasing a possible network of bombers? Plenty of action. The CLASS gang tries to track down Apollo and stop the bombs before they detonate. He proves to be a slippery character who has help. Who of the CLASS group will survive? another blockbuster by John Mefford. I was given a review copy for an honest review. I can highly recommend this book and any of the others by John Mefford.

Incredible 2nd (actually the 5th) book in this new series. This author writes very complex thrillers, with many, many subplots going at the same time. Jack Whitfield is the main character and in this new novel, he has now been joined by all of his former partners he met and worked with in the previous adventures. CLASS is the name of the sub-organization within Interpol that they all work for, and, by combining their individual skills, CLASS applies the team to search out and, hopefully, resolve worldwide crimes and criminals and the masterminds who run them, whether they be individuals, corporations, or countries. This time, the team is on a mission, but are broken up when Jack and Su are sent to China again, this time to search out a terrorist, on the watch list for all countries who specializes in bombings for hire. They are searching not only for him, they are after his employers, his targets, and his associates. The twists and turns are a roller-coaster ride, and just when the team finds a clue and can take a breathe, they are blind-sided and almost killed by even more criminals and criminal organizations. I highly recommend this dynamic series and am looking forward to the next in the series which, of course, is introduced in the final paragraphs.

I have said this many times, I have no idea where the author gets his imagination but wow does he have one. This book kept you on your toes right from the start. You do have to pay attention because so much is happening and you go jumping from one place to another and there are a lot of characters. There is so much action and adventure. The main character, Jack Whitfield, must be made of steel for how many times he’s been beaten and bullets shot into him but he keeps on ticking. Another great story and I look forward to more adventures with Jack Whifield.

I read this as an ARC. John Mefford keeps getting better and better as an author of intrigue and dangerous rides. This is the second installment of the Jack Whitfield series. As the leader of an international team charged with removing evil, the team is chasing the world's #1 terrorist trying to prevent him from blowing up locations around both Europe and Asia. But at what cost ti the team? A must read thrill ride!

If you enjoyed Baracuda, you will enjoy this one even more! Jack's mission takes him to several countries in the hunt for a terrorist who is setting of bombs. Is it one bomber or several bombers, if so who are the others? While stopping the bombers is a priority, knowing who is behind it and why needs to be resolved to put an end to it.
So much action and several sub plots make this book a difficult one to put down.

Round the World and Back Again
Mefford has a knack for building tension in his readers. One fast paced scene after another. They don’t seem to stop, and just when you think they will he manages to wind the reader up one more time. Couple the tension with well developed characters and relationships and you get a well put together novel. If you like action and a lot of it you will enjoy Medford’s work as well as his characters. I Don’t think you can go wrong.

His new team is working hard to figure out who is doing this and why? Through Portugal, London, and Paris and on to Milan, the clock ticks on. Will they ever find the answers they are looking for? The action is non stop, and keeps you turning pages long into the night.

The 5th book of Jack Whitfield thriller. He and Su are on a team and working on a job back in China. They are trying to find the person or persons behind the international bomber. I have to say the stories are getting better with each book.
