Told in dual POV, 1st person, it’s the second installment in "The Devil" Duet and should be read in order. It’s dark, here Daniela goes through hell and comes back, not without scars but as I said before she’s strong. Strong enough to put her own pieces in their places but not without Gian’s help and his patience. The way he loves her… the urge to protect what is his… albeit the story was a bit rushed at some places but enjoyable. Overall, I had a good time reading this duet and hope you like it as well!

This is the first book duet by Bella J. that I’ve read and it won’t be my last. This story was able to get my emotions all worked up in every way. It is written with characters so flawed and so perfectly imperfect. I have immediately pulled into Gian and Daniela's world once again and I didn’t want to leave. It's a terrific dark romance that I absolutely enjoyed.

OH MY GOODNESS y’all!! This book was so unexpected and left me speechless. Now beware that the Prologue gives us a vision of how dark and emotional this book is.
Gian’s emotions are over the place once he realizes that Daniela had been kidnapped and no matter whom he hires to find her he just cannot. We get to see that no matter how hard Gian tried to show that he did not care for Daniela we see his true emotions come out when it matters.
While I tried to figure out who took Daniela I realized that it had to be……. well I’m not going to give much away because you need to go in with a clear mind and be ready to shout, sniffle and plan your revenge like Gian did. There are many what the fudge moments and moments that will leave you speechless. Kara~ 4.5 Stars

The Devil's Vengeance by Bella J., the explosive and jaw dropping conclusion of Gian and Daniela's story is one of the best dark romance I have read recently. I loved every shocking, perverse and dangerous moment of it.
Daniel may have entered into a loveless arranged marriage with Mafia prince Gian. But they were slowly developing a twisted love when she was kidnapped. Taken away and brutally tortured. Gian moved heaven and earth to get her back and he did. But this Daniela is a shadow of her former beautiful self. Inside out. Gian has to make sure she is safe and protected and happy. But their enemies are not far away.
If you have triggers regarding sexual abuse, it's best to proceed with caution with this story. I was absolutely thrilled to see the dark and cruel side of Gian giving away to the caring and desperately in love side. He is still a volatile man. Ruthless. Vengeful. Edgy. Bossy. But the author beautifully showcased his deep love for Daniela. I could feel his pain for Daniela's pain in my soul. Daniela is an amazing woman. She was broken, bruised and torn apart. But she still didn't stop loving. Didn't stop trying to be whole and content. Her light burns bright in Gian's dark world. And Gian was with her at every step of her fight.They are true soulmates. And you will be able to feel the intensity and depth of their connection. They don't have it easy and simple. It was a blood stained story with chaos, deceptions and violence. It was also super steamy! The heat and feels were so well balanced.

Someone who was a big Enemy of his had taken her and there was no way he was getting her back easily. However, that also did not mean that he gave up on her.
Overall Opinion :
The emotions and the thrill was high for this book! I loved the twists and the turns in this one. Gian had some major character development which made me love him even more than what I did already!
Daniela and Gian have an amazing tale that is full of darkness and heartbreak. Between all that , they both found love and now they had to protect that at all costs! A must read for the dark Romance lovers out there!!

The Devils Vengeance by Bella J is book 2 and the conclusion to the series and what an ending, it's was thrilling, dark, pacy and twisted but with a happy ever after, which just completes this series and brings the heart rate back to a normal thump.

Daniela Moretti, the daughter of my enemy...and I intended to treat her as such. But since the say she set foot in my house as my wife, my loathing of her turned into something deadlier than hate Her strength intrigued me. Her fight seduced me. And i started seeing more in her than just dirty, filthy Moretti blood. Now...she is gone. Kidnapped. Vanished without a trace. But the devil always finds what's his, and when I do, my thirst for vengeance will be sated by blood.
This is a dark romance and the second book in the series. You have to read The Devil's Vow first. It is so good and if you don't read it you will be lost in this book. Plus you get to watch Gian and Daniela fall in love after he was filled with so much hate. If you have read that book then you know that we were left with out hearts in our throat and Daniela being kidnapped and taken away from Gian. Now the time has come for him to find her and he is desperate and I so wanted to scream at him that things are right in front of his face if he would just think in that direction. I wanted Daniela rescued so bad that I couldn't stand it. I was a mess and this is where you need to be warned. The first several chapters of this book are going to have your heart in your throat. It is dark and I felt like it was some of the darkest things I have ever in my life read in a dark romance. Trust me I read a lot of dark romance but this one is just on that Bella J level and then some. Good grief I cried so hard. This poor woman has got to have the ultimate will to live. I was a mess for sure and I wanted Gian to do his worst and the guy does. However things just might not be what they seems and you will once again have your heart in your throat the last several chapters of this book. Good grief. What a ride it was!!!!! This is such a great duet. You do not want to miss it.

The Devil's Vengeance is the second and final book for Gian and Daniela's story. This book follows after the cliffhanger in The Devil's Vow where Daniela got kidnapped by Darion.
Let me just say that I didn't expect this book to be extremely dark. I thought the first book was dark enough, but this one is far more dark, twisted, triggering, and suspenseful. Lord forgive me, but I enjoyed this book wayyy better than the first book. I didn't really have any high expectations and yet Bella managed to make me devour the book from the first page till the end.
Everything about this book is thrilling that will get you on the edge of your seat. I seriously liked the entire storyline for this book especially how Daniela and Gian struggle to handle and overcome and the issues and conflicts that they were facing in the entire story. In the book, we get to see more development between Daniela and Gian (not just their relationship but also their own characters) which really got me extremely emotional because of what they went through.
Overall, this book was written greatly and I think Bella had done an amazing job in ending this duet series. I seriously didn't expect the plot twist which got me SHOOK af. However, I kinda felt that the last few chapters were kinda rushed which got me hoping for it to be a few chapters longer, but I can't deny that I still enjoy it nevertheless. Hence, I really recommend everyone to give this series a chance!

Book two in an already great mafia love story gets even better in this much darker conclusion. More intrigue and more passion, I was on pins and needles. In this story both a hero and a villain in a decadent mafia setting profess to love Daniela, but only one is driven by her best intentions. Rivalry, steam, depravity, I was spellbound in this wild journey to the heroine's rescue, Gian's retribution, and the lengths to which a villain will go. The story lived up to being a stellar read, romantically thrilling, darker romance, which held me captivated.

Ok if you thought book 1 was heart pounding then you are in for a surprise because this book is heart stopping. This gripping conclusion to The Devil's Vow is absolutely mind blowingly twisted and depraved and will grip you so tight it leaves you gasping for air. Darion is one sick, depraved psychopath who deserves everything he gets and more. This story is well written and fast paced and will hold you hostage from the opening line until the very last line. You will go through a whole slew of emotions like anger, bitterness, sadness, love and even dare I say it happiness. Yes this story is dark and twisted in so many ways but it is one dark and twisted ride worth taking.
These two books are my first taste at what Bell J can offer and I seriously need more from her, she is right up there (imo) with the other queens of dark and twisted stories such as K Webster and Ker Dukey. So if you enjoy the dark, the twisted, the depraved, the mind f***ing then you will want to read Gian and Daniela's story.

Bella J is the absolute queen of cliff hangers! Just when you think she can’t throw any more curve balls, she does just that!
The Devils Vengeance had me riveted from page 1!
Following Gian and Daniela’s tempestuous relationship has been a roller coaster of drama and suspense that I have white-knuckled my way through. Their beautiful love story has twists and turns you never anticipate,,I have loved the journey and can’t wait for more!

Godness, I did not think this book was going to take us there.
I wanted to bleach my eyeballs, and take a bath in the bleach. It was so violent, so dang on depressing and yet it moved in such a slow pace that the violence was even harder to swallow.
The two main characters went from hate to love so quickly, I blinked and it happened.. like where the hell was I when this developed?

I had been waiting for The Devil's Vengeance since I finished the first book The Devil's Vow. The anticipation was killing me and I wanted this book so bad. So when it dropped onto my kindle I jumped into the story. By the time I was done reading I was wondering what had happened and where the story had gone.
I had given this story 5 stars and it does deserve it but I also wondered why these books were not just put into one book. There didn't seem to be any reason to separate two stories with only a little under 200 pages to go.
The ending to The Devil's Vow was horrific and traumatizing for anyone to read. But by the time the second book came out, I was not in that panic anymore for the characters, it took me a bit to get back into the desperation I was feeling for everyone. That is another reason I don't understand why it couldn't have just been one story. The horribleness that Daniela had to go through should have been all together for us readers to feel in one setting.
Again I did give it 5 stars because it deserves it for the fullness of how wonderful it does continue to be. And I highly recommend anyone to read these two stories now that they have been published.

What an explosive ending to an incredible story! Raw, gritty and full of angst!! Bella J kept me on the edge of my seat! So many twists and turns! Getting rid of the depravity and wickedness had me turning the pages frantically!! Heart stopping!! The Devils Vengeance was truly captivating!!

Didn’t live up to the hype
I had high expectations for this book because of how the first one ended. Okay I get that horrible things happened to Daniela, but did it have to be so descriptive and vile. We had like two whole chapters or more on it. Not necessary at all. I almost gave up on it. To think you could spend all that time on rape and torture but glossed over the healing and over coming part. Why? In everything that goes on in the world we focus on the bad instead of the good.
Then Gian was so dumb about his brother. It was quite obvious who it was. Then not to make sure he wasn’t dead? Come on you are a mobster why wouldn’t you do that. The ending twist about the father didn’t make sense at all.

I'm an impatient reader. There… I said it. I really dislike waiting for a book to come out. Especially after I finish reading a book in a continuing series as was the case here. When I turned the last page in the first book, The Devil's Vow by author Bella J I was left hanging by a thread with one of the best cliffies ever. I hated that I'd have to wait for the conclusion of this duet.
Turns out I needed that time to recover before reading the conclusion to Gian’s and Daniela’s story in The Devil’s Vengeance. LOL. Although I had to suffer through restless leg syndrome for weeks by wearing down my wood floor from all the pacing I did just waiting for this book, IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH THE WAIT and wear and tear on my floor. Alrighty, enough of my babbling…. Here we go... I know this is a long review but I had lots to say.
Listen up all you DARK ROMANCE lovers. That's right, I'm talking to you. I have something to say. I'm saying buckle up buttercup! Mark my words and heed my warning. Strap yourself in nice and tight and get ready to be blown away and sent into oblivion where you discover what true love really is.
What a supercharged, highly emotional, incredibly intense and jaw dropping suspense riddled ride Bella J just took me on while reading The Devil's Vengeance. I was in an adrenaline rush the entire time I was reading this book. The author’s books seem to do that to me each and every time.
I can honestly say that if I wasn't buckled in my seat and holding on with a death grip like no other, I would have been catapulted into the abyss right along with my sanity. And there ain't no pill for that. There is however one cure for what ails me from this delectable madness and his name is Gian Silvestro! He is the epitome of what an alpha male is all about. He makes me weak in the knees with the way he cherishes and covets his wife Daniela.
Both Gian and Daniela are tortured and tormented in the very worst way. And because I was riding the journey with them, I hurt as well. In mind, body and soul after one of the most brutal and unspeakable violent acts of betrayal rips them apart and thrusts them in a world of hurt. Each suffering equally but in different ways. Literally my heart hurt from the inside out.
Day by excruciating day they were left engulfed in the pain derived and inflicted by the wretched evildoer who relished in his own psychopathic tendencies and delusions. Leaving Gian and Daniela both drowning in the suffocating loss of one another and not knowing what the future holds or if there even is a future to behold. I was shocked at the lack of decency within the family. There is no loyalty whatsoever.
Believe me when I say that nothing could have prepared me for the invisible razorlike shards that snuck up on me and penetrated my soul during every second I spent in that prison with Gabriela. It nearly broke my spirit, right along with Gabriela while I was reading this story.
It was as if the whole world had gone mad. A world where common decency is thrown out the window along with family values. Well, at least in the world of the Silvestro’s & Moretti’s. There is no honor among these two families with the exception of Gian. It was shocking to say the least. There is no honor, only vengeance.
Sometimes when you look close enough you'll uncover the truth and find that blood isn't always thicker than water. Those who were supposed to have your back, turned around and stabbed you in it. The ones you would never expect to betray you will leave you shocked and appalled.
Ulterior motives, selfish agendas, sickening betrayal and unforgivable lies pave the way to the ultimate showdown.
Then in true Bella J form…...WHAMO! She strikes you down with another shocking twist, never ending lies and deplorable betrayals. Always keeping you on the edge of your seat. Always wondering and guessing whodunit?.
The devil Gian is a force to be reckoned with. If you challenge the devil and tempt the beast, he'll come out and play and you'll pay the ultimate price, in blood. Punishments will rain down with great force and vengeance, obliterating those enemies who threaten the ones you love.
Satan's spawn is another matter altogether. Something sinister is going on. Beyond Darion. It's GRITTY, RAW, INTENSE and IN YOUR FACE and the butterflies never... stopped... flying... in a frenzy inside my belly.
Daniela took her greatest pain, greatest weakness and greatest fear and turned them into her greatest strengths. She took her overwhelming pain and madness that was caused by pure evil and cast it away. She took back her life and her sanity. But most importantly she didn't have to go it alone. She loved and cherished Gian. Her man, her husband, her savior. A man who would die for her, a husband who would love her always and completely, and her savior who would slay all her demons. A man completely devoted to his woman, his wife, and his savior. They say there is strength in numbers. Daniela and Gian are proof of that.
I simply adored this couple. Daniela is such an incredibly strong heroine. Even when she was enduring the wrath of Darion in the pits of hell, she continually amazed me with her strength and determination. Even when she was broken, shards of strength kept her from giving up. I found this to be the case throughout the entirety of this duet.
Chapter twelve was my favorite. The heartbreaking and gut wrenching admissions and declarations nearly broke me. I felt the love, the pain, and the angst as though I was right there with them. It wasn't until I finished that chapter did I even realize that tears were falling on my cheeks. I had been completely enthralled. The entire chapter was so raw, and gritty but beautiful at the same time. The vulnerability, sadness, pain and fear that lives inside these two people, again for different reasons shook me to my very core.
I could go on and on about this book/duet. Really I could. But alas, I must end it. I’d like to end by saying a HUGE THANK YOU to the amazing Author Bella J. Thank you for writing this beautiful, soul crushing, heart wrenching read. It is so emotionally driven… How could it not be? Good grief…. The feels. It has ALL the feels. I dare you not to shed one single tear. It can’t be done. Nope!!!
The Devil’s Vengeance, the entire duet is something special. Is it dark? Yes. Is it hard to read at times? Yes. Will it test your limits? Yes. But life often hands us hard times. You deal with the blows life throws at you and not wither away and die. You have to get past the ugly before you scratch the surface and rediscover the beauty of true bliss, true love.
Do I recommend this brilliantly written 5 STAR Dark Romance duet? You bet your arse I do. Put your fears aside and read this book/duet. It’s about healing from unimaginable violence and the pain that accompanies it. Learning to let go of the fear and allowing goodness, happiness and love to seep into your blood and into your heart. To open yourself up to healing the pain, enjoying life and falling in love all over again.

Era ciò che sognava Daniela, l'odore di Fresia la faceva sentire libera, serena, in pace, fin quando la realtà non si abbatte con prepotenza nella sua vita e, allora, ecco che la puzza di morte, sangue e disperazione prendono il suo posto.
Non c’era nessuno che potesse aiutarla a lottare per sopravvivere in modo da poter sentire ancora una volta il sole e il profumo dei fiori. Era sola, e tutto quello a cui riusciva a pensare era la paura di non provare mai più un momento di felicità.
Per tutta la vita era stata una combattente. Aveva lottato per la felicità della sorella Alissa. Aveva combattuto contro il padre fino al giorno del suo matrimonio. Aveva combattuto contro Gian e il suo odio per lei, fin quando non gli aveva rubato il cuore. Aveva combattuto contro il mostro che l'aveva presa, usata, marchiata, violata. Aveva lottato, aveva combattuto, ma per la prima volta nella sua vita, si sentiva sconfitta. Senza speranza. Spezzata, malconcia, devastata. Completamente e totalmente sola.
Leggere il prologo di questo secondo e ultimo volume della serie "Vows and Vengeance" ti mette sottosopra cuore, mente e stomaco, la sensazione è di puro sgomento, ti chiedi se avrai la forza di andare fino in fondo per poter scoprire cosa accadrà alla protagonista, man mano che vai avanti e leggi l'orrore e la violenza a cui viene sottoposta Daniela, da un lato la mente ti dice di fermarti, dall'altro hai solo voglia di arrivare alla resa dei conti e sperare che il mostro alla fine paghi nel peggiore dei modi. E io onestamente avrei scelto modi molto più crudeli per lui.
«Dio mi è testimone, passerò ogni fottuto momento della mia vita a proteggerti, ad aiutarti e a essere l’uomo che hai bisogno che io sia. Capito?»
Ma al peggio non c'è mai fine e, quando tutti i pezzi della scacchiera verranno messi al posto giusto, la verità che ne verrà fuori sarà sconcertante.
Il peso da sopportare per tutte le atrocità subite sarà troppo pesante per Daniela e Gian o riusciranno a lasciarsi tutto alle spalle e ricominciare da capo?
Gian Silvestro aveva sempre odiato la famiglia Moretti e con loro anche Daniela, la figlia che era stato costretto a sposare, il giorno in cui l'aveva vista camminare lungo la navata, era determinato ad essere il cattivo della storia. Ma le cose erano cambiate. Il suo mondo era cambiato. Lui era cambiato. Ed era determinato a essere il suo cavaliere dall'armatura scintillante. La convivenza gli aveva fatto conoscere una donna forte, coraggiosa, dolce e se ne era innamorato, adesso che gli era stata portata via il suo unico scopo era trovarla e far del male a coloro che avevano osato toccarla. Freddo, spietato e mortale Gian, indomita, resiliente e ribelle Daniela, due protagonisti uniti dall'odio, due amanti con i cuori tagliati e sanguinanti, ma che insieme hanno trovato la strada per la felicità.
Una scrittura, quella dell'autrice, avvincente, fluida e scorrevole, i pov sono alternati dando la possibilità di percepire le emozioni dei protagonisti ed entrare in empatia con le loro paure, il loro dolore, i loro sentimenti. L'autrice riesce a mantenere vivo l'interesse fino alla fine grazie alla suspense e ai colpi di scena che saranno una costante per tutta la durata del libro, non vedo l'ora di poter leggere ancora qualcosa di suo.

Alright so this is a follow to “The Devil’s Vow” and since that ends in a cliffhanger, you can definitely not read this booo first!! This is the conclusion to Gian and Daniela’s story.

Wow! Ok so the way book one ended I was seriously jacked up and dying to read book two. Well book two jumps right in. Man let me say the first half of this book is no joke. Please don’t read if darker stuff offends you because this will offend or trigger you. With all that said I am so head over heels for Gian. He loves Daniela like his last breath.
The twists in this book are crazy. Be prepared for a few “wth” moments. Not every bad guy is bad and not every good guy is good. Sometimes there is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. I had to drop the book a few times and just let this shit resonate.
Once again this book proves that Daniela is a strong a resilient woman. Her love runs deep and her strength shines bright. Gian is such a good man. Yes he is a killer and may have a temper but his heart is definitely in the right place. Did I mention he is a total alpha and sexy as hell?!!!
This is a quick and easy read. The author killed it with this duet and left me mind blown.

I've been anxiously waiting for this book because the previous one knocked me out of my feet.
It was surreal, brutal, and super intense.
Just like every Bella J book.

This book keeps exploring the lives of Gian and Daniela.
But I must tell you something. This book is not a standalone therefore you must read The Devil's Vow first.
Grab it and prepare yourself to be hooked.
This new book started right where the other left of.
As you know, Gian was obligated to marry Daniela.
It's just a marriage of convenience and things are ugly between them.
But something changed and now she disappears. She was abducted and Gian will do everything he can to find her.
No words... I have no words...
This book killed me softly... Oh so softly...
Sublime plot, very well written, super engaging, and intense... So intense...
Each chapter had the ability to glued me to my kindle and not stop reading.
I couldn't stop reading because I needed to know more... So much more.
The characters worked perfectly with each other and you could feel their pain, their struggles, their fights.
How can someone be so crazy? So maniac?
Why can't you just accept that you lost?
Betrayal, pain, punishment, crime is very present in this book as well as love, desire, and friendship.
There were parts of the book that I saw myself wanting to scream and hurt someone...
How? Why? When?
I was so mad but then it all passed.
Freaking awesome book Bella J. Amazing in every way.

I've been anxiously waiting for this book because the previous one knocked me out of my feet.
It was surreal, brutal, and super intense.
Just like every Bella J book.

This book keeps exploring the lives of Gian and Daniela.
But I must tell you something. This book is not a standalone therefore you must read The Devil's Vow first.
Grab it and prepare yourself to be hooked.
This new book started right where the other left of.
As you know, Gian was obligated to marry Daniela.
It's just a marriage of convenience and things are ugly between them.
But something changed and now she disappears. She was abducted and Gian will do everything he can to find her.

While amid darkness beauty can be found. Bella J intertwines a story filled with some of the darkest moments a person can go through with beautiful moments in the light.
Gian and Daniela may not have come together through traditional means and their love may not have grown before their marriage, but it doesn't make it any less special or intense now that they have that bond.
When Daniela is kidnapped Gian promises never to give up until she is found, what he finds is something worse than he ever possibly imagined, but his love for his wife never wanes, no matter what.
This is the second half of a dark duet and there is no holding back on potential triggers that could be tripped. The story begins with Daniela's captivity and keep in mind that this is a dark story. However, where there is darkness there is always light, and the beautiful moments in this tale are truly a high point.
This is a duet and should not be read out of order.

This duet will blow you away. After the first book, I had to dive into book number two immediately so I would know what happened next. I didn't want to put it down and read it like I was starved and that was my last meal. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it all. Now, I will say that there are a few scenes in both book that had me cringing and almost putting the book down, but not because I hated it or anything like that. There are intense passages that will have you on the edge of your seat and some are a little more intense than what you may be used to. There are also some scenes that are just a little too much. None of that distracts from this amazing book. 5 stars and you have to one-click it today!

The Devil's Vengeance is absolutely mind blowing. It is dark, dangerous and utterly captivating.
Bella J takes us into the darkest corners, proving that actions have consequences and the innocent can be taken as collateral damage along the way.
Love can prevail...but at what cost?

The Devil’s Vengeance is a dark and gritty read with so many twists and turns your head will be spinning but you will love every minute of it. Gian is a mad man desperate to find his wife no matter the cost. Will he make it to her in time? Will there be anything left of her mind, body or soul? Bella J is a master at writing dark and raw stories that tear out your heart and this duet is her best work to date. Make sure you have plenty of time once you start reading this book because you won’t be able to put it down. Loved it!!

Rip my heart out, why don't you!?
This author is a slayer of souls!!! How can there be so much depth and romance in a story this twisted? I couldn't put down this wicked, emotional trainwreck!
The devil has now turned vengeful savior in this epic duet conclusion, and OMG the intensity packed into this story! I honestly wasn't sure my tender heart could handle it. I was gutted over and over again. But, oh, the strength of these characters! I fell in love with them all over again.
I can't put into words all of the emotions I felt reading this book. It's one of those stories that leaves you wondering what you can possibly read next because it's buried so deep within you that you're haunted by it. It's dark and effed-up and yet beautiful in its own way.
Read this book with caution if you have sensitive limits. But if you love them dark, it's a must-read!
