Blood of the Broken is the 5th book in the 6 book Atlantis Legacy series. Before getting into specifics on this book let me just say that if you enjoy mythology retellings, sci fi, fated romance, love triangles, treasure hunting, ancient and advanced civilizations, adventure, and mystery this is a great series and I highly suggest you pick it up! (Start with book one, Legacy of the Lost, or better yet the prequel Sacrifice of the Sinners.)
Onto specifics for this novel… ★ spoilers ahead for the previous books in the series but not this one ★
I am absolutely blown away!!! Blood of the Broken picks up right where book four left off. A signal from Raiden’s shuttle is detected in the most unlikely of locations, the Tsakali home world. Cora and all our favorite psychic warriors, sidekicks and of course Hades (swoon, I’m team Hades and always have been) embark on a mission to save Raiden and in the process hopefully secure the future of their mission to save the human and Olympian races. The book takes place in just one location, but it’s vibrant and new and totally works! The action is still nonstop, with plot twists coming around every corner. We reach a breaking point in the Cora/Peri/Raiden/Hades situation and all I can say is chef’s kiss for Lindsey working some magic, I absolutely did not see that coming! I enjoyed the storylines that were wrapped up in this book as well as those hinted at for the final installment! Book five did not disappoint!

Blood of the Broken is THE book I’ve been waiting for over the course of this whole series, and it did NOT disappoint!
The last book brought the Tsakali to us. We thought that the emotional hits couldn’t get worse, but this book is where the fight ACTUALLY hit home.
Lindsey masterfully plays havoc on our emotions in this book, all while using her words to paint truly cinematic scenes along the way. And when I say “cinematic,” I mean blockbuster-worthy action scenes that will leave you on the edge of your seat. You will be unwilling to put this book down until you’ve read every last word on the final page, all while hoping more content magically finds its way into the book.
This story was absolutely unputdownable for me; I think I devoured it in one VERY SHORT afternoon and was already holding my grabby hands out to her for the next one. The entire series has captured me from page one, and while there’s still one more book to come in the series, I already know I’m not ready to let these characters go!
BE WARNED: this one will require tissues to be on hand!
Don’t forget that this IS book five of a six-book series, and does require that you read books 1-4 before diving into this one. BLOOD OF THE BROKEN picks up immediately after the events in book 4, SONG OF THE SOULLESS.

The shuttle Raiden piloted away to save everyone starts sending out a signal from the most unlikely of places. Is it a trap by the enemy that’s hunting them or could he really be alive? Cora knows in her heart she has to find out so they journey there, hoping to get some needed replenishments as well as answering those questions.
The latest book in the series is a page turner that will keep you glued to he pages until you finish the book! There is action aplenty but also tragedy that awaits our intrepid explorers! Answers await Cora and her team as they try to escape the threats they find there and make a successful recovery mission only to find things are not what they seem when they get back to the ship from the planet.
I was a fan of this series from the first book and it has
provided many hours of reading enjoyment as I have
read of the adventures of these people who are journeying to a new home planet to try and restart the population of earth and Olympus again.
I definitely recommend you get this whole series so you don’t miss out on at of those adventures! The characters will quickly become your friends and that makes the reading that much more enjoyable!
If you like adventure and an out of this world romantic triangle along with exciting stops along the way well here it is! I think you’ll be glad you decided to take the journey!

I... I really liked this one. I say it every time, but once again I am blown away by the way Lindsey can create such vivid images with such few words. I could very easily see everything playing out in my mind and boy, did it deliver.
This is the latest book in the series, so if you haven't read the first 4 books, I highly recommend doing so first. It will not make much sense otherwise! It picks up where the last one left off and carries on. This book has less in the way of travel (most of the boom happens in the one place) than prior books, but it makes sense for that to happen.
Ok. Emotion time. This book... usually when something *shocking* happens I will be like "yep, that sucks, moving on." This time I literally had to put the book down after a certain chapter. I... I definitely needed a minute! Then I jumped right back and and DEVOURED the rest of it. There was a certain situation and I wasn't sure how it would resolve, but it was resolved and in such a beautiful way that I was really pleased. Things also came to pass that I was very happy to see happen!
All in all, I loved this book. The whole series. I can't wait for the final book.

Oh my. Where to start?
Lindsey’s books are like the safe comfort at the end of a long day, where you can escape into worlds of fantastic imagination and amazing leading characters….that then break your heart and make you stress as you want to keep reading on to see what happens next! This for me summarises Blood of the Broken. What more can Peri/Cora go through one may wonder, and with Lindsey you can always bet that even when you think a character has reached the ultimate, she knows how to navigate the twists and turns that give a whole new meaning to “plot twist.”
It’s no surprise that this is another great book, the only downside is that we know it’s the penultimate one in the series!

Be prepared to have the tissues ready. I was on chapter three and Lindsey was already pulling at my heartstrings. This book is a wild ride of emotion that had me setting a land speed record the likes of which were seen last when I read rhe last book by She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.
Lindsey has a way with words and crafting these incredible worlds and stories that draw you into a chokehold and refuse to let you go until well after you've finished your dalliance into her latest fictional world.
The continuation of Cora's story will have you on the edge of your seat as you read. I cannot wait to see how her story ends!

I will start by saying you really should read the books that came first, before reading this one. That being said I give this book five stars for making your imagination come to life.. Cora and Hades once again end up almost losing their lives to save their world and ours. They battle their feelings, the fate of 2 world's and Cora/Personifenie with her ability to absorb more physical energy than a normal Olympian. The Tsakali and the Titans are still hunting them and the planet that Hades and Cora is full of radation. And there is a lot of action and it is a wonderful addition to the series. ..... Cant wait for the next book.

Thrilling continuation..
I could not put this book down! I was randomly rehashing scenes when at work and out of the house. So much happens in this book that leaves you reeling, pulling you into Cora's world further: all the devastation and danger, all the love and sacrifice, all the action and emotional roller-coasters.
And as always, I keep imagining this as a TV show, flirting with the idea that somehow this will be transformed into visual format and the special effects are going to be out of this world.
The fantastic twist at the end leads us to envision where the next book is going to take us and I can only imagine one explosive ending!

Prepare yourself... this one will have you feeling ALL the feels!!! Have a box of tissues at the ready, for our characters go through it in this part of their adventure. My word they just can't seem to catch a break eh? However, these trials will make them stronger and forge even closer bonds...of that I'm sure. I loved the first four books of the series, but this one topped them all. It is absolutely packed with action and very hard to put down.
This book picks up right where book four ended with Raiden's ship being found. Cora and her crew head to the seemingly abandoned planet to see if he survived and to look for supplies. Of course nothing is ever going to go easy for Cora
This book made me feel so many emotions, sadness, anger, fear, joy... The end was a shock, but perfect. I can't wait for the next book.

This picks up where book 4 left off, and moves along with the story, perfectly. I enjoyed this book, and there were ups and downs, that I did not see coming, but I loved them all the same. I think that this book is a great addition, to the series, that has me sitting on the edge of my chair, wanting the next one. I am extremely excited to see how this all comes to its conclusion! I really need more and I Loved It!!! No Spoilers, a great must read!!!

This picks up where book 4 left off, and continues perfectly with the story. I didn't need to reread the previous book to be able to become completely caught up and engrossed right away and really enjoyed this story with so many up and down emotions. It's a great continuation to the series that had me surprised at being okay with the way things turned out and relationships developed. Lindsey has a way with words that made me feel okay with the character developments. I can't wait to see how Cora's story comes to its conclusion. Anything could happen!

She never fails to deliver in her books. This installment in this series was fabulous! The action was high. The tension higher. Love was all in the air. And I said before about her books, she can make me cry and my heartbeat faster than most. Her characters are alive. Cora, Hades, Raiden, Emi…the list goes one. All of them are alive and I care for each of them. The gang fought an epic battle but it’s not over!! Can’t wait for the next book!

Great book
Another great adventure with a stellar cast to complete the story. I have so fallen in love with Cora, she is the center of it all. I recommend reading this to all that love fiction and adventures.
