Everything in the world is about sex except sex.
Sex is about power. ~ Oscar Wilde

Desire. Dominance. Sex.
Ethan Holt is in the business of all three.
He believes that any fantasy can be created, and that any kink should be explored.
Why wouldn’t he, when he has several of his own?

Control. Ethan has to have it.
In his job at The Office. In his relationship with Zayne.
He's very particular on who he lets in his world, and even more so on who he lets in his bed.
After all, he’s not the only one who sleeps in it.

Everything in their world is in perfect order, just the way Ethan likes it.
Until a mysterious redhead walks into their club and turns their world inside out.

What happens when control turns to chaos?
Do you give in to it? Or do you make chaos… submit?

Confessions: Ethan begins a new sub-series within the Chicagoverse. It is an MMF contemporary romance series that revolves around Chloé Thornton-Priestley, the wild-child daughter of the three P’s. This can be read as a standalone series.

You know, I always say that I'm gonna take a break from Ella and then I see a blurb or a character and I go back on my word because I'M WEAK.

Sigh.

This started out well and then I frankly got tired. I put it down alot, I got bored
Even the sex scenes weren't that great. They felt clinical and rushed.

Back to my Ella hiatus.

*** I reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.***

Ethan is the seventh entry in the Confessions series. This story focuses on Chloe, Robbie, Julian, and Priest's now-grown daughter. Her journey in this story focuses on finding a strong connection with both Zayne and Ethan. Zayne and Ethan have a complicated relationship and she brings something extra to their dynamic.

Overall I thought this was a fun first introduction to these characters. At times I found this relationship a bit insta-lust and fast-moving, but there were great moments peppered throughout that allowed for more insight into these characters.

I loved getting to see Robbie, Julian, and Priest as parents. Their personalities have never been more defined than with their children, which makes for many fun moments. I'm curious about where this story will go and look forward to the various characters crossing paths, which will be very entertaining.

Ella Frank can write spice, there's simply no question about that and in Ethan she delivers in spades both between the titular character and his lifelong partner Zayne and also when they introduce Chloé, the girl they call Red into their play.

But, here I'm going to admit, I was confused as to why this book is called Ethan when it includes POVs from each of the three main characters and gives back story to both Ethan and Zayne in equal amounts.

I'm also going to offer up my same commentary that I often have on the last few series' Ella's released both solo and with Brooke Blaine, and that's I really don't see the need to split the books up.

This one finishes on a soft cliffhanger that's not really one, more just a place to split the story.

I'm pretty sure when Zayne, (book two), comes out, I'm going to find the story could have just carried on without needing it to be broken up but as I was expecting it, I'm not annoyed as I would be with a cliffhanger that comes out of nowhere.

As to the story itself, it's a really great introduction to Chloé, the daughter of one of my favourite throuples, Ella's much-loved Priest, Prick and Princess, Joel, Julien and Robbie from her Confessions series.

At just 19-years-old she's already inherited some of the best traits of her fathers, she's stubborn, confident, charming but she's also fairly naive too when it comes to both matters of the heart and matters of the bedroom, something she's trying to explore when her path crosses with the two men.

Ella delivers a masterclass in how to pull someone's strings as the two men give Chloé a night she cannot forget.

There is a secondary plot as well, which centres on Zayne's absolute disgrace of a parent, a rich and powerful Senator who is a bigot and a cold and heartless man. I'm intrigued to see how he copes against the power of the three Ps when it comes to protecting their daughter!

Overall this was a cracking good introduction to this latest Chicargoverse entry and I will say one thing for Ella, thankfully she never drags out the time between releases! Roll on April 😁

Nope.

Not for me.

Aside from the creepy "little girl" thing they called her, it didn't sit well with me.
They sounded like two pedophile who craved to devour a 'little girl'
Ew, no.

It was like a bad porn, with a 19 year old girl with three fathers who can't teach her how to behave .

Even seeing Julien, Priest, and Robbie again can't make me 'like' this one.
I had to skim through almost half of the book to the end.

And sex with strangers she only "watched" for one night?
No. Big fat no.

And boring AF.

Even the sex was boring.

Or perhaps I'm just too old for this shit.

I love Ella. She write some books that I love.
But not this one.

PS. The cover looks weird and awkward. It hurts my eyes. Sorry.

These are the kind of cliffhangers I'm OK with. Haha! This is a well set up story, great characters and I can't wait to know what happens next.

Also just the right amount of sexy and fun! Little kinky and very loving at the same time.

The author ruined priest & julian when she made them a throuple by undermining their relationship and henri's book made me hate priest who was one of my favourite characters. This book sounds even more disappointing. I think she has a thing for ruining perfectly good couples by adding an annoying third who is insecure and ruins the whole damn relationship. I can never even re read priest's and Julian's scenes cuz they are absolutely ruined for me. So disappointing to turn one of the best book series into trash with terribly written threesome/ wannnabe triad.
Also why tf is this under mm romance on so many book sites lol.

I’m not used to review books so bear with me.

I usually love Ella Frank’s book but this one is really bad I’m so disappointed.

- First. Chloe. She’s 19. And she just got 19. Like she meet Zayne and Ethan the night of her 19th birthday. They are 29 and established dom. Just that fact bothered me the entire book. She’s a baby. I usually love age gap but here, it was a huge NO. And the fact Ethan and Zayne didn’t stop calling her “little girl” or “petite fille” in French, urgh it was cringe af really.

- Next, I feel like Ethan and Zayne don’t need a third in their relationship romantically speaking. Sexually maybe, the two of them being both dom. But their relationship seems “complete” the way it is. I’d have preferred to read a book about the two of them rather than this where Chloe is just a useless addition to their life.

- In addition to feeling like they didn’t need Chloe, there was absolutely no depth to the story. No background, nothing. Everything in this book felt superficial. Ella Frank just skimmed over everything. Even Chloe’s conversations with her fathers seemed superficial. I love Priest Robbie and Julien with all my heart but they were bland here?! We didn’t even get to know the story behind Justin. All there is to this book is the bdsm and sex which isn’t even that good. She just jumped to one sex scene to another until the end. A much longer book with actual storyline would have been much better.

- Another point that disappointed me was the fact that with each of the previous 6 books of the series, Ella Frank has focused on the MC which the book was named after. I was waiting for the same here. I was waiting for an Ethan’s background but we got nothing at all. This book should’ve at least been called “Zayne” since he’s the one we got a glimpse of with his father and slight school flashback.

- I almost forgot but this trio is just a reboot of the 3 P’s. Ethan as Priest. Jules as Zayne. Robbie as Chloé. But where the first trio was perfect and essential. Here Chloe is just the fifth wheel. Useless.

So, we got no plot, no depth, just sex and that’s all.

I hope the next book come with actual storyline because for now I don’t see how Chloe could actually become a real partner to Zayne and Ethan out of their bed.

And I hope Ella Frank isn’t going to threat Priest the same way she did in Henri and Bailey’s books by making him the « villain ». She ruined his character and I feel like he might get the bad role in here too when he’ll learn what his daughter is up to. (Even if he might get a point since she’s only 19 😭)

Where was the ROMANCE???

I had a feeling I was not going to enjoy this new instalment of the Confession series by Ella Frank, this is why I have not rushed to read it on release day as I usually do with EF books.

It was the MMF that put me off to begin with, I LOVE MM but throw in an F in the mix, not really my thing, myself I would have preferred Justin to be the third, have a new throuple now this I do not mind AT ALL.

I had nothing to read so I gave it a go, I didn’t mind Chloé, Zayne or Ethan really, until they are together then they just creep me out. I felt no sexual chemistry between them and the “little girl” and “petite fille” made me cringe SO uncomfortable to read.

I am not a fan of Dom/sub either, I find it so degrading, sure I love a bossy man but these two again creeped me out, a 19-year-old girl paid to have 2 men/strangers dominate her – REALLY, in the club she could not by alcohol but buying sex is okay and don’t get me started on the coffee shop scene.

While reading and getting to know Ethan a little better, I could not help BUT compare him to Joel Priestley, they are so similar and Priest is ACTUALLY Chloé’s biological father, so again CREEPY.

I knew what the cliff-hanger was going to be as soon as Julien mentioned something, so predictable. After 50% I skimmed A LOT.

The only thing I enjoyed about this was catching up with Robbie, Julien and Priest.

The big question now is am I going to torture myself with continuing this series???????

Chloé + Ethan + Zayne

We all remember Chloé's dads from their own trilogy.
And yes, I said dads. And not only two dads. Three!
Now Chloé is finally old enough to know what she wants.
And she wants to go to a private sex club for her 19th birthday.
The dads can't know obviously.
She's immediately fascinated by the two owners of the club.
Long time couple Ethan and Zayne.
And those two are just as fascinated by that beautiful innocent girl.

══════════════════

description

I loved Chloe's dads books so I just had to read this.
It sounded so good. Chloe with two guys. Just my thing.
But what is not my thing is the whole sex club part.
And even worse: the whole Dom thing. Ew. #ConstantCringe
So I almost stopped reading in the very beginning.
But I kept on going...
And it got better. I still HATED the whole sumbissive part, the whole Power thing and the SIR and kneeling and all that cringey talk. And I didn't like that Chloé is only just 19 - that's too young!
But it was also cute and sweet and sparky and porny and a bit heartbreaking with the guys' pasts and families.
I also hate that we have to wait for three books. Why?
One slightly longer one would've been enough.
I hate waiting - it's horrible with my book alzheimers!
I'm not sure if I'm going to read the next two books.
But I think I will. I'll just fast forward through all the dom stuff.
I want to know how the dads will deal with everything! LOL!

It's not the book's fault that I hate that porny genre.
I love Ella's Chicago world and I'm pretty sure that this will end up being a very cute and sexy trilogy.

CONFESSIONS: ETHAN was a great start in this verry sexy and cute MMF romance trilogy spin-off! READ IT!

Disappointed

I am a huge fan of Ella Frank books and the Confession Series, however this one disappointed me. I loved Ethan and Zane (total hotness and chemistry) but Chloe annoyed me for 99% of the time. She just came off really immature and spoiled. This book would have been so much better IMHO without her as the “3rd”.

This is just the beginning of these three, but what a beginning it was! *fans self*

I didn’t expect anything less than fire when these three meet because that’s what Ella delivers in spades in her stories but also super invested already in everyone! I can’t really pin-point exactly what excites me about this threesome so much at this stage, but their story already sparks in a way that I haven’t read in a while and it excites me!

I can’t wait to see what directions she takes with these three!

**I received an advanced copy of Ethan by Ella Frank and these are my honest thoughts**

I read an mmf book. I read something that wasn’t just mm for the first time in almost 3 years. And I fucking loved it. Okay let’s get into it.

If I don’t live to see my twentieth birthday, it’s because my fathers found out what I did on my nineteenth. ~ Chloé

This story follows Chloé Thornton-Priestley. Yeah. You heard me. The three P’s precious baby girl with the fire hair and the grey eyes, just like her Papa.

For Chloé’s 19th birthday she ends up at a sex club where she meets the hottest men she’s ever laid eyes on. What’s one night of fun? It’s not like her dads will find out.

Ethan and Zayne are very much a happy couple. The work hard and play harder. Which is each to do considering they own a sex club. When the most beautiful red head walks into their lives it’s just supposed to be for one night. But they can’t seem to let her walk away.

Forgive me, fathers, I’m about to sin. ~ Chloé

Y’all know how much I love Robbie, Priest, and Julian so I’ve been excited about this series since the moment it was teased in a live Ella and Brooke did and it did not disappoint.

The chemistry between these three is undeniable. You truly feel a sizzle when they’re all in the room together. Ella did a beautiful job writing their dynamic as three individuals in one relationship and I loved that. The Chicagoverse is such a magical place and after that cliffy? GAH. I need to go back to Chicago! Also. This book is hot. Like Tate and Logan hot. Damn.

A Joyfully Jay review.

4 stars

This is sort of new series from Ella Frank that is still part of the Confessions universe, with the main character being Chloé, the daughter of Priest, Robbie, and Julien. When we last saw her, she was a toddler and she is now 19. She has lived a somewhat socially sheltered life as her fathers are overprotective. This was expected given who her fathers are, but Chloé felt it necessary to sneak out of the house to have a social life and it seemed the only place she could freely go was work and it came across as too much for me.

The book is titled Ethan, which led me to believe that this would be his book. But we get POVs from all three characters, with the least from Ethan, and I felt I knew Ethan the least at the end. There is still a lot of story to be told as they find their way into a new relationship while dealing with Zayne’s senator father, Ethan’s troubled childhood, and Chloé’s three fathers. It was fun getting small glimpses of Priest, Julien, and Robbie. I will be looking forward to the next book, Zayne, and watching their story evolve.

just banged 2 much older and experienced doms in a pretty involved BDSM scene like a dang pr0n star. I tried because I loved the 3 Ps but the suspension of reality and the teenager squick factor is just too much for me.

"First, there was her papa—he was a lawyer, and a badass one at that. Then there was her père, who just so happened to be one of the most famous chefs in the world. Last but certainly not least was her dad, who not only ran and organized their entire lives, but was also the most fabulous human being on the planet."

Yaaass for the second-gen of Chicagoverse! reading this felt like going home. Yes, it was that dramatic for me, haha!

I loved seeing the married life interaction of my favorite throuple- Robbie, Julien, and Priest, as much as I loved getting to know Chloé, their daughter.

Even though the new sub-series starts with Ethan, 1/3 of the intriguing couple we are about to meet, the book also included POV's for all three of them, Ethan, Zayne, and Chloé.

Ethan and Zayne's chemistry is great! I do see a semblance of their younger situations from Julien and Priest's though.

I like all their characters, but not all three of them together - not yet. I hated not being able to rate this book a 5-star, but I just couldn't.💔 There's a bit of disconnection between the three of them that I'm hoping the next book can fill in.

I'm excited about Zayne's book because I cannot pass up seeing the chaos when Chloé's fathers learn about all that their mon ange has been up to.😎

I’m torn between 1 and 2 stars here😂I believe EF has moved to “the upside down” here. Just because an mc is described as sinfully sexy it really doesn’t make him one. You must put in some more effort. Yes, I was that curious and read this. It’s a fairly quick read, which is good. Except there are two more books in this series that I now have to read, because, because … I need to read for myself whether this really is as bad as loads of really fine reviews here say🥴

Sad though. I have enjoyed a lot of EFs earlier books, and she was good at characterisation then. This is a true mess though😵‍💫😵‍💫

This was a miss for me. Which is not normal with this author. First, each book had something I 100% disagreed with and thought was terrible enough to rate the whole series 2 stars. I keep saying in my head this is not what I expect from Ella. Like I have signed copies, kindle copies, the graphic novel…I’m a fan.

I just really didn’t like the age difference expectations, like they expected her to act like she was their age 29 and not 10 years younger 19. And there was no leeway for the age difference ever.

And I absolutely despised the whole scene where she texted them about not seeing other people. It annoyed me that she wasn’t allowed to question them. Like what? What is safe and consensual about that? That’s scary, honestly. Communication is supposed to be key in these types of relationships…except I guess for the boys. I was super surprised by this. And you’re telling me after that response to her text, Chloe says nothing and just frets?! Chloe?! Robbie, Priest, and Julien’s daughter?! That seemed very out of character for her. Like the opposite of what I would have expected.

I’m telling you, through this whole book I just was like oh my god no!, this is bullshit, what the hell, etc. I kept waiting for it to get better or get explained, and it never happened.

It did not give the same feeling I get from her other books which I love so much. But I am kinda worried about future books now. :/

OMG!

I can’t even begin to describe the chemistry between Chloe, Ethan, and Zayne. Explosive, tantalising and sizzling are just a few that come to mind.

Chloe is our leading lady, she’s young but she’s mature beyond her years. She vibrates with energy and a touch of innocence. She knows what she wants, and in this case it’s Ethan and Zayne, the owners of an exclusive sex club called the Office and they also happen to be Doms.

When these two Doms spot Chloe, they know they want her, they can see the submissive in her. They think one night will be enough but they quickly realise one night is not enough and they want her forever.

It gets complicated, sneaking around, hiding her relationship from her dads, all three of them.

Engaging, this story moved at a great pace, and the characters are amazing.

That ending killed me! Be warned it ends on a cliffhanger.

It’s a yes from me.

Forgive me, fathers. I'm about to sin.

As a fan of the three P's from The Confessions series I was glad to hear we would have more of them in this series featuring their daughter, Chloe'. I will admit I am not usually a big fan of D/s relationships but this one is as intriguing as the men are captivating and intense, while she is a likable heroine as she explores new things.

Chloe' is bold, headstrong, sassy, adventurous, and a bit spoiled by her three fathers and older brother. She is also smart and a talented chef. She shares characteristics with the men who raised her and dote on her. But her quest for something exciting leads her into a situation she never saw coming.

Ethan Holt is all about control...in his business, in his relationship, and in his bed. He is serious, intimidating, mysterious, and always in charge. Zayne Copeland is his partner in business, life, and pleasure. He is charming, playful, impulsive, and a bad boy. They own a sex club and often enjoy their time there. But the arrival of one young, gorgeous redhead sets them off on an unexpected course.

It is only supposed to be one night with clear boundaries but turns into more. It is sensual, raw, dirty, and intense. And they all seem to thrive on their connection and compatibility and how she fits with them.

This is a good introduction to the characters and the beginning of their relationship. They all have backstories and family dynamics that have shaped them and are gradually being revealed. Ethan is almost always in control and Zayne shares it at other times. And even though Chloe' is strong-willed, she can also be compliant.

But Chloe' already has three overprotective men in her life..actually, four if you count her brother. How will she do with two more? And Ethan and Zayne do not really have much of an idea about where Chloe' comes from and what they might be up against if they decide they want to try to keep her.

This is a seductive, steamy, M/M/F book with interesting and complex characters. I am looking forward to the next two books and seeing how things progress...and getting more time with my favorite fathers.

This book was provided to me in exchange for an honest review.

When I saw that the Confessions series was continuing on, with Joel, Julien, and Robbie's daughter Chloe as the main character, I was SCREAMING. This series (and Try) is one of my favorite things ever.

Chloe is a little spitfire and getting to see our favorite male poly trio together and happy as DAD'S just warmed my heart. And getting to know Ethan and Zayne was just as good. Ethan is drool-worthy and is a total dom. Zayne is a switch and is much more playful than Ethan, but is the perfect partner for that man. And both Ethan and Zayne together, especially when you add Chloe into the mix... #fire

This book does end on a little bit of a cliffhanger, so be prepared if you're going into this looking for a HEA or HFN. There is at least one or two more books coming, but I can already tell that this trio is going to end up so happy. And I'm in love.

Ella Frank - dang girl, this book is hot, hot, hot!

Like David Rose... I am obsessed with this!

Seriously, Chloe, Zayne and Ethan have sparks flying from
the first minute to the last.

Chloe's dads are my favourite throuple, so it was great to get
back into the Chicagoverse years down the track.

i will say though, that Chloe's age made things a bit cringey
for me at times (but this is just a Janeane thing).

I loved how they all open up (not that way, you dirty birdie -
though yes, that too haha),
especially as we learn more about the boys.

Speaking of the boys, I spent so much of the book wondering
why Ethan's name was so familiar. Ella has told us we haven't
met him before, and then BAM at about 70% it hit me -
it is the same name as the leading man in Leisa Rayven's
Bad Romeo series (but definitely no relation!).
So if you are reading along and wondering why he is familiar,
that is probably why.

Looking forward to finding out how her dad's deal with things
in the next book.

In the meantime, Ethan and Zayne send their love

Where to begin?

Well that opening is literally a banger of a way to introduce Chloe, Ethan & Zayne...

Um yep as always and appreciated Author Ella Frank knows how to lure us the reader into these extraordinary worlds of hot men and women you want to...

I loved this book! Devoured it in a couple of hours because honestly, once you start, you will not be able to stop because you NEED to know what hot sexy mess these 3 will get into.

And the mess or rather sinful lies, stolen moments, sexy times, and the new lessons they all three learn from each other were a blast to read.

SO many sexy, loving, funny, sexy again and characters we love are in this book!

And that cliffy of an ending had me all blushing cherry red and squealing in excitement to see what will happen next.

This book can be read as a standalone but believe me you want to read this whole series once you finish this book if you haven't already!

Get ready to have your body explode in ways you didn't know it could.

4.5 Rating

Thank you Ella for my ARC! I was pleasantly surprised when I ended up winning a copy!

I DEVOURED THIS BOOK!!!!! Honestly, I couldn't wait until I got my hands on it and I'd have to say the wait was worth it! Ella and Brooke had mentioned in their livestream that the first two chapters alone were the spicest ones ever. They did not lie in the slightest! I was practically holding my breath. I've been a fan of both of Ella's work for a few years now and I'd have to say, this book just blew things out of the water. I'm shocked she hasn't gone this direction until now, and I love it!

From the moment Chloe walked onto the scene, I fell in love with her. She definitely has elements from each of her dad's (aka The Princess, the Prick, and the Priest from the first 4 books in the Confession series). Sassy, stylish, determined, fiery, and of course she curses in French like I hoped! She's also a bit of a troublemaker when it comes to Ethan and Zayne. Their conversations were entertaining and the sexual tension between them all was enough to make me want more.

As for Ethan and Zayne....I can't even express the amount of words I have for them, but I'll try my best. These men are...intimidating as heck, but also love their interactions and the way they practically melt the pages of my book. There's still so much we need to learn about these men. Of course we got to see a little bit into Zayne's backstory, being the son of a bigamist senator that just uses him for his image instead of treating him like a son. Ethan is still a mystery to me besides the little blurb we got about him and Zayne meeting for the first time. So we'll see what the next two books bring.

The other little thing I enjoyed was seeing Chloe's dads in the time skip. Probably the one other thing I was looking forward to the most. Robbie, Julien, and Priest haven't changed much at all, besides their age. They're all still the best throple and you can feel the love that they have for each other as well as their children, Chloe and Justin. The way they interact with their little family, it warmed my heart to see them like that. The kitchen scene was really sweet and obviously, I worry for the future when they find out what their daughter has been up to. Also, one thing I hope to see is more information about their son, Justin. I feel like he deserves his own story later on and hopefully we'll see more of him soon!

Now onto the spice....well...I'd have to say, Ella did a fantastic job as usual. This was the first time we looked into the BDSM community and it was different than the normal spicy scenes I've read in the past. Ella did a pretty good job explaining how the roles as subs and doms as well as the other terminology behind it. I hope we get to see them delve a little more into things in the future. I'll try not to give away too many spoilers, but let me just say best scene....the car. That's all I'm gonna say.

As for the ending, well I kind of saw that coming a mile away haha but it still made me react the way I imagined. Honestly, I would've finished the book awhile ago when I first received it, but honestly I kept the last two chapters there because I didn't want to end it that quick. Now I have to wait until April for the next book to come out :( Hope the release date gets here soon!

Overall, it was a pretty good start to this relationship and I can't wait for the next two books!

Okay, so listen… I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about this one because y’all know I’m picky when it comes to MMF. I’m very “girl, don’t get in the way of my gays” about it. But Ethan surprised me—in a slow, simmering, “how did I end up caring this much?” kind of way.

Ethan Holt is exactly my type of emotionally repressed disaster man—buttoned-up, precise, haunted. He’s the calm center of this hurricane, and when you realize how much pain he’s been carrying alone, it hurts. But then there’s Zayne—a walking flirt, all easy charm and golden-boy energy. He pushes Ethan’s buttons in the best ways, and their chemistry? Electric. Like smoldering glances across a bar and tension so thick you could slice it with your teeth.

Then enters Chloé. I’ll be real: I side-eyed her at first. I don’t usually connect with the woman in an MMF dynamic, but Chloé isn’t there to be a plot device or afterthought. She’s strong, independent, confident—but still soft where it matters. And she’s not there to take anything away from Zayne and Ethan’s bond. She completes it. They all balance each other out—Ethan’s restraint, Zayne’s fire, Chloé’s warmth.

The steam? Whew. Ella Frank does not hold back. The sex is hot, yes, but what really melted me was the emotional intimacy. The way they see each other. The way they choose each other. There’s jealousy, hesitation, vulnerability—and it’s written with so much care that nothing feels forced.
This book is about letting love in, even when it feels dangerous. It’s about chosen family, healing old wounds, and finding someone (two someones) who make you feel safe.

My Final Rating:
Poly tension: 8/10
Emotional gut punches: 8.5/10
Steam that makes you fan yourself: 10/10

Confessions: Ethan is book seven of this series and begins a new sub-series within the Chicagoverse. It is the start of a standalone trilogy telling the story of Ethan Holt, Zayne Copeland and Chloe Thornton-Priestley. A sexy bdsm, age-gap, MMF romance about two Doms and a wildcat, which is fun and fast moving.

Ethan and Zayne are best friends, lovers and business partners who own The Office. Ethan is the confident but quiet one of the pair. He is Zayne’s guiding hand when he gets into trouble and is always in control so his word is final in all they do. Zayne is an arrogant, cocky bad boy, a flirty charmer with a devilish smile. They are settled in their relationship but also enjoy the advantages that come with owning a private adults only club.

Chloe “Red” is the wild-child of Joel, Julien and Robbie from the first three books of the Confessions series and #4 The Princess, The Prick and The Priest. If you’ve not read the books, then this will make you want to go back and check out her fathers. The author does introduce her fathers and you get to see their individual personalities and the loving family she has grown up in.
She is fiercely independent and headstrong so to celebrate her nineteenth birthday she persuades her cousin Shalya, to take her to The Office. She is curious about everything that happens there but is shocked when their night out becomes a life changing and eye opening experience for her.

Chloe finds the demonstration by the owners fascinating and is intrigued by their dynamics. They are intimidating and powerful men who she unexpectedly feels drawn to. Ethan and Zayne are mesmerised by the innocence looking red-head watching them and decide she would be perfect for them that night. Things don’t turn out how they had hoped but luckily the mysterious young lady returns the next night so the games begin. The pair are sure she has a submissive side hidden away and excited to bring it out of her. She had been searching for something in her past relationships but never dreamt or imagined it would be being a submissive to two Doms.

Could she really be compliant and willing to explore being a submissive. Is she too rebellious to
like being told what to do. She adapts under their guidance and is shocked how much she enjoys herself. They make her feel complete and give her a sense of contentment but she keeps her
interactions with the men a secret so it will be interesting to see her fathers reactions. There are plenty of steamy scenes, how could there not be with these two hot men, but the author cleverly leaves a lot of what happens to the readers imagination to keep the fast moving pace of the story.

“We’re definitely in the mood for something a little French tonight.”

I loved reading about how the two men met and developed their relationship to be what the other needed. Their relationship is very solid as they belong to each other so although they regularly invite a third to join them, do they need a permanent one? While they negotiate with Chloe, they also have to deal with Zayne’s awful father so it will be fun seeing how he reacts to her fathers.
There was great banter between her and her brother and sweet moments with her fathers. Even though I guessed the cliffhanger, it didn’t spoil my enjoyment of this book, however, I do wonder what is going to happen next to allow for another two books about these three.

I'm sorry to say, that this book did nothing for me. It's not even much of an MMF story- more of a Dom/sub-lite that tried to add a third. It does NOT work. A lot of the book is just plain boring, and nothing happens.

There is a lot of, "Ooh, I'm going to be in so much trouble for this!" business that makes zero sense. For someone with 3 gay fathers, she protests too much, and she doesn't give her own fathers credit for understanding. I hated that part.

Zayne and Ethan have a back story that is far more interesting than anything to do with Chloe, but it's her story that overtakes the plot. Why the book is called "Ethan" is a mystery.

If you're looking for a real MMF book, look elsewhere. This isn't it. There is nothing about compersion or equality among the participants; it's just a bossy guy who wants to control his two possessions. If you get off on spanking, however, then have at it. I think it's abusive.

The part at the end also makes no sense and is pretty off-putting. It's odd that a top restaurant would want to take a catering job from a known homophobe politician. They would have turned him down flat, but the "drama" of it is obvious from miles away. No surprises there. Also, I found it annoying that the homophobe was characterized by being conservative as if that went hand-in-hand with homophobia. That's just wrong and will probably alienate some readers for good reason.

I'm sorry the author seems to have lost her way after the magic of her earlier books. This one just doesn't work on any level.

Ella did not disappoint with this book. You can tell she really did her research on B D $$$$ M and it shows in how she wrote the book. I fell in love with Priest, Robbie and Julien in their four books and I devoured reading a second generation series and seeing more of them. There were some times where Chloe got on my nerves as a character but I really loved watching her learn things about herself in this book. Ethan and Zayne definitely did not disappoint either. I love how these two already had an established relationship and openly discussed bringing in Chloe as a third without making rash decisions or messing with their dynamics.

I would love to see Justin - Chloe’s brother - get his own book. I can’t say enough praise for this book and this series.
