I liked this book more than the first even though it was mostly just filler. I feel book 1 and book 2 would have been much better just written as 1 book. Much of the scenes just felt like rinse and repeat, and it was frustrating because it didn’t advance the story line.
Oh, and I really wanted to cut a couple of bitches in this book 😡.
Book 3 will take place in the future. And here we go …

I was pleasantly surprised by how much more I enjoyed
Book 2 then book 1. I feel like Gideon and Avery’s relationship develops so much more in book 2. The spice is perfection. I feel like there is a good balance of romance and spice and the plot is not sacrificed for the sake of spice. I’m the first book Gideon came off a bit creepy but by book 2 I felt like the relationship between Audrey and Gideon developed well and had you rooting them along the way. I was not ready for this book to end.

I got this book as an ARC for an honest review.
I do regret saying this but I had to DNF this book. I really don't like DNF'ing books but this time I could not finish this book. I have been trying and am 70% through and that is me forcing myself to try to finish.
I thought the first book in the Bound to You series was alright. I was surprised how quickly Avery said ILY for how much she disliked him. The second book I think is very long winded, things that are self explanatory are explained again and again. Avery and Gideon break up or get upset about the most minimal things and it van be quite annoying.
I think these two books could have been wrapped into one book which would have been a decent read.

I definitely enjoyed book two more than book one. The drama that unfolded between not only between Avery and Gideon but side characters as well was great for the storyline. I do think it dragged on a bit and got repetitive with the back a forth of them not being able to tell anyone about their relationship and Gideon getting mad at Avery for wanting to. I very much so can’t wait to see what happens in book three for these two.

Dark bully romance, enemies to lovers , forbidden love , stepsiblings , taboo , wealthy boyfriend . So many of my all time favorite tropes wrapped into a series that just keeps getting better and better with Every single book . Beautifully Wicked is the second book in MJ’s Bound To You Series ( and it picks up right where the first one ended . I really don’t want to give any details away as this really is one series best experienced by going into it with a completely open mind . But what I will say is that it’s not often I come across a author or a series that has the ability to hold my attention and stir so many unexpected feelings in me quite the way this one has and I read a ton of dark romance. There were moments I was speechless, others I was literally on the edge of my seat anticipating what would happen from one second to the next . Gideon and Avery’s journey is not a easy one by any means , It’s filled with intrigue, secrets , lies , twists and turns, second chances , angst , heartbreaking and heartfelt moments, family , friendships, obstacles, wonderfully written characters and much much more . So settle in and grab on tight because i I can guarantee it’s going to grab onto all your emotions and pull at your heartstrings in ways you will not be expecting. In short it’s a must read , it’s unforgettable, unputdownable and a masterpiece.

I love this story. Forbidden romance, taboo step sibling romance, bully, he falls first. 🔥🔥🔥 lots and lots and lots of spice!
This book is sexy as hell, and tears your heart to pieces. You’re rooting for their romance to work out, for them to finally go public, but everything is an obstacle. Money and college tuition being the number one reason for them to keep their romance a secret…which I get, and sneaking is sexy, but is slightly frustrating. Then parents trying to set them up, and then BLACKMAIL 😱
My one complaint about this book is some of writing is a little immature…the constant “Giddy” from the FMC, especially during sex, just felt childish and didn’t fit the vibe of the story. “Giddy” is not a name you should be moaning lol, Gideon does just fine! Especially since Jillian calls him Giddy, I kinda wished the FMC would find her own name for him that fit the more grown up relationship that they have…versus the mother and baby boy relationship where he got the nickname from. It kind of turned me off in a big way. “Giddy” was CONSTANT throughout. A little too much. And “Give me your v-card”…no one talks like that…
That one complaint is easily looked over, as I devoured this story in as little as two hours because I couldn’t put it down.
It’s a good, easy, sexy read.

This is the second book in Bound To You series picking up where book one left off so you will need read the first book in the series to understand and this one will also leave you hanging just why must we wait ☹! To recap Gideon sexy as all, get out has been bullying his stepsister and in his head she belongs to him and him only. They explore their feelings and their relationship is going full force trying to keep it on the downlow is driving her crazy they hindsight is everything I said that to say we can see it as the readers and will warn you ahead of time DO NOT THROW YOUR TABLET AT THEIR (YEP I SAID THEIR) HEADS BECAUSE YOU WILL WANT TO!!!!! The secret is out of the bag changing everything for both of them not only in school but at home as well it is a relief for Avery because was being torn in so many ways not to say Gideon wasn’t but it was a little different for him in his mind and heart she is his girl but will their parents see it that way, will their classmates understand it, and where are they headed but I have one main questions WHY MUST WE WAIT TO SEE WHERE IT IS HEADED?????.

Beautifully Wicked picks up right where Beautifully Ruined left off. Gideon and Avery's relationship develops more and things start to take their toll on Avery. Even though they love each other and their best friends know the truth, having to hide how they feel just might be their undoing. Avery wants to tell people, she doesn't want to keep it a secret anymore but Gideon doesn't feel the same. He knows that their parents won't see it the same way as they do. Because his father is well known, it will create a huge scandal and he will loose his trust fund. I guess money can control everything.
Even with this argument they still love each other and continue to grow. Gideon wants her to go to college with him so they can be closer and not have to fully hide, but she has her mind set on a different school. After time he understands and will give up his possessiveness over which school because he loves her. On the day of their graduation party they are happy and excited for the future together. Because of this they make one drastic mistake and don't lock they door. Of course their parents walk in on them and it all goes downhill from there. Their parents BLACKMAIL them like what! So, Avery makes the hard choice and decides to move away so Gideon can still have his trust fund and dreams. But little did she know he gave it all up and left because he doesn't want any of it if he cant have her.
I definitely love this book way more than book 1. It not only shows the development of the characters but also the way the author keeps us on the edge of our seats while were reading this. And the spice is definitely there along with all the sweet moments they share together. But the cliffhanger of an ending is not fair. I need to know what happens or if they can ever be together again. Can they get their HEA? I need book 3 immediately please!

Improved a bit
Much like book 1 this one keeps going in circles. They’re arguing over the same things which make absolutely no sense. Random things get added in for shock value but I feel like they bring no value to the plot. The story doesn’t feel like it’s well put together. It feels like there are parts missing. I think maybe the writing style is not for me. Some of the content contradicts each other or is repeated like it hadn’t been mentioned before. If I had a dollar for each time they said they shouldn’t be together I would be rich. Why do their conversations sound like they’re children? I mean they do adult things. I think book 1 and 2 could’ve been put into one to avoid all the repetition and to make the story more concise.
I will say though the story did improve around 89% in. I will be reading book 3 to see how it all ends.

This is the second book that I have read from this author and is the 2nd book in this Bound To You series. This is a taboo romance, a forbidden step brother read that picks up right where book 1 finished which is great.
This story carries on with Avery and Gideons story and you will love reading it. Gideon is still being the alpha male that is very possessive of his step sister. Avery hates her step brother and after her mother remarried she now has no choice but to be around him.
These characters have a push and pull kind of relationship and they have a lot of chemistry between each other too. This book is full of steamy sexy moments and This dark bully romance book with a taboo feel to it starts of great that I really recommend everyone reads.

Gets Better
I want to start this off by saying that this story has a great concept! It captures real feelings people irl would have in this situation. I love that. I like that we get to feel what the characters feel. It also definitely takes on the age correctly.
However, I feel like this does have moments where I have to reread to understand why someone is acting a certain way, or feel like I missed something vital. The writing style for me was a bit difficult to get into, but that happens to everyone every now and then.
I will be looking into the author and reading their other books for sure, just to give another chance and see if maybe I was off my game while reading.
The story, as I said, is a great concept. The characters are awesome. The taboo side of it is always awesome as well! Definitely read worthy!

This is the second book in the Bound to You Series and I couldn’t wait for this book and it did NOT disappoint!! So so good!! This book starts with Gideon home sick with pneumonia and Avery continues to go to school and she comes home on the weekends. I just love how close they have gotten over the last several months and how they stick up for each other when needed. Yes they are technically step siblings but no blood relation but still can’t say a word and it gets really hard on Avery. Avery looses weight and gets sick and then something bad happens that I figured would happen but didn’t want to happen. Can’t wait for the next book!!

Beautifully Wicked picks right up where Beautifully Ruined left off. Gideon and Avery continue to navigate their forbidden romance/relationship. This one really rips your heart out of your chest! It becomes very apparent how negatively the secrets, lies, and deception are impacting them as a couple/individuals. We slowly watch things unravel for Gideon and Avery until the whole relationship hits --- no SLAMS into a solid wall (ripping your already-out-of-chest heart into shreds).
This book will not leave you disappointed, and you can join me while we white-knuckle our chairs waiting for book 3 to be released!

Where will book 2 leave Gideon & Avery?
Definitely worth 5 stars. I believe the author has definitely knocked it out of the park with book 2 - Beautifully Wicked. This is the continuation of Gideon & Avery's story & I couldn't wait to read it after book 1. Book 2 definitely continues with the spice, steam & darkness. Will Gideon & Avery's world come crashing down?
I honestly can't wait for book 3.

College Dilemmas
MJ Masucci’s second book in her Bound To You series is a wonderful story but can be a bit frustrating. The two main characters, Gideon and Avery, are step-siblings by marriage only and have feelings for one another. They now must decide where to go to college which they can’t agree on. This book is full of exciting adventure and sexual situations that were so riveting I couldn’t put it down until the very last page. With the end being a cliffy, I can’t wait for the next book. Highly recommended and definitely a MUST read!

Definitely not what I wanted to happen in this book. It left we wanting so much more for Avery and Gideon even though their relationship is taboo. But I was definitely pulling for their happiness. Now I need to read Part 3 because there is still so much more to happen with them.

The book had my attention from the start. Th love affair had some twists and turns from being caught out by an enemy to spliting up a few times. Being placed in a predicament and fighting their way out and being stringer than ever. Gideon was a pull between a very strong character who treats Avery like she means the world to him to becoming the guy you want to smack and ask what the hell is wrong with you! I loved everything about the book but hated the cliff hanger. Would definitely recommend to be added to the TBR pile!

This is the second book in this fascinating trilogy, and this story picks up where the first one ended. Gideon and Avery, stepsiblings, who embark on a taboo relationship. This story ends in a cliffhanger, and I cannot wait tot read the next book. This is a well written story which is dark, raw, gritty, intense, and intriguing, with angst, emotions, misunderstandings, family, friendships, secrets, bullying, extortion, deception, and love, which leads to a steamy and thrilling page turner.

This is the book 2 of the Bound to You Series. It’s a part of a trilogy so the books must be read in order. Book ends in a cliffhanger. It picks up right where book 1 left off. Book 2 is just as good as book 1. There is a lot more push and pull between Gideon and Avery. Clover is a hoot and I love her love for Avery. It’s a good read for sure, but I do HATE how easily Avery gave up on Gideon and I HATE how stubborn Gideon is.

This second book in the series picks up where the first one ended. Gideon and Avery are involved in a taboo relationship since they are step siblings related by marriage. They are trying to prevent others from discovering their relationship. There is a great deal of angst in this book. Their relationship is such a push-pull thing where no one wants to give. There are a lot of misunderstandings that of course move the plot along. This book also ends in a cliff hanger and resolves in the last book in the series.

Gideon & Avery reprise their role in the Bound to You series in book two, Beautifully Wicked. This book is not a standalone, book one will need to be read first. Gideon & Avery are amazing characters and I could not wait for to read this book. This is a wonderfully written dark steamy stepbrother romance and I loved every minute of it. It kept me on my toes and reading as fast as I could.

So truth this one was rough said they got caught but it took forever to get there. Also wish this was only 3 books. I love the spicy between Giddy and Avery those scenes are so good. so it took forever for them to get found out since they are step siblings. Then you had a cliffhanger. I felt that took forever and that their story needed to end. I feel bad saying it but I will be skipping to the end of the 3rd book. I feel in love with the character it was to drag out for me. But someone else may love that.

I enjoyed book 2 so much more than book 1. Beautifully Wicked picks up right where Beautifully Ruined ends and I loved how Gideon and Avery’s relationship developed. There was a good balance of romance, plot, and spice. I loved how the spice added to the story instead of taking away from it. I was rooting for these two from the beginning and shit hit the fan I was invested in these two. I couldn’t put this book down and I can’t wait for the third book in this series!

I received this book as an ARC and let me tell you the speed in which I binged book 1 then this...phew! I am absolutely living for the ANGST in their story!!! There is nothing I love more than a possessive tortured alpha hero, but also add in the stepbrother angle? I'm sold! Did I LOVE that it's an incomplete story? Absolutely not, but that's a me thing and book 3 will be out soon. I can't wait to see how the story concludes!

So, you will need to read that book to full enjoy this one. This book starts back where we left off. Avery and Gideon are getting closer and dropping some of their defensive. This book does end setting us up for the next installment.

The writing in this is absolutely amazing. The scenes are 🔥 the drama is great , the side characters are great. I was hoping by book 2 their communication would have improved but it hasn’t. They have zero communication skills. But overall I enjoyed it and ready for book 3.

Oh my goodness! This book and series!!!!! So GOOD! I love the characters and Clover and Remy! I was surprised by Avery in this book, and I think she made a HUGE mistake! I am pulling for them. I just now have to wait patiently for book three! After all, they have gone through, I hope that they can get to their Happily ever after.

I really enjoyed the second book a lot. It picked up where the first one left at and we got to see more of a Avery and Gideon and their love story. I knew the ending was coming so I was prepared but it was still sad. I can not wait for the next book to be released. Especially after I read the tidbit of what is yet to come .
