Those shapeshifting fox tricksters with their extra tails and ability to lure people in. It's a "creature of legend" series book that is super brief and fixated on the topic at hand-in this case Japan's kitsune.

There are pictures of shrines around Japan, paintings and images, explanations, and anecdotes to show how intertwined they are with Japanese culture.
