I really enjoyed the characters in this story, and I loved the fantasy elements in this retelling! She is so good at making these fairy tales into an epic fantasy story, and the illustrations are so good!!

The second book picks up with Juliette being summoned to fulfill her duty. She learns things about herself and her family. She is told that she can defeat her cousin Jessamine. Who is searching for her love Peter. Juliette knows the truth about what happened at the ball that night.
We are also introduced to Hunter, the son of a royal guard. He is appointed to protect Juliette on this trip she must endure.
I recommend this series!

This is the second book I have read from Christine Marshall, and I am so glad I stumbled across her on Tiktok. Christine has a wonderful ability to take a classic fairytale and provide such a unique retelling. White as Snow did not disappoint, and I loved every minute of it! I love how the characters link together, and the twists keep the story fresh without losing the charm of the original story. This was such a fun read, and I can't wait for the next one!

A princess in hiding with a huntsman to protect her. Christine Marshall has again taken her imagination to the extreme and retold this classic tale in a way that keeps the reader wanting more. The reader can identify with the characters and really feel all the emotions they deal with. The world building is phenomenal and so realistic, as a reader you can really enjoy entering her world to escape the mundane life we live. She has brilliantly connected Becoming Cinder and White as Snow. It is a book for the whole family and the illustrations are unlike anything else.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. I look forward to reading her upcoming books coming out later this year.

I thought this was such a fun retelling of Snow White. I liked how the author brought in her twists and nods to the original story. It was a fun read. A very clean YA retelling.

This begins right where Becoming Cinder ends. Jessamine is using her dark magic to take over and Juliette must learn to be the light to not only save Jessamine but their kingdom and neighboring kingdoms. With the help of some unusual friends, Juliette learns she is capable of more than she realizes.

Another lovely, fast paced retelling. This time we encounter a certain white as snow queen and a, mostly, merry band of giants. Seven to be exact. Enjoy the love of mythical creatures and nature through this adorable love story
