Zepharius: Volume 3

“I think, if what both you and Ve’k’fïk said is true,” I say, pointing at the objects, “those were Machgen and Htræ.”
I stare at the two broken planets, watching the stranded pieces of rock pull around each other’s orbits in a slow, painful attempt at restoration. Holes littering the surface of each planet are filled with a dim green glow that emits from the cores.
One of the planets is cracked significantly on its southern hemisphere, filling the otherwise darkened planet with a blinding white light from its neighbouring star.
“There’s manufactured debris too.” Lïtsubavïr points. “Look, there’s a ship. It’s split in half.”
My hearts grow cold at the sight of the destruction.
“They were eliminated without a fight.” Lïtsubavïr grits his teeth. “I can understand causing a battle, weakening them to display dominance or keep them in control, but this…”
“It’s merciless.” I finish.

The planet Gisaawek is on the brink of destruction. Facing the threat of another cataclysmic event that will enslave its people for good, Gisaawek’s consumption as well as the destruction of surrounding planets seems inevitable.

Zepharius, one of the free-willed citizens of Gisaawek known as the “Restored”, desperately searches for a way to save everyone.

Together with her team, she ventures to new areas to seek out potential allies and bring forces together in hopes of stopping the second Repression and destroying the one responsible for ruining planets across the galaxy.

Unfortunately, finding help is not as easy as it seems, especially when time and resources are limited. No one knows who is behind the interplanetary manipulation, and every clue feels like a misdirection. Stressful circumstances arise that slowly chip away at the trust within Zepharius’ group.

Zepharius finds herself once again taking the blame and the burdens of the chaos around her. Can she keep everyone together to complete the final life-or-death mission, or will hope fall apart in the end?
