If you’re looking for short monster erotica reads featuring women with beastly creatures in all their monsterrific glory, then Adrian Blue is the author to read. The monsters are always what they seem – if it’s a dragon shifter, then you’re getting a scaly dragon in the hot and steamy action, or if it’s a forest creature, you’re getting hard wood and soft tendrils planting its seed. This is an amazing collection of nine smutty monster tales where the creature may have a non-typical appearance but has genuine feelings and love for the object of his affection. The variety of monsters is great too – I can’t tell you how many times I see FB requests where someone says ‘I know this may seem like a strange kink but..’ and oh, so many times I happily reply with a link to an Adrian Blue story. I actually own all of the stories individually and this collection is a true bargain for those looking to own the author’s works. This collection includes:

Overall, a solid collection.
I liked most of them--a few were kinda meh and others were great.
**I read The Sacrificial Chamber a year or so ago on its own. Just noting it.

I loved The Tomb and Dominated by the Deep. The Tomb's vampiric creature and the setting were great. Loved the overall premise. Dominated by the Deep was just...whew. Great stuff. These both would make great longer stories.

I love a good forest god, but that one was just too brief. Mate of the Sea had an interesting beginning but the story itself was kinda weird and awkward, with the FMC being in the dark about everything. The Dragon's Bride was the most meh, just kinda there, as was The Sacrificial Chamber.

Taken by the Monster Under the Bed is the first in the collection and a pretty wild start. I would have liked more information about the paintings and stuff. Captured by the Gargoyle starts with a short fairy tale synopsis and then weaves a pretty cute story about a princess and a gargoyle. The Spawning is a pretty cool, future sci-fi possibilities type deal with some little squirmy friends.

In general, don't ask too many questions and you won't be disappointed. The ones that I liked more had promising backgrounds to the FMCs but you're not going to get a satisfying ending where a relationship blossoms and lore is explored in any of these (except the gargoyle one, I guess, as that has the most cohesive, full story feel). There's minimal story serving as a smut vehicle, and sometimes that's what we want.

Having recently read Mated To The Minotaur I was so excited when I found this book a whole anthology of women falling in love with monsters but that isn’t exactly what it is. It’s women meets monsters get scared and then a second later gets turned on by said monster. I do want to make clear the stories in this book were very interesting there’s one with a girl running from the mob and takes a job running an inn in Bucharest there’s another one about a girl who set up a hospital in a little village and on her way back she almost gets sacrifice by the forest gods and so the stories areinteresting and if you’re looking for erotica you’ll totally enjoyed this book I myself am not into that but to each his own no judgment here because if you are into that these are really good stories with the erotica throne and I just wish the monsters would’ve had a few redeeming qualities most of them didn’t even speak English now having said that, if this sounds like something you like then go for it there’s about five or six stories and all those summer short there’s still whole stories. Please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.

First off . . . Wow!!
So many tentacles and claws and monsters that my twisted little heart is just a babam'ing away with every new story in this dark and delicious anthology.

Yes, yes my pretties be ready for all those things that are easily denied you. You will find it here. Be it claws, alien insemination, teeth, humans at the central of a spawning, breeding - all that cryptid love gathered together in one steamy book.

So look at the cover people, it should be enough to warn you of the fun to come because it dirty, filthy, and oh so delicious. Though it's not for the faint of heart. Enjoy.

This was a collection of quick and dirty monster romance reads. There is no shying away from the fact these are monsters with no human emotions or body types. It made for some interesting reads but in a fun way as it's different from most stories I read. I loved how quickly I was able to read through these as the lengths of each story vary but are mainly short. Definitely has the heat, although some of the monsters are actually very sweet. Overall, I enjoyed each story in it's own way and look forward to reading more from this author.

I really enjoyed this great collection of short monster erotica. This was the first I've read by this author. I love the sheer variety of the monsters in each story, so they all feel different- from tentacled monsters to dragons, aliens to sea creatures, forest gods to gargoyles. I couldn't wait to see what would come up next. As a warning, some of these feature dubcon or noncon in some form, which isn't for me, but overall a nice collection. 4 stars.

I feel like this one is hard to rate since it consists of more than one writer. Some of the stories were worthy of five stars some were worthy of none. The one issue I had across the board is that every story had plot holes. Big issues that left the reader wondering what happens next. When reading something like this where there is no continuation of the story that 'what if' bothers me because I know there will be no resolution.

Adrian has provided us another must read collection. She has provided us with some monsters who could be a shadow who lives under your bed or to a king with tentacles and a hidden family jewel.

These books are short standalones and there are no cliffhangers.

Adrian Blues short stories never disappoint. Each one has enough world building to know exactly what's going on.Then there's the spice, well written considering the MMC is not human. Some of the shorts had me saying good golly and giggling. Finishing each story with a HEA gave me all the happy wholesome feels despite the spice factor

The first anthology I read by this author had more romance based stories (mates etc), but this one collection was still interesting. I didn’t like all of the stories, but they did keep my attention, and I will say that a couple of them were quite sweet.

This is an anthology of a collection of the author's various other books. They can be found separately but this is a good collection of different monsters all getting it on with their female leads. Not much plot to be found, but that's not why we're here reading this book is it LOL? Spice a solid 4/5.

Otherworldly

Nothing about these are humanoid and the stories are unique in their own ways. This felt like a quick read, more than others I have read.
