Caitriona

I’m having my ex’s baby.
Safe to say that’s not ideal
Especially because he doesn’t even know that I’m alive.

Now my son’s life is on the line
and I'll do whatever it takes to protect him,
Including getting back together
with the man who tore my heart and soul apart.

Gabe

I saw her die in a fire.
But then like a phoenix,
She has risen from the ashes

She's no longer the sweet innocent girl I loved
She’s tough, feisty and passionate.
I’m drawn to her in ways I never imagined.

Someone made the biggest mistake of their life
by trying to take our son away.

I will destroy anyone who gets in my way.
There will be blood.
And it won’t be mine.

This book is a perfect example of when an author understands the assignment👍👍
and boy oh boy did Ms Kaina deliver!

THIS IS WHY I AM SO TENDING TO READ A LOT OF INDIE AUTHORS THIS YEAR

they are smashing it with fresh ideas, amazing writing and damn powerful characters

it is a 4.6 read 🌟🌟🌟🌟⚡(it should be a perfect 5 except for minor tiny set backs)

Although the book is part of a series, you can read it as a standalone (like I did) and understand everything
and like always, becuase this is a dark dark Mafia Romance, check Trigger Warner
There are themes like
Trafficking
Rape
Assault
Violence
Explicit sex scenes

Caitriona went to the bottom pits of Hades but, like a phoenix, managed to emerge from the flames stronger and more determined to live and protect her loved ones

Gabe, even though was told she died, never lost hope deep down in his heart that maybe someday he would find her
and he did, with a tiny surprise along the way

the book is action packed with memorable characters and heart felt moments, add to that Caitriona being a badass strong and vulnerable Female lead, making this one of the best book I read so far this year because I am a sucker for a strong female lead in a book since they are rarer than me being hit by a lightening

there is a plot twist at the end, and what I loved was that, although you speculate it, you still feel a bit of a doubt that you could be wrong

There were, however, some tiny bity of annoyance that, without, would have made this a perfect 5

1- who was that girl Gabe identified as the dead Cait , and how did they manage to put the same freckels on her body?
2- one time, Gabe addresses the readers, as if he were breaking the fourth wall, it was unnecessary
3- some characters like Raven and Greta were annoying, but maybe if I have read the first book I would have understood them more
which I am most definetly going to do

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

WooooHooo what a freaking ride!! I have left bed every single book from this series since the very beginning! The connection that Gabe and Cait have is seriously unmatched to say the least. This man has never once forgotten about the love of his life and with every single thing Cait has been through she never once stopped loving Gabe but she taught herself how to survive how to be a MFKN warrior a true fighter and I was here for it. This book will hold your attention from beginning to end and everything in between! The love these two share was written in the stars! I love watching Gabe become reacquainted with who Cait is now compared to who she was back when they were young but their fire and heat was explosive!! Such an amazing read and a great series!

3.5 stars!

Corrupted Vows was a wild and emotional ride. Caitriona has been captive for quite some time and is rescued by Nacio after surviving a fire that burned her physically and mentally. Rising from the ashes, she became Phoenix and has dedicated her life to exacting revenge on those who have wronged her, others, and raising her child.

Gabe lost the only woman he has ever loved but never gave up searching and hoping. He spends years busting trafficking rings. When he comes face-to-face with Caitriona who is in fact, alive, he is shocked and saddened. There is SO much that has happened between the two of them and not all of it is the truth. Realizing her child is also his, he intends to rekindle their love even though Caitriona wants no part in a future with him...right?

"I think you've built up strong walls, Phoenix, but you built them around your heart, so they won't do a bit of good against him."

"Why not?"

"Because he's already in there," he said, nodding toward my chest. "You can't keep out what already lives inside."

I really enjoyed Gabe's character. He was alpha male goodness and I loved the way he handled Caitriona. He was good for her and brought her back from a life of numbness. Caitriona was a little harder to like because she tried to be badass but I found her lacking some intelligence at times. She has been through so much and I can't fault her for guarding her heart but she did flip rather fast from "I want no part of this" to "take me now, I'm yours." The story in here was well thought out but was rather heavy and emotional and I wasn't quite prepared for that. There were a lot of working parts, angsty suspense, and revelations and it felt like too much at times. However, I applaud Kiana for tying up all the loose ends that needed to be tied up. Overall, a solid mafia romance with heat, action, heart, and passion.

"I just want you. Forever."

What an intense story!

Cait gets taken many years ago. Gabe saw her lifeless body. But that turns out not to be the truth.
And now many years later, Gabe and Cait encounter each other again unexpectedly. And now their child is in danger.

I ate this book up. Cait has been through so so much. She is rescued by Nacio and has been raising her son. She is fierce and strong. And with Gabe, she has a powerful connection.

Gabe has been making it his mission to save women because he was unable to save Cait. He is a great character and puts his family first.

Gabe and Cait are a force to be reckoned with. Kiana Hettinger is a new to me author and this book was so well written. It kept me hooked until the end.

Highly recommend this book if you love fierce female characters.

Gabe and Catriona

This is a very intense book with a lot of violence and explicit talk about what happens to a human trafficking victim.Raw and parts are unsettling but realistic.I like the whole loyalty/ family dynamics element that is strong throughout the whole series. One of my favorite characters is Nacio, a damaged, sad , very focused crime lord.I would love to have a friend like him have my back.Excellent supporting cast. The plot was good, the sex steamy, enough angst to have you feel the emotions but not be cheesy. Excellent read, maybe my favorite of the series so far.

The best mystery thriller mafia romance! …..5 Stars!

Gabe Costa dedicated his life for the past five years rescuing abducted and kidnapped young women who were sold for sex slavery by the cartel. He’s hoping to find Caitriona, his beloved girlfriend who has been missing for five years. This story is heartbreaking and gut wrenching. It’s full of action, intrigue, mystery, drama, suspense and hot spicy sexy romance. I couldn’t put my kindle down. I loved it!

Part of the Mafia Kings Corrupted series each can be read as a standalone with a ruthless sexy and the women who captures his attention in every way. Hang on and buckle up this is a wild ride, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love (ALL THINGS TO EXPECT FROM THE MAFIA WORLD). By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! CAN’T SAY YOU WEREN’T WARNED!!!!!. Caitriona makes you to reach in giving her the biggest hug, she is one of the strongest girls out there surviving a fire which left her burned leaving not only physical scares but mental as well and being held captive wanting just a little freedom when she is rescued, all she wants is to take revenge and raise her child. Gabe sexy as all get out ruthless when needed vows to find the one women he has loved since day one but when she is taken he spends his time busting up trafficking rings hoping to find her and when he comes face to face with her and a child that belongs to him he will do everything in his power to show her that he loves her, never stopped, has spent the last few years searching for her but sadly she wants nothing to do with him. The attraction is there it is intense the more she fights him the stronger the pull between them grows but opening her heart isn’t easy after going through so much but can he show her that he loves her, he is there to protect her, will she open up accepting everything about herself, will they keep their child safe, and it’s about time they find their own happiness? (be prepared to curse, scream, cry, laugh and feel everything these two go though).

I have no words to be honest. It was dark but so good. There was so many times i just didn’t know what emotions to stick to. The roller coaster that this book was is something I think is now my favorite read of March. I laughed, smiled, cried so damn hard, and fell head over heels for everything this book is. Kiana Hettinger is now an author I will read absolutely anything from if I get to feel like this over and over again.

Absolute perfection

I've enjoyed this series and this book was no exception. Good story and the love story between Gabe and Cat was really good. It just felt really long to me. I kept thinking it was wrapping up and then another plot point was introduced. Good story but it didn't keep my attention like the others.

I had the opportunity to beta read, so things might change between now and then, but I can tell you, this book is so good! This is a second chance story between Cait and Gabe, after years of being tore apart from each other. Cait has gone through so many harrowing circumstances in that time while Gabe has been taking down trafficking rings and himself trying to get past the emotional turmoil of losing Cait. There are definitely lots of teary and heart felt moments in this book along with plenty of suspense, tension and action. There are also many side characters that help shape this story and make it more enjoyable with their banter, interactions, and sense of family. Overall this was an engaging read and I can’t wait for it to come out so it can be widely enjoyed. I will say there are some triggering events so please heed!

★SPOILERS★

I don't know why I feel bad saying this, but this wasn't a good book. There was so much potential, but I was just left disappointed. It wasn't like this book wasn't my cup of tea, but rather, it was right up my alley. However, it didn't reach my expectations.

I read another review where it said the novel can be read as a standalone, and while that is partly true, I think it is better to have read the whole series because there were certain parts that weren't explained very well that I'm sure were explained in the previous books. It would have made reading this a little easier, and perhaps I would have understood certain actions more.

I did like a lot of things about this book, but others not so much.

I didn't really like how Cait's trauma was dealt with. It didn't really feel serious or grave enough like it should have been. I do understand that she had 3 years to heal and that trauma works differently on everyone, but it just didn't make sense for me that even the people around her didn't really seem to fully grasp what she had been through. Nacio is not included in this, and he was honestly the only person I really liked in this book. He seemed to be the only one who truly cared about Cait and understood the difficulties she had with living with the trauma she had.

It was strange to me how Cait was so willing to have sex with Gabe and be rough with him during the act, considering what she'd been through. He's the father of her child and the man she loves, but to me, it didn't make sense how she didn't seem to have any trepidation towards doing anything sexual with him. I did also sometimes feel like there were too many sex scenes for my liking that it made me want to skim them.

Another thing that really bamboozled me was how when Cait tried to shoot Gabe, no one had any sympathy for her. It really pissed me off seeing how everyone was so violent towards her. The way Nico held her, KNOWING what she'd been through, sickened me. No one seemed to give a fuck that she'd been in hell for 2 years and they all just seemed to think she was fine. Just because someone looks like they're doing alright doesn't mean they are.

Her son, whom she blamed herself for not being able to protect, was threatened once again, and she didn't see any way out. What else was she supposed to do when she saw herself trapped once again and reliving the worst time of her life. She wasn't thinking clearly and did something she thought was right. Yes, she tried to kill a family member, but she didn't, and that was what really mattered. Those people clearly didn't have eyes but whatever. No one even tried to understand her perspective until Gabe was brought in. Raven didn't even have a reason to be so mad at Cait like what's that got to do with you. Mind your business bitch. God, she made me so mad with her uncalled for animosity and anger.

It saddened me so much that when both Cait and Raven were kidnapped, it was only Gabe and Nacio that gave a fuck about Cait. Everyone else ran for Raven when really Cait was the one who needed the most help. It really just showed that no one have a fuck about her. She deserved better than the Costa family, and they certainly did not deserve her.

I didn't really care for Gabe either. He did care for her, but he didn't understand her.

This story was just sad to me because, while the human trafficking part pulled at my heartstrings, the way everyone except Nacio didn't give a shit about Cait's trauma, feelings, and perspectives was just devastating to me.

this was an okay read for me. it was a struggle reading everything what cait went through and i'm glad that she's resilient and never let those things held her down. but the heartbreak i felt for her was too much to bear. i'll never understand the bravery of the survivors of trafficking but i'm so proud of them.

gabe and cait's reunion was quicker than i expected. i would've wish for more time before they fall back into what they had once. 5 years is a really long time and they've surely changed to a different person from then. though the feelings they have for each other is still there, i really hoped they talked the important things through first before jumping into any kind of relationship.

can i just admire cait? she's really a badass heroine. not just for what happened to her but also how protective she is as a mom. cait's no doormat and she never give up whatever problems thrown her way. as for gabe his work saving all those girls from trafficking is so commendable. i know that cait's the reason why he went through that path yet he never stopped from doing it even after finding out she's alive. i can't help but swoon how much he loves her and that he never stopped

i do like spice in my romance book, however in this one i tend to skim some of it. there were so many steamy scenes involved here. i find it hot at the start but then it get kind of repetitive along the story.

the plot twist was kind of disappointing i guess, i'm conflicted what to feel about the traitor. i know he has good motives in his head but the way he did it is so not okay. i honestly want to feel anger toward the villain but then i also sympathize with him, idk anymore, he just really had a bad role model.

ps. maybe because i'm so fed up with double standards, i just wanna say that i'm really happy cait was not celibate during their separation. it would really pissed me a lot when gabe fucked around but she never had any action with other men.

The next instalment in the corrupted kings series and I really enjoyed it. Right from the start you were drawn in and eager to see where the story went. We don't really know who she is yet, but from the first few pages we know that she went through something terrible.
We then meet Gabe, playing hero and trying to save lives, but at the same time you can tell he has another mission. You start to wonder why Gabe is doing what he does and what his motivation is. You don't have to wait long because the mission Gabe's just been on, brings him face to face with a lost love, after 5 years of thinking she was dead.
Gabe knew is was her, but because she isn't the same person she was, Cait pretends as if they don't know each other. This doesn't last long and you can see that this is hard for them for different reasons. Cait went through something unimaginable and Gabe cannot correlate what has happened with who she is now.
The story progresses and some secrets come out and soon they are getting to know one another again. They both still really care for one another but the road ahead wont be smooth sailing.
Things happen and Cait ends up back where she came from and it is an adjustment for her. Overall, the story flowed really well, however I did feel like at certain points, not many, that the story slowed down a bit. I also would have liked to have seen a little more action when they got on home soil and I thought given he was one of the bosses in the Mafia that he would have kept in constant communication with his soldiers, especially his second and more so if they were instructed to do anything for him, Having said this I suppose not all Mafia reads will be the same :-)
Toward the end, Cait also made some decisions that were questionable but for her, at the time, she felt she did what necessary to protect the people that she loved and while I enjoyed the spicy scenes, I do love an alpha that likes to talk dirty, so I wouldn't have been opposed to seeing more of that!
In closing, another great read from Kiana and I look forward to reading more of her work!!

Every book in this series is good and I think the plot lines just keep getting more intense and serious. What never changes are just how obsessed and possessive these alpha males are, and the strength these women have. This book had me from the very beginning and I didn't want it to end. I love the relationships between all the characters not just the main couple. It is always great to read about characters from other books and how these family have such tight relationships with one another. I was also shocked by the betrayal of someone, and it crushed me when the family was betrayed.

So, this book is about Gabe, Nico's younger brother. We have been reading about Gabe rescuing sex trade victims and getting rid of the men who kidnap and sale these women. He helped save lots of women and to find out the real reason why he does what he did just made it even more special. I wouldn't have guessed Gabe had been in love the way he had been. His one true love is Caitriona. Cait has been through hell before she was rescued from a fire that killed other women who had been taken and abused. She goes by the name Phoenix now. Her new name fits her perfectly she came out of the fire stronger, she's a fighter and loves hard. She could have given up, but she didn't she fought her way back and came out on the other side stronger than ever. Gabe has no idea he has a kid until he runs into Cait, who was like seeing a ghost. Gabe truly didn't believe what he was seeing and was scared to believe he had found his woman. He soon learns he might have found Cait, but she isn't the same woman he lost years prior. These two are so deserving of a second chance.

I truly appreciate all the details this author puts into her books. The way characters talk to one another, the details in appearances and all the way to facial expressions. We get to read more about Nacio who appeared in the previous book, and of course Gabe's friend Greta who works right next to Gabe saving these women. I'm so excited to see more from these characters and hope quite a few get their own books.

Kiana Hettinger has yet to let me down when it comes to her books. The way she writes draws the reader in and doesn't let you ago until the last page. I feel her plots are always original and exciting to read. She makes sure there is plenty of action, steamy scenes, but most importantly the book has a solid storyline. This series makes me happy because all of the main characters I love from her previous series are a part of this book. That is another gift Kiana has when it comes to writing...seriously making the reader connect with the characters she creates and not wanting to let go. I have an attachment to them all and never wanted the book I was reading to end. She has a way of making the reader feel that they are part the book and not just looking in.

Gabe and Caitriona's story is heartbreaking. But, it is also a story about redemption filled with a lifetime of love. You will feel the emotions of their pain, but you will also feel the depth of their love that they share.

Gabe is a swoon-worthy alpha male who captured my heart with his mission for freeing women who have been sold into slavery. He is an honest man who is driven by the memory of a woman he once loved. Gabe never stopped loving Caitriona and because of that he never fully moved on. Now that everything Gabe has ever dreampt of having is within his reach he will do anything to keep it.

Caitriona has lived a life that nightmares are made of, but with that a strength she never knew was born. Now Caitriona lives for vengance against those who stole her life. She never expects to see Gabe again and is thrown off balance when out of nowhere she finds herself staring into the eyes of the man she once loved. Now all she has to do is open her heart to Gabe and let the rest fall into place.

If you love action, alpha males who know what they want, strong heroines and epic love stories then you will want to add this book to your library.

Corrupted Vows
Kiana Hettinger

I absolutely loved this book. I feel the need to let you know this is a slow burn suspense thriller. As you read each page into each chapter you feel something unpredictable building and building and then BAM dangerous things start to happen and keep happening and happening till the very end.

I will caution readers there are some serious triggers of severe sexual abuse, kidnapping, trafficking, murder and more.

As far as the main characters are concerned they are amazing and very realistic. Phoenix / Cait and Gabe were soulmates torn apart for years by extremely sadistic b#st#rds. I admire Cait who little by little made a life for herself and her
son after a horrific time with the traffickers. Gabe on the other hand dedicated his life to avenge the woman he thought he lost to death.

I loved the supporting characters such as Nacio or as Cait's son Nic called him Uncle Naso. He was too young to pronounce it properly. He was so cute and funny. In such a dark mafia story, Nic lightened the story. Gabe's brothers and their significant others were so supportive and trained for action when the danger arose.

This is a must read. You will not be disappointed.

Good storyline and characters. You dont necessarily have to read the previous books in the series, but since they're interconnected, it does make more sense and easier to follow if you do. I read the last 2 and plan to go back and read the ones before that as well. We see characters from previous books, and the main characters and new characters introduced are intriguing and likable. Their story is heartbreaking but sweet. You really root for them to get past their traumas and find their happiness together. Especially with the adorable Nic. For the most part, I appreciated how strong the mfc was, especially when she was brave enough to go after her kid and her revenge. I was a bit annoyed after she got the ultimatum that she didn't do more to try to let them know what was going on. I thought when she was pulling Gabe into the shower she was going to use that to her advantage to try not to be overhead, then I thought maybe she'll try to pass a note or draw a picture to get the idea across, but she didn't really do anything. Other than that, I really liked the book and the pace of the action. I'm hoping somewhere in the next books are Nacio's story, because that dude definitely deserves a hea, maybe with Greta, and Corrine possibly with a mfm brother sandwich. I'd definitely be up for reading those. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This book gets better and better as you read this book. It's not loaded with action packed scenes but you will find the story that's told is one that needed to be told. This book is Gabe & Caitriona (Cait) love story. They thought their love had been lost for good. Little did they know Gabe never gave up looking for Cait, while Cait buried her love for Gabe deep and focus her love on their son.

Cait also called Phoenix is a new women and one Gabe doesn't & does know. They both have gone through hell to find each other and now they have a son to protect. They're a family and nothing was going to harm Gabe's family. They just found each other.

Gabe & Cait characters came alive through their emotions when they came together. Add in the other elements of the book which has a lot going for it: wonderful characters, suspense, betrayal, twists and unpredictable turns, mystery, action, building trust, loyalty and love, emotions, wonderful sex and steamy romance.

I received a free copy of this book for an honest review. I would recommend this book to anybody who enjoys Dark Mafia Romance, Suspense Romance, Cartel Romance, and Multicultural Romance books. This book is easy to read, a page-turner, and very entertaining so grab yourself a copy, sit down and have a delightful time.

I read a Beta copy of Corrupted Vows, and I really enjoyed this twisted and suspenseful second chance mafia romance. This is the fifth book in the Mafia Kings series and my favorite so far. Each of these books gets darker and better as the series goes on.

Gabe and Cait were engaged and in love before Cait disappeared. Unbeknownst to either of them, Cait was pregnant. Gabe knew that something was off about Cait’s disappearance and has spent years looking for her. He believed she was dead. When he finally finds her, their reunion is complicated. After dealing with years of trauma, Cait is a very different person.

This book is significantly darker than the others in the series. Cait spent years as a s3x sl@ve, and has experienced a lot of violence in her short life. However, I was rooting for her and Gabe to get their HEA the whole time. She has really overcome so much and seeing her get revenge was extremely satisfying. Gabe was also the perfect mix of brutal/nurturing. My heart hurt for him a lot as he tried to help Cait rediscover herself. I also loved their little son who provided levity and comedic relief during the dark times.

This series has been a lot of fun to read. I can’t wait to see where it goes next.

Wow, what an intense ride

I’m not sure how I started on book 5, but here I am. I was not lost at all, so definitely can be read by jumping in here. I really enjoyed it, and will have to go back to read the first 4 books as well.

I’m a big fan of a good mafia book. The key word being “good”. I even enjoy some not great ones, but there are so so many awful ones. You never know when you start a new series what you’re in for. This definitely did not disappoint! It was so well written, I don’t recall any editing issues that distracted me, and I was completely pulled in and had to finish it all in one go. It was an intense ride for sure! It was dark, raw, intense, and filled with so many emotions. Like all of them. I adore a strong female character, and Cait /Phoenix had it in spades. She was such an amazingly complex character, and you will definitely ride the roller coaster of emotions with her. There’s plenty of action, but not the hokey kind. It was the “buckle up because it’s about to get bumpy” kind. Nothing felt forced or contrived. I really just enjoyed everything from start to finish. There are a lot of great characters in this book too, so not only have I preordered the next book, but I’m definitely going to go back to the ones I’ve missed.

This is second chance romance between Gabe and Cait, five years after being separated under very traumatic circumstances. Cait is presumed dead and Gabe has made it his life’s work to find and free trafficked women as a result.

The main characters were likeable and had great chemistry. Despite all the trauma Cait had experienced, she kept fighting to protect the people she loved. It was great to see how Gabe and Cait’s relationship progressed and how they gradually became reacquainted with each other and morphed into a family with their son.

This book has it all; intrigue, suspense, romance, trauma, betrayal AND it is chock-full of action. It is a very entertaining read overall. Characters from the other books in the series featured but I didn’t feel like I was missing anything by not having read all the previous books.

This was an interesting read; my second book by this author and I hope to read more. I vote for Nacio getting his own book; I would love to read it. Thank you to the author and BookSirens for this ARC; I am leaving this review voluntarily.

TRIGGER WARNINGS
Profanity, Sex, Violence, & Death

"What do you do with them when you're done drawing?" I'd asked her.
"I Burn them," she'd said.
OH SHIT!

My Perspective:
1️⃣Mafia Romance
2️⃣Suspence Romance
3️⃣Erotic Romance
4️⃣Second Chance
5️⃣Bratva/Cartel Romance
6️⃣Thriller Romance
7️⃣Contemporary
8️⃣Alpha Romance
9️⃣Adult Romance
🔟Secret Child/Surprise Pregnancy

Well, i'll be damned.

This book was all sorts of good. The plot was thick with suspense, steamy & spicy with hot scenes, & most of all the characters were truely well written & captivating pulling you in with the emotional rollercoaster that they went through. At one point I wanted to cry with Cait, & at a point I wanted to kill the backstabbing prick who'd handed her over to the hell she'd gone through. What a shitload of an experience she went through but still came out stronger than ever. This was a truly wonderful read & I definitely recommend. It a page turner.

What an emotional roller coaster it was reading this book. From the start, you know that horrible things have happened to Caitriona and the more you learn, the madder you get. But you also appreciate what a strong person she is, even if she doesn't fully realize it.

Gabe has been searching for Cait for five years, and even thought she died in a fire at one point. However, that deter him from his mission to save as many trafficked girls/women as he could. Then when he finds Cait, he learns she has a protector in the head of a cartel. And he has a son.

This is one of those stories that will stay with you long after you read the last page. There is so much heartbreak, betrayal, deception, and danger. Also included are many characters from the previous books in the series along with some interesting new characters. Cait and Gabe's relationship is complicated and at times Gabe can't stop himself handling things in a way he knows isn't the best, although his intentions are in the right place. The chemistry between them is so steamy and helps with her healing. Loved this story.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "CORRUPTED VOWS" I was hooked on this story right from the start its a Dark Mafia Romance there are triggers for some be warned, trafficking, rape, assault, danger, revenge, angst, steam, suspense, intrigue, emotional turmoil, twists the make fora very addicting story with fantastic characters that pull you right into all the chaos.
Gabe thought he lost Caitriona in a fire he was dealing with the emotional loss while taking down trafficking rings, feeling his pain was heartbreaking he's driven to save these women, he's never moved on after her.
Caitriona has been through h*ll & back, she wants vengeance against those who stole her life from her, never thinking she'd see Gabe ever again looking into the eyes of the man she truly loved can she open her heart once again & let him in.
I definitely recommend to this interesting, riviting, engaging second chance at love romance ou can't put down its a must read to see what happens you so won't be disappointed.

This is my first book by Kiana Hettinger, but definitely not the last one. I read many mafia books so can say this is one of the best I've read so far.

Gab and Cait meet unexpected after 5 years, he tought she is dead, she tought he moved on.

At first it seems they can't continue their relationship, but after Gabe accepts Cait has changed and Cait realises she still loves Gabe they give each other second chance. Besides they have together a beutifull and smart boy Nico who needs to be protected.
Gabe and Cait have great chemistry 🌶️🥵 and they deserve they own HEA, but they are going fight for it very hard.
Cait is one of the strongest heroins I've ever read and hope to meet with her in next books 👍😉.

I did enjoy this book, I finished it in one day, it has all you want from mafia book, and I definitely need to read previose books from this series!

Wow, Corrupted Vows will leave you speechless! I don't know how Kiana keeps doing this but each book that she writes really pulls you in.
Gabe and Cait lost 5 years of their lives together. Cait died in a fire and Phoenix rose from the ashes. Gabe spend the years searching for answers to questions he didn't even realize he had. Fate brought them back together along with a surprise. Gabe didn't know he had a son and couldn't fathom why Cait kept him secret unless he wasn't his, but one look in those eyes, he felt like he was looking in the mirror.
Not having any idea who would do this or why, Gabe knew he needed to get Cait and Nic back to the states in order to protect them both.
Will Cait allow Gabe the chance to rekindle the life they shared years before or will the unknown captors stop their reconnection before it can even begin?
Kiana, I can't express how much I enjoyed this book!.

Gabe has mourned his fiancé Caitriona for five years to now find her alive and living in Columbia with another crime lord, Nacio Morales. Trapped in a fire and rescued she emerges as the Phoenix stronger than she was before. This is such an emotional story was Gabe and Caitriona find each other again, to Gabe finding out he has a four-year-old son, a son she kept secret from him. I love how Gabe is so patient with her, he slowly brings her back to life, one touch at a time. Cait's emotions were all over the place she doesn't want to be touched yet Gabe makes her skin tingle like it used to before she spent five years held captive by sex trafficker. A great story of two people who were torn apart and are finding their way back together. A captivating story as they continue to bring down sex trafficking rings and the men behind them. This book was completely unexpected and so good. The Mafia Kings Corrupted series deals with human trafficking and CORRUPTED VOWS was by far the darkest foray into that world.

The novel is a second chance romance of two people separated in the most tragic way possible yet never stopped living each other. Gabe and Cait had so much darkness to overcome. Gabe’s family and the other mafia’s of New York appeared to be under threat because of their reunion. Keeping his family safe was Gabe’s mission in the book.

The story expanded the reach of the mafia kings to the cartels of South America, where Cait had been found years after her abduction from New York. I was completely invested in this story from the very first page. Loved it!
