SISTERS - Book 2: Searching For Answers... Layla and her adopted sister, Aria, find themselves in trouble when the bullies of the grade discover what the girls have done. Aria's mistake causes ongoing grief, and the two sisters are at a loss for what to do.
Layla still looks forward to Miley’s birthday party. It is an escape from Mya and Emma and a chance to hang out with her crush, Caden. Unfortunately, her morning doesn't go as planned, and when an argument with her best friend, Cara, erupts, things go from bad to worse.
By chance, she later discovers Aria is being targeted in a whole new way, though she is unsure what is going on. Are their bullies after revenge of some sort? If so, what do they have in store now?
The mystery of the gossip trail and its aftermath continues in SISTERS – Book 2. Filled with more excitement, drama, sibling rivalry, friendships, and suspense, it’s a story that all young tween girls will relate to.
Hi, so excited about being on Goodreads and sharing my Middle School books with you! I live in beautiful Noosa, in Australia. For most of my life I was a teacher of Middle School kids, and what an awesome experience that was. It gave me the opportunity to understand the problems that kids go through. My writing partners are Kaz and Bill Campbell, they were also Middle School Teachers. We hope you enjoy our books as much as we love writing them for you!!!
The second book continues the problem in the first book with the gossip wall and how students have reacted to it. Mya and Emma get called to the office but nothing seems to happen to them.
There's a lesson on how to accept compliments but, on the other hand, there's more threatening material in a locker. Another audition, there's a girl that might, and might not, have an eating disorder and the gossip wall has been painted over but the effects of what it said cannot be gotten rid of so easily.
I think the compliments thing is a really good idea. Health class should not be limited to physical health but should also deal with mental and social health to help a student deal with any personal problems and become more well-rounded.
