A sensitively told story of a young teenager exploring his gender identity

A found this a lovely read. It is sensitively told and explores Nicky’s feeling about dressing as a girl and being treated like one. He has loving friends who do not judge him be accept him for who he is.

Nice story

I have enjoyed this fun heartfelt adventure of young boy that had to dress as girl for play and found him liking to be dressed that way.

Interesting

Fiona Silverwood has started a good series with this book. I really enjoyed how she has created the characters and plot.

A pleasant read, well written for the most part and with a high level of verisimilitude, but loses at least one star, possibly two, for the errant punctuation and the presentation of dialogue: the use of long form makes the characters' speech come across as extremely formal (at times, it's almost as though they're characters in a period piece). Some judicious copy-editing would have made this a very good book.
