The Other Half

Rate this book
Whitney

I’ve just made the big move to New Orleans for my first job teaching when Nate Coleman, quarterback for the Nola Hurricanes, blows into my life. He’s drop dead gorgeous, devilishly handsome, and refuses to take no for an answer. I said I was going to spend my first year away from home focusing on my new job, but I learned quickly that Nate has a tendency of always getting his way.

Nate

I’ve never bothered with relationships. Not because I have some opposition to commitment, but because I know what it looks like when you’re in the room with the love of your life, something I’ve never experienced. That is until right before the start of a new season. Whitney Evans walks into my life one night at a party, driving me crazy in the best of ways. The only way I can find peace is if Whitney is bound to me in every way possible, as soon as I can make it happen.

She might not know it yet, but I’m going to make Whitney mine.

The Other Half features a hero that has no issues crossing boundaries. Please do not read this book if you are under 18 or if you do not enjoy jealous, possessive, very manipulative men.

The writing kept pulling me out of the story

“Hiii…hi ummm Nate,” she says with a little wave as she stops [...]

I hate books that write as if they are texting.

I roll my eyes heavenly. “I can feed myself, ya know,” I say again to him.

Between the "ya know" and that "heavenly" eye roll, I was eye rolling myself. Only mine wasn't divine just upward pointing.

Too many books, not enough time for mediocre ones.

If readers want an OTT J/P MMC, then they might love Nate.

Normally, I'm fine with this kind of fictional man, and most times, I even root for the questionable methods they take just to get their FMCs. But for some reason, I couldn't get on board with Nate's antics. Idk why; I can't explain it. All I know is that he irked the crap out of me right off the bat. He just came off as way too crazy, controlling, and manipulative, not in a swoony red-flag way (it's not an actual thing, but it is for me 😂). I can be color blind when it comes to these MMCs, but not this time. 🤷‍♀️

Most of what he did here was for personal gain, and Whitney just went along for the ride. She didn't have a choice in most things; it was all about Nate's wants and needs. I'm not saying he didn't take care of her, because he did in his own unhinged, annoying ways. He also allowed her some degree of control, but only on trivial things. Still, when it comes to the most important matters, Nate's decision will eventually win.

This might have worked for some readers; ngl, at times, I dig this too. But I can't help but be annoyed every time I remember that, while I know he's so obsessed with her, there's the underlying goal of making her his, whether she likes it or not. 🤦‍♀️

And Whitney did give her lame effort of refusal in the beginning. She wasn't initially interested because she had plans for her career. But since her brush-off is weak at best and the word "no" doesn't exist in Nate's vocabulary, she really didn't stand a chance over his bulldozing ways. I was able to barely tolerate the story and their dynamics because she already accepted the fact that he's going nowhere, and at the end she became down bad for him too. 🫠

Maybe I'm just in a mood or something; that's why I didn't end up liking it. But then I remembered that I tried reading another book by this author, and I DNF that. Perhaps there's just something in her storytelling that doesn't vibe with me, idk.

But if I'm going tbh, I think it was the forced breeding that annoyed me. Because even though Nate knew it was Whitney's first year of teaching, he couldn't give two sh*t about her life plans and still messed with her BC and purposely impregnated her. This was again for his personal benefit; how did I know that? Because this was his response when Whitney found out "I'm pushing thirty. More settled than you are. I think a baby with you would be the best thing ever." Did somewhere in that line ever seem he cared about HER stance on having kids??? She said she knew it would eventually happen, but not this soon in their relationship. She wasn't ready at all! 😒

Ugh! Anyhoo, I don't want to stress about it anymore, and while this didn't work for me, I hope other readers might find this more up their alley.

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Trope: instalove
Angst: 😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥

Nate Coleman is a quarterback for the Nola Hurricaines and meets Whitney at a party at his house. He decides right away that Whitney is the girl for him and there is literally nothing that can keep him from insinuating himself deep into her life. And he won't rest until their wed and have babies on the way. He's ready, he's just not quite listening to whether she is, lol. The Other Half is the third installment of the Lost and Found Series by Annelise Deveraux and while a standalone, it is best enjoyed when read in series order.

The Other Half is a super sweet and smexy read that will leave you with a huge smile on your face. If you haven't read Annelise before, you need to have an open mind with her over the top heroes who will lie, cheat, steal, and/or forcibly impregnate their girl without her knowledge to tie her to him forever, lol. Cute read that's a little light on plot and heavy on some smoking smexy times, but still super enjoyable. I gobbled this right up in a morning. I absolutely love all her characters and you walk away feeling invested in them and their families. I can't wait to see who's next!

3.5 Fluffy-Bunny Stars

This was a cute read… a little long for fluff but enjoyable and the writing was solid. Nate is the stud QB for NOLA’s fake NFL team (Hurricanes) when he meets Whitney at a party and is instantly smitten… sort of like finding his Boom. (Aurora Rose Reynolds) The rest of the book is him manipulating with love things to make him invaluable to her and tie them together.

This had a lot going for it. The mc’s were both very likable, and Nate is the besotted/completely dedicated alpha many romance readers love to read about. His “machinations” are fairly tame and mostly with Whit’s best interest in mind. My only complaint was that it’s low on conflict which (for me) made the 368 pages become somewhat monotonous. I completely agree with the author deciding not to have Nate’s actions cause drama… but IMO it needed something else to spice up the plot. At first, I thought maybe the snooty housekeeper looked promising, but she was dispatched quickly off-page.

Bottom Line- Solid romance free to read with KU from a newer author. It’s sweet but low on drama… and medium-ish heat. I’m an impatient reader, so personally, I needed more drama… maybe some wannabe OW lurking about… or about 75 less pages… but I’ll round up and will definitely keep an eye out for this author. There’s a short epilogue 6-ish years later with a possible set up of a romance between their son and housekeeper’s granddaughter.

This was so good. If you have read this author before you know she writes guys who are all in for their woman and it is always a good wholesome love story. It’s safe, light and always a HEA.

Some things:
-JP H.. he is very possessive of Whitney in the best way. He doesn’t want anyone to have his lady but him and he makes sure he’s gonna be around for the long haul.
-Whitney is a sweet teacher whose come off a bad break up a while back and she’s ready to get on her own two feet and just start a new …. So when she meet our H, she politely tells him I’m not really wanting to date right now and he’s like..mmhmm
-Manipulative H.. in the BEST FREAKING WAY. .. ok! He is NOT gonna let anyone, even Whitney stop him from being her man… make the principle love him so he can come and go as he wants ✅ bring his team mates so the kids in the classroom love him ✅ just keep doing all the things for Whitney so she can’t say no ✅ Make things happen so he can force things around her to go his way and she’s clueless ✅
-Nate is NEVER CAUGHT ok and i lovveeddd it.
-he wants to get rid of her crappy car 👌🏼 just make it disappear and let her “borrow his” indefinitely lol
-replace all the undies any other man may have seen her in 👌🏼 just burn them and buy her more when she notices 😂😂😘
-H is a football player so you know his body is banging and he’s a hottie. Which also leads to…
-great side characters which will hopefully get books of their own (I def know one is)
-breeding .. mmm hmmmm
-BC tampering ( goes with the above 👆🏻) and I will say I LOVE the way he does this 🤣
-Smexy times cause I mean- we gotta knock her up right
-we get to see the Coleman’s from this authors other books which is always nice to see old characters you love and their families.
-a cute doggie side kick
-HEA

I REALLY loved this book. Nate was 👌🏼👌🏼 for my Jp loving heart and honestly this was the most Jp H that this author has written and he was my fav. If you are the type who love them JP, obsessed with their woman, unapologetic and manipulative in the best way. this is for you.

‼️SPOILERS‼️SPOILERS‼️SPOILERS‼️

Safety Info: Totally Safe. H was probably a manwhore when he was younger but he’s been celibate for years before meeting h. h was in a long term relationship but broke up with him a while before meeting H. No virgins. No OW/OM drama.

Hero: Nate, Late twenties, NFL Quarterback

Heroine: Whitney, 22 years old, Kindergarten Teacher

OW Drama: None

OM Drama: Not really. Nate is jealous several times and chases away any man who thinks about looking at Whitney, but there is not any actual interference to their relationship.

Intimacy: They kiss the first night they meet and probably would have gone further if they hadn’t been interrupted. They fool around a few times before having sex at around 20%. The scenes were fairly descriptive but I skimmed through most of them because they weren’t anything mind blowing.

3rd Act Breakup/Separation: None

HEA/Epilogue: HEA with epilogue 6 years later. They have 3 kids and are still blissfully happy.

My Thoughts: Honestly, this was almost painfully boring. I’m surprised I didn’t DNF it but I kept waiting for something to happen. It’s very insta love which I like but I really don’t know what Nate saw in Whitney that made him immediately drawn to her. For that matter I don’t know what Whitney saw in Nate other than they’re both supposed to be really good looking.

Nate is described as OTT jealous, possessive and manipulative. Yes, he was jealous and possessive but his manipulations were hardly a blip on my red flag radar. The worst thing he did is tampering with her BC to get her pregnant. Other than that though, he didn’t really do anything other than make sure she had a safe car and moved her out of her apartment in a bad area. He was pretty vanilla, or maybe I’m just delusional from all the dark romance I’ve read.

Whitney. She was about as interesting as dry toast. Other than being a kindergarten teacher she really had no personality. She came off as a bit whiny for no reason and even though she’s 22, she reads like she could be 50. She was a boring goody two shoes who wrung her hands about getting caught in his hotel room before a game. Like honey, you are both adults, they cant do anything to you. There is nothing to her that would suggest she’s a young woman just getting out of college. She does nothing for fun other than watch tv with Nate sometimes. Oh and of course she goes to his games. But as far as who she is as a person? 🤷‍♀️ She could have been anybody. She would put up a bit of a fight when Nate would go all “Caveman Nate” as she called him, but he bulldozed her and she’d quickly fold.

There was absolutely no reason for this book to be almost 400 pages. It would have been fine as a 200-250 page book because I’m telling you, nothing happens! I don’t need a ton of OTT drama but I’d like to see something happen that challenges the couple and adds interest. The only real drama that happened was totally contrived and barely made any sense. Whitney is on a video call with Nate one evening and she hears some banging in her side yard, assuming it’s some raccoons getting into the trash. She goes to check it out but Nate demands she hide in the closet while he calls his security team. Turns out it was a few kids and her neighbor (a bodyguard Nate planted to live next door to her) handled it and detained one of the kids before the police got there. They had broken the window of her and the neighbor’s cars and it looked like they were trying to open the window to Whitney’s apartment to steal her laptop. So yeah, it definitely would have shook anyone up but this girl basically goes into a catatonic state of shock for like 2 days. She was devastated that they stole her dog’s leash out of the car. 😂 While reading it I was thinking “Kim, there’s people who are dying”. She acted like there had been a home invasion and she was held at gunpoint. It was just lame. It did get her to move in with Nate so I guess that was the whole reason for it.

Overall this book would have been ok if it was 150 pages less and maybe had just a little bit of angst or drama. As it is, it’s a drag and you’re not missing anything by skipping it. It does set the tone for some books between some of the side characters but I don’t think I’ll bother with them unless future reviews indicate they are worth it.

The Other Half gave me Gemma Weir's Mountain Men vibes so obviously I really enjoyed this story. Nate is a quarterback for the Nola Hurricanes and meets Whitney at his house party. He steps in when she is being hassled by her date and all it takes is a look for him to know that she's the one.

Nate bulldozes his way into Whitney's life and she's helpless to resist his charm and confidence. Whitney has just started a new teaching job and isn't prepared for the force of nature that Nate is.

“I don’t date,” Whitney had told me earlier in the week. As if what we’re doing would ever be dating. To say that we’re dating implies we’re testing the waters, seeing where this leads. With Whitney, I have zero doubt precisely where this is heading. She just doesn’t know it yet.

Nate will do anything and everything to make Whitney his and he won't apologize for any of his caveman actions. He was possessive, obsessive and dominant and that's my crack. I adored his crazy ass.

“What a good girl taking all my cock in your mouth. You’re so perfect for me. So fucking mine.”

The Other Half was a bit lengthy at times but overall a low angst, hot and enjoyable read with a girl-next-door heroine and alpha male hero that burned up the sheets and built a beautiful relationship.

Nate the Neanderthal was just like I wanted him. Determined and willing to do anything to accomplish his goals. He was manipulative and would lie to get his way. He was extremely jealous and possessive which I loved. Whitney was a sweet kindergartner teacher who had no idea what she was up against. This book was so good! I loved that this author does low drama and no other woman drama in her stories. The hero is just too obsessed with the heroine to think of any other women. I loved every word and the cameos with the other Coleman family members.

Nate was stalker-y and very jealous/possessive, but the story was cozy and low angst — probably because

It could have been a cautionary tale, but ended up being a very enjoyable romance 😂. I just wish the book was 50-100 pages shorter, but I have a pretty short attention span right now.

❁ Jealous and Possessive Hero
❁ Professional Football Romance
❁ Age Gap
❁ Instalove
❁ Birth Control Tampering

When Nate catches Whitney being harassed by her date he has to step in. As soon as he sees her, he wants to get to know her better. After they spend all night talking Nate goes full steam head with getting everything he wants.

Annelise Devereaux writes amazing delicious men that are over the top jealous and possessive, and I love all of them. I love the two sides of Nate that we got to see. Neanderthal Nate will stop at nothing to make sure Whitney is only his, which can be infuriating and oh so hot. Sweet Nate is so considerate and caring, which will make you swoon. I mean Nate is a professional football player who dresses up his girlfriend’s Shih Tzu and is super sweet to her kindergarten class, totally swoon worthy. I also love how Whitney does not overreact to Nate’s Neanderthal side while also still making sure he understands how she feels about what he does and that he will explain why he does what he does. Nate is just head over heels of Whitney and wants her as attached to him as possible.

This is Annelise Devereaux third book and I recommend them to anyone who love smutty contemporary romance with caring, over the top jealous and possessive heroes. I am so excited for Cassie and Roman’s book (you meet them in this book) and any others Annelise Devereaux writes.

Listen Nate was toxic but not in mean way. Idk how to explain it. I did like him honestly, Neanderthal Nate is an accurate nickname. Completely obsessed with Whit from the get go.

Whitney was a strong fmc, wasn’t a complete pushover. Handled Nate well. I loved her passion to teaching.

My fav side characters , Pedal ofc what a queen, Cassie (excited to see what happens with her and iykyk) & Helene) also the ending of the book was adorable I see a book with those 2 in the future *hopefully*

Steam-3.5/5 it was good spacing, and it wasn’t over done. Breeding kink

This was a surprising disappointment for me and I think it's because I didn't really feel the romance in this one. Nate's jealousy was great and the tampering with the birth control was entertaining with how creative he got, but those were the only high points for me. Even at the beginning, when the romance is usually at its peak for me because of the anticipation, I didn't feel anything between the couple.

If I had to guess, I'd say that Whitney herself was the problem. There was just something about her that was a little...empty as far as her feelings for Nate went. I could see that she had feelings for him, but it didn't translate well from page to brain. From the start, Nate was all in and I could feel it, but Whitney just lacked something integral to the relationship that I can't quite put my finger on.

I think it's also because of this lacking element that I did not enjoy the sex scenes and actually ended up skimming over almost all of them. I guess I liked Whitney's overall character, but not as a love interest for Nate or as a sexually active MC? Usually when I can't connect with a MC in a romance and there's a sex scene, it takes me away from the parts that are supposed to be steamy because I can't picture/enjoy that character in a sexual manner. I hope that makes sense.

Another thing that kind of surprised me about this book was that there wasn't really any angst or conflict, even with all the things that happened along the way. I guess I just expected stronger emotions in this overall and I'm disappointed. I ordered a strong coffee and I got decaffeinated tea with no sugar. 😔 One thing I really liked, though, was how quickly Nate won over and connected with Whitney's dog Petal.

I'd like to make a note here that I read this as a stand-alone, meaning I didn't read the two previous installments of this series because they just didn't interest me. I was able to follow along without any trouble, except for one brief moment when Whitney referenced something that must have happened to/between a side character and her sister (Cassie and Marissa). So if anyone else is wondering if they can read this as a stand-alone, the answer is yes.

Despite my issues with this book, I will be reading Cassie and Roman's book ("Stealing Sunshine") whenever it comes out, unless I don't like the plotline for some reason. Even though she was a very minor character, I liked Cassie (kind of more than Whitney? 😬) and I knew as soon as I read the scene where Whitney came across them playing chess together that they'd have a book. I'm gonna guess it'll be a brother's best friend/teammate vibe mixed in with a slight age-gap. The only problem I foresee myself having with that book is Cassie's sister Marissa, who I did not like in this book. Marissa was nice enough, but she just rubbed me the wrong way, so having more of her in Cassie's book will be annoying.

I love Nate❤️ This guy is so OTT J/p and I’m all for it! Whitney didn’t stand a chance lol. Nate knew what he wanted and did WHATEVER he needed to do to make it happen. One of my fav parts is the bon fire of Whitney’s panties/bras because he couldn’t stand the thought of her ex seeing her in any of them. So good!! I can already see another couple in the near future and I CANNOT WAIT! I see you

Sports romance, NOLA, an adorable Shitzu named Petal, dad jokes, OTT J/p MMC, lots of spice, and a super sweet FMC…what is there not to love? The author scored a touch down with the 3rd book in this series following the Coleman Family. Nate is very similar to his father Ethan in the lines he will cross for his one true love, and I am here for these fictional men’s 🚩🚩!!! Super sweet, spicy, instalove romance!

Nate (MMC) is a star NFL QB meets Whitney (FMC) at a party. Whit recently moved to NOLA as a first year kindergarten teacher and recent college grad and Nate instantly wants to see more of her. He doesn’t ask — he just sweetly bulldozes his way into her life. Whether he’s Neanderthal Nate or Sweet Nate, he’s a walking 🚩 due to his over the top jealous and manipulative ways to get what he wants, which is Whit. I couldn’t get enough of his caveman behavior and was here for it all. Check TW from author… bras or contraceptives are not safe in this sweet story!

Looking forward to the next installment

When I saw the author describe the Hero as "Neanderthal Nate" I knew this was the book for me and it did not disappoint! Nate was so deliciously man!pu|ative and
jea|ous/p0ss€ssive and I was here for every minute of it 😍.

From the moment pro footballer, Nate sees Whitney, he's all in. Forget testing the waters or dating...this man wants Whitney to be his now and forever. While Whitney is skittish about entering into a relationship, she can't help but fall for Nate's charm. But every time she attempts to go slow, he responds by going full throttle (and oh how full throttle he goes 🔥).

I loved watching their story unfold. Whitney is such an awesome character. Sweet but not a pushover and truly the perfect match for Nate.

Although this is a lighter read, I suggest reading the tr!gger warning as there are some elements in this book that may not be for everyone...but if you're like me aka obsessed with fictional OTT J/P Heroes who are determined to get their women pregnant (including t♡mp€ring with their
b!rth c0ntr0l 🙈) then dive on in 😈

Annelise has a way of dragging you in to her stories & making you hold on for dear life. Nate was the epitome of OTTJP & I am here for it!! Some of things he did were absolutely ridiculous & had me shaking my head, but being the son of Ethan, the apple certainly has not fallen far from the tree. Whitney comes along & unexpectedly knocks him right on his butt. Their chemistry was off the charts, their banter was great, & their love knew no bounds. Annelise truly has a talent for writing & bringing her story to life.

Why was this so long….the plot wasn’t something that needed almost 400 pages, I think this would of been better as a novella or at least 100 pages smaller. I also DNF the 2nd book in the series so I guess this writing style isn’t for me. What made like parts of this was Nate’s OTT caveman behaviour and the spicy scenes, other than that it was average for me. I didn’t like how Nate got away with some things he did and the fact they weren’t talked about fully.

Whitney is a sweet, new kindergarten teacher who just moved to New Orleans and was determined to stay single but then she meets Nate.

Nate is an over the top jealous possessive alpha hero, who is also a cinnamon roll and I am here for it! He has absolutely no shame in his manipulations to make sure that Whitney is his and to me, there’s nothing hotter 🥵🔥

The Other Half is the third book in her Lost and Found series but this is the first book I have read of Annelise Devereaux and trust me when I say that it will not be the last. I loved her writing and I’m definitely going to read the first two books in the series. I am now a Annelise Devereaux stan!.

After reading the other books in this lost and found series I was so excited to be able to read this new instalment.

This sports romance is very insta love with the H falling first. I adore me a book where the h isn’t totally obsessed w the H right away and is at first a little resistant.

This book is super steamy and such an easy read, not very plot heavy but still the plot was written perfectly by Annelise that you didn’t feel like you were just reading straight up spice.

Nate is totally the best OTT/JP mc that I’ve read in a hot minute and really had me invested in this book wondering what crazy thing he was going to do next to keep Whitney. Whitney was the perfect fmc, she wasn’t a push over but also you can tell she really liked Nate she just had her reservations.

Can’t wait to read more books by Annelise.

"The other half" is the 3rd instalment in the series but can be read as a standalone, though you couldn't go wrong going back to "The sweetest Bliss."
Book 1 is Nate's parents (Ethan and Tessa). Book 2 is his sisters story (Rosalie and Sawyer).
Wonderful writing style and great story. Im a huge fan of a good insta-love story when the mood strikes, and this one hit the mark.

Nate is instantly taken by Whitney and he turns into an absolutely caveman over her, so its wise to leave your feminism at the door for this one and enjoy Nate's absolutely over the top, jealous and possessive antics when it comes to Whit, he will do absolutely anything to get the girl and make her his.
This book was really enjoyable, low angst overall, but plenty of little bumps alone the way to keep you on your toes.
Lovely epilogue as well. That last line was so cute.
I'm looking forward to seeing if we will get Cassie and Roman's or maybe a time jump, and we can see what happens with Liam and Noelle when they grow up.

Oh my, the son has surpassed the father! I loved Ethan but his son Nate just improved upon the original by leaps and bounds. He is just as apt to devolve into his caveman mode as he is to be sweet as candy when it comes to Whitney. They really are so perfect for each other, Nate just needed to speed up the inevitable. He couldn't wait for the natural progression of their relationship. I think he would have exploded into little caveman pieces if he had to do that. So he took some measures, just like his dad, only he learned from Ethan's mistakes. This was such a good read, I am completely enamored with Nate. He is now my favorite of AD's heroes, so far. Whitney is so sweet and loving, its no surprise she is a kindergarten teacher. I cannot wait for more stories from this talented author!

I voluntarily read an advanced copy and this is my review.

The Other Half is a great, steamy, and safe read featuring the son of the main couple from The Sweetest Bliss. Nate is a successful football player who doesn't realize that he even wants what his parents have until he first lays eyes on Whitney. But once he does, Nate evolves (devolves) into Neanderthal Nate when it comes to making Whitney his forever. I love that Whitney is not a pushover for his antics, but ultimately sees his possessiveness and jealously comes from a place of love. I highly recommend this book and look forward to future releases from Devereaux!.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Nate & Whitney

I was definitely anxiously awaiting this book after reading the first two in this series and it was definitely worth the wait. Nate absolutely takes after his father! He is the same jealous, possessive, devious man that his father was in making sure he got his woman once he set his sights on her. Whitney never stood a chance against Nate - nor do I think she would have wanted to try. They were obviously meant to be and they love each other very much. I loved their story and totally enjoyed it. No doubt, I will be coming back to reread it. ❤️

This was a pretty low drama/low angst spicy story. Nate and Whit are very cute together. I liked that Whit didn't fight the relationship or feel like she wasn't 'enough'. They both wanted the best for each other and encouraged each other. It did start to drag a bit in the middle but picked up towards the end.

I did get confused with all the side characters on the team and their wives/girlfriends. But that's probably just a me problem.

Overall, good book if you want an easy read with low drama and plenty of spice.

The Other Half by Annelise Devereaux is book Three in the Lost and Found Series. This is the story of Nate and Whitney. Nate has a party at his house for his buddy's girlfriend. Whitney happens to attend the party as a friend of another person but Nate ends up saving her from that guy who started to harass her. When Nate gets a good look at Whitney he falls instantly in love with her. But, he knows he has to slowly work his way into her life because she is new to town along with a new job. Once I started reading this book I could not put the book down. Yes, I spent all day reading it only to take a lunch break. If you like a instant one sided love along with a Alpha male than like me this book is your go to. I hope to read more from this author with this alpha male lead. I loved it!

Where do I start?! Nate is everything I love in an H. Possessive, manipulative, jealous, will mess with your birth control and never get caught. 😂
I really loved this book because usually you only get this kind of H in darker romance books. This was not a dark romance but Nate came in and did what he wanted to get what he wanted and didn’t suffer from guilt or get caught which was a refreshing change from most non dark romance books.
There was no other woman drama but enough other man drama to give us the gift of some wonderfully delicious jealous moments from Nate.
I liked the h a lot too because she wasn’t a doormat but she wasn’t resistant to him to the point of annoyance.
This book has earned a place in my reread library.
