Humanity is fighting a war against an alien force that would like to extract an ancient alien artefact from the Earth’s core, destroying the planet in the process. And we’re losing.

Plasma drills pepper the planet’s surface. Alien ships darken the sky. Humanity is losing the war and losing hope. In a last-ditch effort, a secret super-solider program is greenlit to provide Earth with an edge and a chance.

A young boy is plucked from his family and inducted into the Aether Project in the hopes that he and his fellow subjects will be the difference humanity needs to stop the invasion, and save the planet.
