When I was confided to the walls to the King's castle, I had my family I made. Though they were all orcs, we took care of each other until our last breath. No matter how much pain and suffering we were in, we had each other to boost our moods. Alliances are what freed me from the chains of the King.
After I gained freedom, I have made the decision to return home to the Faeworld and find the one that calls out to me. But the world has been lost to everyone who seeks it with rumors getting us into the wrong hands. After saving the deadliest clan leader then being kidnapped by him, I’m greeted with new tasks. I have to convince him I was raised by the former clan leader, though she was supposedly dead for fifty years. Once one of the rumors dissolved and I'm back at square one, I work on freeing a dragon that has been trapped for hundreds of years.
The Wolf in Wolfs Clothing is book 3 in the Royal Fae Series *Cliff Hanger*
Captured by the crimson raven clan Arcadia is one step closer to finding the fae realm or so she thinks. Distrust between the clan leader Rogue and his second Zion leads Arcadia not to the fae realm but to finding Ryuu dragon with an unexpected cost.
I love Arcadia’s story the tension between her and some of the men is fire and the spice is always amazing! Wrapped up in a journey to find her purpose leaves you wanting more! Highly recommend you will not be disappointed!
I’m nervous to see where the next book goes, that cliffhanger had my jaw on the floor, I was not expecting that, seeing them all broken has broken my heart, this book took me through quite a bit of emotions, I was not expecting to get as invested as I am with this series! my only issue is a lot of phrases are being repeated from the other book/same books, I still loved the book though! and it’s the only thing I’ve picked up on that stands out badly to me! the characters are all great, im so happy we see more of the dragon shifter! id say he is my favourite bc i have a thing for dragon shifters apparently! but all the characters have such great developments going on, even the new characters introduced! I love how everything is tying together now, I can’t wait to see more! overall, a great third book with strong characters and a great plot that has a lot of twists!
Wow a lot happened in this book. She met the Crimson Ravens. Arce’s people including her brother. She saved Zion and Rogue’s life. She uncovered a traitor there who was Arce’s brother. They found Ryuu’s dragon and took it to him. They then helped all the prisoners escape from the dungeon. Traeger killed the silver haired fae torturer who is actually a demon that keeps getting put into others bodies. Then she gets shot in the heart with an arrow. Obviously she isn’t dead or heals herself, or somehow gets healed. But what a crazy ending.

Ok the first book was soo good. After that it's been xxx nonstop. Very little in-between, everything else became an after thought. It was like xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx oh I forgot let me throw this in. Then back to xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx. I almost wanted to give up. Then the ending( which was the best part out of this whole book. I just hope it's the ongoing theme in the next book.
I love the growth of Arcadia's relationships with her harem and the world. She is such a strong woman that doesn't mind asking for help when she needs it. I hate that we are ending near the series. These freakin cliffhangers are going to kill me lol. I can't wait to see when the next book has up its sleeve. All of Rune's books are to die for.
I thought this was the last book and my heart hurts so bad! This cliffhanger really was unexpected to me. I'm glad the author shows how some of the boys are denying their feelings cause that's how they really do even if they know what they want can't wait to read the next.
I loved this one! We finally get some more answers and have the whole group together! Insane cliffy, though, so I was glad I didn't have to wait to read the next one! Rogue and Ryder are annoying, but I can't wait for them to stop being so stubborn! I especially loved how Arcadia is growing into her strength in this book!
The Wolf in Wolf's Clothing is an intense and exhilarating continuation of the Royal Fae series. Rune Hunt elevates the suspense and intrigue, with even higher stakes in the dangerous world of fae royalty. This installment leans into a darker, action-driven plot, bringing new excitement to the ongoing story.
The heroine has grown significantly over the course of the series, showing both strength and resilience in navigating the complexities of court life. Her journey feels compelling, with her choices and challenges adding depth and richness to the narrative. The chemistry between the main characters is undeniable, creating a push-and-pull dynamic that keeps you eagerly turning pages.
The pacing is well-balanced, blending high-stakes confrontations, clever twists, and subtle character moments. While some of the political details and alliances can feel dense, they add to the story's world-building, enhancing the mystery and tension.
ARC review Omg I loved this book so much. These series just keeps getting better and better. I could not stop reading it and ended up finishing it 4 am in one sitting because it was so good. I can't wait to read the next book when it comes out.
Idk how I feel about these books. 90% smut, 10% plot and poorly written. But it was interesting enough for me to read all three that are out so far in 1 day. I’ll read the next one just because I’ve already started this series lol!
Damn that was good. The spice is off the chain. The story is face paced and interesting. I love the characters and the new ones we get to meet as well. I love this book, really. The only thing that bothered was that this really needs an editor. Otherwise it was fire. 4.5⭐️ 4🌶
This series is so goood, but someone needs to fire their editor or it should have gone through another round of editing. There are so many grammatical and spelling areas that draw away attention from the story.
Arcadia is on a journey to find out who she is, where she comes from, and collect her mates. Sometimes with them fighting their feelings tooth and nail.
She didn’t grow up with much love. She had a little but mostly her world view was that of imprisonment and trauma. She’s growing and seeing that she doesn’t want to deny herself joy, love, or pleasure.
That ending…ooof…hurt your feelings cliffhanger 😭🥺
I was so excited to jump back into Arcadia's world and to watch her character development continue to grow. As normal Runes storytelling hooked me straight back in and kept a strangle hold on me till the very end. This cliffhanger is the roughest yet and I can't wait to the epic conclusion to Arcadia's story in the next book.
I love all Times books as soon as I start reading them I have to finish them and it only took me 4 hours to finish this book it was so good I can't wait to read the last one
Arcadia is collecting men like they're infinity stones!
These books could definitely be written better (grammatical errors, wrong words used, etc.) but the story is interesting and has you wondering what will happen next and the smut is delish.
