The battle toward the end of this volume was harder to parse as the kids' imaginations in action than some of the other, similar scenes in earlier volumes. Well, okay, high school students scrambling to have enough resources to run a student club would be unlikely to have the funds for the heavy machinery we see, never mind being able to replace or repair them after they're destroyed!
Carl Gustav Horn's endnotes, as usual, were enjoyable and informative to read. It seems like this is another manga whose volumes come out more or less annually, so I've got some time to look forward to the next one. :)
So many things going on in this one! And while I don't understand everything (the translation notes in the back help) about japanese language and culture, I still enjoy it a lot. For me the best parts are the pondering about creativity, what it means to certain people and how it does or doesn't effect others.
