Show, don't tell

If we were sitting around a campfire, telling stories, I would have loved this one. But reading it? Not so much. I expect the author to know certain things, like traitor, not trader. And that West Point is the equivalent of the Naval Academy, not a precursor to it. Also, Navy SEALs are smart, well trained team players who know how to plan and network, not rush in unprepared over and over again. In addition, the dialogue was stilted and hurt the overall story more than it helped.
I could tell Ms McIver knows how to plot out a book, but she completely left out the research part. I am afraid she could also use an editor that knows when to use which tense of a verb.
All in all, I'm glad this one was a freebie.

Double the romance, double the trouble. A complicated story that has you on your toes to remember everybody’s name. The whole family is pretty much involved in several parts of this tale and it feels a bit confusing to keep everyone straight. Underneath there is a story the has action, romance, pain and glory. There are hero’s , villains and the occasional semi-crooked SEAL or he might be a pirate. Never knew ex-SEAL’s could get rich enough to own a casino in Vegas in their mid 30’s, go figure. That’s just a side character. A fun book to read.

good but simple

This book feels like it is an outline as opposed to a real book. It could have had more detail, action and character development as well as involvement.
I also felt it was written for a less educated audience.
Had the author put more time and effort into writing this book I would have enjoyed it a lot better

Truly Worth Reading!

Absolutely adore Lincoln and Allie they are something else. Allie was so stubborn when she focused on an issue she wanted to solve, and she about drove Lincoln crazy. This is a wonderful love story and taking out people who do awful things to innocent human beings!

There's plenty of action, danger, hiding and rescuing kidnapped kids, even 2 babies. Lincoln and Allie get along as well as oil and water. But some revalations come out of helping each other save the kids. excellent read and a HEA.

Lincoln and Allie.

I enjoyed reading the second book in the Seal Security series.

I loved the characters, plot and storyline.
The cartel not so much.
This book has drama, adventure, suspense, kidnapping, human trafficking, sex, love and so much more.

Disjointed
Good until lots of other family members added their stories.
Should have ended when Lincoln and Allie married.
Ps...proof reader needs to work a bit harder.
