Flash… Jaci was the love of my life back in high school. We were going to conquer the world together. And then her family up and moved, and she was gone. No goodbye, no warning… nothing. It took a lot of booze and drugs to numb the pain and get me to the point where I could move on. And I did… move on, that is. Until one fateful night I screw up and my mission for the club goes horribly wrong, causing a lot of irrevocable damage.
The Soulless Kings’ issue me an ultimatum: go to rehab or have my patch removed. Neither is an option I’m interested in, but rehab is the lesser of two evils. Or so I thought… until I walk in to meet with the counselor and it’s a woman I thought I’d never see again. Now that she’s back, can I get clean or will I burn the world down just to avoid her?
Jaci… My parents ripped me from the only life I knew and the boy I loved. All because, in their eyes, I committed the ultimate sin. But they made sure it was taken care of, and I walked away missing everything that made me a woman. I’ve always tried to look on the bright side, and this was no different. I used my pain to finally stand up for myself against my parents and make something of myself.
As a drug and alcohol counselor, I’ve helped a lot of people. I’ve also missed the mark with more than a few, but I learn from those clients and do better the next time. Until the next time is him, the boy I loved who is now a man with a coke habit. Once we both get over the shock of seeing each other again, all of my old feelings come rushing back. I loved him in high school, and I love him still. But can we get over all the hurt and pick up where we left off, or will we remain bitter and become angrier because of the two people who caused the most havoc?

Flash must be the dumbest man I've ever read Usually authors of MC make the woman as the dumb beautiful face But it's refreshing to see a stupid ass man in an MC book The one star goes to Jaci for what she went through and is going to go through for living a life with Mr. Clueless.
Love this book. Love Flash and Jaci’s romance story. Jaci and Flash used to be in a relationship when they were teenagers. Jaci ends up pregnant and her parents made her move because her parents hated Flash and didn’t like that she was pregnant. After Jaci left, Flash turned to cocaine because of his heartbreak. Flash hid his drug use from the Soulless Kings. Although one day, Royal caught him using and brought the situation up with Fender. Fender gave Flash an ultimatum: either get clean or be removed from the Soulless Kings. Flash chose to get clean. The rehab program the Soulless Kings chose was the company that Jaci owned. Jaci was the main therapist at the program. Flash was not happy about this. Jaci and Flash had a lot of emotions to work through. Once Flash heard about what happened to Jaci and his baby, Flash decided to have his patch stripped because he could not handled what he learned without drugs. Jaci stopped the stripping and the club learned why Flash turned to drugs in the first place. They decided that Jaci would oversee Flash’s recovery. Love how these two got a second chance at romance. Worth the read
This is another fab read from this amazing author. This is the story of Jaci and Flash, these two have a past history together and both knew they met their one true love now all they have to do is get back what was lost. This is a romantic, MC, second chance romance at its best from this author. This story is filled with mystery, secrets, pain, emotions, and off-the-charts chemistry between the characters. This story will grip you from the first page and keep you reading long into the night. This is also an emotional roller coaster of a ride between these two characters, trying to find their way back to each other, will they get there happily ever after.
I received an advanced reader copy of this book, and this is my honest review.
Andi Rhodes never disappoints! Her writing makes you feel like you are in the book alongside the characters.
The feelings, pain, anguish, hatred, and love could be felt jumping off each page.
Flash and Jaci had a young love that was meant to last forever, until they were separated for 14 years and each dealt with their separation in their own self destruction ways and eventually getting their lives on track, until they see one another again and then their worlds explode.
Once again, we see how the Club backs their Brothers and will do everything they can to help each other.
This story contains drug abuse, addiction, violence, sensitive issues, and triggers that can be upsetting.
I highly recommend reading this book and think it was definitely one of the best Souless Kings books. It was fast-paced, filled with so many emotions, and absolutely hit all the feels.
Wow, just wow! A phenomenal story of love, loss, addiction and redemption. Flash and Jaci have a past that led both of them onto a dark path. Reuniting the way they did could’ve possibly made them spiral again or make them stronger. This definitely wasn’t a story full of sunshine and rainbows but about two people fighting to overcome with the help of a beautiful, strong and loyal family called the Soulless Kings MC. Goodness! I couldn’t get enough. Fantastic story!
I love reading the Soulless Kings MC Series and this was a really tough story to read. So much heartbreaking and painful moments for all the characters. Flash and his teen love were torn apart and neither lived a life that was happy. Addiction is so tough and losing part of yourself can take its toll. Please be aware of triggers when reading this. Abuse, drugs, loss of a child
When Flash was in High Schoolhis BFF and love of his life Jaci mysteriously left, no goodbye, nothing and that is the catalyst of his downward spiral into drugs and booze.
On a mission for the Club he messes up and is told rehab or Patch, no brainer there, off he tootles, when there he meets his Councillor, none other than Jaci .........
Another fantastic story, really don't know where the ideas come from but sure am glad they do.
Flash is probably the most serious and heartfelt of this series. This addresses addiction as well as some other difficult topics. Those that got their due in the end was so satisfying after everything this couple goes through. Excited for Royal especially after his part in this one.
Flash and Jaci have so much in common. These two need each other to just stay even. Even though they were torn apart, love has a funny way of sorting things out. Great read. Spectacular storyline.
This story has many twists and turns it. Flash and Jaci get a second chance for love but it is not an easy path at all. The ending was perfect and glad it ended that way. Lots of different emotions throughout this book.
Addition is a hard subject and with addicts its always a battle. When Flash goes for help he finds Jaci his old love and a sad story but when that as a happy ending.
Flash and Jaci have so much in common. These two need each other to just stay even. Even though they were torn apart, love has a funny way of sorting things out. Great read. Spectacular storyline.

Wow! This story blew my mind. Flash has so much anger about having Jaci ripped from his life. Now years later secrets are blown apart and it changes everything. I loved this story and I will forever love the Soulless Kings MC!!!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is the story of Flash and Jaci. He knew when he met her at sixteen that he had already found his forever. Not one to let her be late coming home he was very careful with her because her parents were very strict. When she got home from church he would go and see her at here house and it was a routine thing for them. But one Sunday when he goes to meet her like he has every single Sunday they are gone. Disappeared. Vanished in to thin air. She is the girl that he knew he would never get over and now that he is grown in a MC and should be living the live. He is a guy with a coke habit all to get over the girl he lost so many years ago. However his club is aware of what is going on and the mess he is making of everything and they tell him he either goes to rehab or he loses his patch and is no longer one of them. The only choice he has is to go and he does, never expecting that fourteen years later he would come face to face with Jaci who is his therapist in rehab. There is a lot going on in this book and things that I can't talk about that you need to experience for himself. I will say that I was hooked on this story and loved every single second of reading it. You do not want to miss this book.

Flash is the ninth book in Soulless Kings MC series by Andi Rhodes. It’s a definite 5 star must read. Spellbounding, intoxicating, gritty with an emotional roller coaster. Another winner in an already amazing series. Flash is suspenseful, nail-biting, edgy, gripping and edge-of-the-seat reading. I loved that the author successfully delivered a beautiful, emotional, intense story, mature characters, friendship, hurt, healing, romance, suspense and danger.
Flash and Jaci were high school sweethearts. Jaci's parents torn them apart. This left Flash with no goodbye and not knowing what happened to Jaci, As much as they tried to move on, this led them both to a very dark path. Sixteen years later, Flash thought he hid well his addiction until he was given an ultimatum: go to rehab or lose his MC family / patch. That's when Jaci and Flash meet for the first time after many years. After initial shock wore down, Jaci offered to help Flash. Alas, this first meeting didn't go well. These two are absolutely perfect and compatible even though at first glance it doesn't seem that way. I loved their sweet, heart-wrenching, dangerous, crazy (good), suspenseful story. It’s not just a love story; it’s a journey of self-discovery, letting go of your past, believing in yourself and how to love again. Their transformation and development throughout the book is incredible. I felt the anticipation and their build up while trying to confront their past and demons. The ending was beautiful.
Each book can be read as a standalone. It kept my attention at all times and I could not put it down. Cannot wait for the next book.
Flash and Jaci met 16 years before but one day Jaci just disappeared and Flash never knew what happened to her.
16 years later Flash thought he had it hidden well from his MC that he was a heroin addict, it all started 16 years ago when Jaci left, then something goes wrong and they find out and tell him it's rehab or he has to leave the MC.
Jaci has got her life together after everything she has gone through. Her parents take her away from the one person she loved and that is what they called a sin they got rid of.
Flash goes to rehab as he does not want to lose the MC Club he calls a family, but when he goes to see the therapist he can't believe who it is after all these years, after the shock of seeing each other.
At first Flash walks out and says he wants another rehab centre, Jaci goes to talk to him but it does not go well, and Flash leaves rehab.
But then Jaci goes after him because she still loves him and wants to help him, so they talk and decide to take it one day at a time,
Everything seems to be going ok until they find out someone has been keeping an eye on Jaci and other things come out about Jaci's past.
When Flash finds out who it is that has been keeping tabs on Jaci, things start to go wrong. Will they be able to fight their past and be happy together again?
Wyatt & Jaci were together & in love when they were teenagers, and planning a whole life together when people & circumstances tore them apart in the worst way. It left our hero not able to handle things so he turned to coke to numb himself. It's been over a decade since they saw each other, and these days, Wyatt has become a member of the Soulless Kings MC, and known as Flash. He also hasn't stopped doing coke to numb the memories, and it's because of an ultimatum of going to treatment to get clean or turn in his patch. He knows he can't lose the family he found so he opts for treatment, and that's when he comes face to face with his past. See, Jaci is now a drug & alcohol counselor with the treatment center Flash is taken to, and she's not come away unscathed either. Her parents did her wrong, and she's filled with all the demons as well, and when she's come face to face with her past, it didn't go so well. As they try to wade through everything that happened, it seems like the past isn't through with them so at this point there are twists coming in hot to keep me on the edge of my seat. This story had it all with high emotion, heat, some humor, and the suspense factor with a fantastic supporting cast so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Trigger warnings are Andi Rhodes stock in trade. She tackles difficult and even unsavory topics. Flash is no exception. Violence is an essential ingredient with any story about a motorcycle club. In this one, add drug abuse and addiction to the recipe.
As always, I hope for more character development and backstory. But Andi wants to get to the meat of the story quickly. Her books are usually quick reads (at least for me) and digging too deep into the past would probably make the story too long for her liking. My ADHD does appreciate the way she gets to the point without dragging the reader through needless side stories.
Flash and Jaci are high school sweethearts who are torn apart by parents. This leads them both down dark paths. Going to rehab and coming face to face with the reason you’re an addict is definitely a tough way to start out. If only that were the only problem. Somehow parents come back to ruin happiness again.
Andi always leaves us a happy ending, but getting there can be a bit rough. As always, Flash is well written and the story is not a trope. Overall, a good story well told.
Without a doubt "Flash" is the most heart-wrenching book in this well-written series. Jaci and Wyatt have led traumatic lives since their tragic parting at sixteen. Accepting they were no longer together was virtually impossible. Each buried the desolation from being ruthlessly separated in their own way and attempted to move forward with their lives.
Jaci is now a counselor at the You Got This (YGT) rehab center which she owns and operates. Wyatt becomes Flash and finds a family in the brotherhood of the Soulless Kings MC. After fourteen years apart the two reconnect at YGT. Jaci and Flash soon discover their hearts still belong to one another. Working through their combined problems is the emotional journey we travel along with them.
The issues in this book are devastatingly real and presented with open honesty on hard topics. The author wrote it extraordinary well and has provided an excellent book for readers.
They'd been together since they were teens. Their plans were for a lifetime together. It didn't happen. One day she was gone. No message. No phone call. No way to find her.
His life was hollow. He did find the club and a family, people who cared. However, it wasn't enough. Booze and drugs became his go-to filling the gap.
She had a secret she never revealed to him before she left. Now over a decade late she's helping others overcome the addiction she'd found herself in.
Is there a chance for these two to get back to the feelings they had as teens? Neither has found someone else.
A touching yet emotional story guaranteed to bring tears and so many more emotions. Lots of club action with memorable characters. The book will stand alone although the series is amazing and I recommend both to the reader. Reviewed for Words Turn Me On
With one more book to go in this series Andi Rhodes up's her game with the penultimate story, Flash is a second chance romance, but there is nothing soft or sweet about this couple, torn apart as teenagers deeply in love, both then started on a journey of self-destruction, while Jaci pulled herself out of it and has gone on to have a career working with addicts, Flash joined the Soulless Kings where, although his addiction does not define who he is within the club if he doesn't put the demons of the past to bed his time may be running out, the storyline of how the two reconnect was spot on and I applaud Ms Rohdes for this as it just made the book an even more reverting read, as I said this is not roses round the door type of MC romance, and this author added gripping emotional moments right until the end.
Flash knew at 16 he’d found his forever. He was always careful that Jaci got home on time because her parents were very strict. They had a routine where he would go to her house to meet her after she got home from church. Everything changed on that Sunday when her whole family disappeared. 14 years later when Flash is forced into rehab or lose his MC. He’s confronted with his past when his therapist is Jaci. Their story evolves quickly, and theirs lots of moving pieces. When Parker, a prospect, comes to Fender with interesting info he’s been given, things move quickly. Jaci and Flash have to reconcile their past in order to move forward, both through their recovery and their possible relationship.
Book nine in the Soulless Kings series. High school sweetheart. Until her parents took her away. Left heartbroken and lost flash lost himself in drugs trying to fine peace but never found it. Ow his president wants him to go to rehab or lose the best thing that ever happened to him. His patch , his club and most of all his family. He goes to rehab never imagined he would never come back the same. Jaci lost two thing important people because of her parents. To numb the pain she toke pills. After crawling out of hell she became a counselor in a rehab center. When her new patient walks in, so does her past. His story will break you. At the end you will cheer for them. Love will heal the broken heart.
Flash and Jaci had a past, they were in love as teens, until the day Jaci's parents took her away without a word. Both were heartbroken and turned to drugs to soothe the pain.
Years later, Jaci is doing well, while Flash still struggles with his addiction. When Flash attends rehab at the facility Jaci works, their lives are again turned upside down, but now that they've found each other again, they don't want to let go.
This story was emotional, but I liked it. After all she'd been through Jaci was stronger than she'd thought, and fit in well at the club. Flash had a long road, and while I shook my head in disappointment at him at times, I really liked the way his story ended.
I can't believe this is book 9! Royal's story next. I'm intrigued.
This was a great second chance romance that took me on one heck of a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Their high school love was taken from them which made both to turn to drugs at some point just to cope with the great loss they suffered. Now years later they meet again both at a different place in their lives but that doesn’t stop the love they shared all those years ago.
There were so many people from their past that still tried to pull them apart and along with fighting drug addictions they had to struggle to get their HEA. What a fantastic story to get to this! I love Ms. Rhodes MC books and have never been disappointed once. She’s a great storyteller.
This is the 9th book in this phenomenal series, and this is Flash and Jaci’s story. These two were high school sweethearts with a future planned out, until she and her family disappear without a word. Flash does what he must to get through life, until he is given an ultimatum by his MC. Jaci is now a drug and alcohol counsellor and finds herself face to face with Flash. This is a well written action packed, emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, loyalty, loss, danger, suspense, intrigue, twists, secrets, mystery, and love, which leads to an entertaining and steamy addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
This story will definitely kick you in the feels. More than once. Jaci and Wyatt, or Flash as he is known to his brothers of the Soulless Kings MC, are both such beautifully flawed characters. Jaci was torn away from Wyatt when they were teenagers in love. Now, 14 years later their lives collide. During those 14 years neither Jaci nor Wyatt was able to let go. They did their best to cope with the loss, but sometimes their best was not very good at all. Throughout this story, you will learn that blood is not what defines family. Must read!!
When Andi says she doesn’t shy away from hard issues you better believe she means it. This book. There are no easy solutions. Flash and Jaci live through tough times and I could feel their pain, their heartache, and their hope. Hope and love prevail and it is beautiful. I made it through the entire book with just a few tears but the epilogue sent me right over the edge to blubberville. I am talking not being able to read the words. Amazing job, Andi.
So I was pleasantly surprised by this book. For many it will not be an easy read, but I personally spent a lot of it waiting for the shoe to drop, and those last few chapters had them flying in all directions. So if you're feeling like me, please trust me and stick with it, it is so worth it. By the end you'll be begging for more pages. I'm purposely not commenting on the characters and you will understand the further you read. Definitely an unexpected but good addition to this fantastic series.
