I fell for a broken, wounded Alpha. One who sets my heart and body on fire.
And now I’m his captive.
After searching for most of his life, Luke’s finally found where he belongs. Unfortunately, that pack will never accept me. To them, I’m a threat. One they’re determined to crush.
We have the nights to lose ourselves to a love that changed everything. But by day, our enemy bloodlines define us.
I never wanted Luke to have to choose. Which means I might have to do it for him…
Black Diamond Alpha contains a possessive, protective Alpha, steamy, satisfying romance, and the redeeming power of finding your forever mate. Luke and Addy's story is addictive, full of sizzling chemistry, and a sigh-worthy happily ever after.
Some books are darker than others. And it usually works in the story line. But relentless darkness, as this one started to feel with all the bad things happening, makes it difficult to come back from that and feel good about the story you are reading. The writing was good, which may save it. But I find it draining when the darkness goes on too long.
Adeline was not a killer. But she was the one who seems to have to suffer for the deaths that surrounded her. And the one she should have been able to rely on, Luke, took his time in finally protecting her. As I have noted before, some of that behavior is understandable… for short periods of time. But when it goes on too long, it loses the intended impact and the character becomes unlikable and cruel, regardless of any subsequent good deeds we see. I probably will not continue with the next book.
Now that they had both escaped her family, Luke and Addy, madly in love needed to get away and make a new life together but they needed to warn the Blood Born pack that they were in danger. The only problem was they would not accept Addy for who her family was and on top of that the High Wolf was due to arrive.
What can I say but simply amazing, this second instalment to the trilogy leaves you on a knife edge, the secret revealed, betrayal, the unquestionable love Luke and Addy have for each other but the situation that keeps them apart is so emotional with Luke trying to find a solution from it all. I really CANNOT WAIT for the last part of this trilogy, The last part of their journey I can tell is going to be simply amazing.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own
Rogue Wolf is the exciting second book in this trilogy, which I was waiting for a long time after the end of the first book. I loved Addie and how strong she was with everything she had to put up with. I get a little annoyed by Luke for not acting sooner, but given the turn of events that he experienced when he discovered the situation of that character it is understandable, although I loved it when he finally stood up to him. Even with all the problems they went through, I loved that the couple held their own, despite all the problems they faced. I can't wait to read how this trilogy ends.
So this story continues right where Ruthless Wolf left off, along with the ending plot twist of that novel. Luke has to adjust to this new (old?) way of living and having to keep Addy at a distance. At about 60% through, I was so angry with Luke that I almost quit the book, but I’m glad I powered through because the ending was definitely worth it! It was a fast paced and thrilling romance. I read the whole thing in about 2 days, only because I got stuck on those events at 60% through.

With the appearance of Likes father, after believing him to be dead for 5 years, things start to fall apart. Sean, the High Wolf, is determined to wipe out the High Ridge pack with his rage and lust for blood. Good storyline but I was disappointed Luke fell back under his fathers control and went along with his plans. He finally stepped up with Addys life was hanging in the balance. He finally chose Addy as his mate and they were sent away from the Blood Born pack. Will they survive?.

Love always win! Even that here was only a battle, and not the war. And I’m glad that Luke and Addy get to be together and their love still growing. It was heart wrencing seeing their struggle! This second part don’t answer to too much questions, but made me guess some from people character and behaviour. And the facts were not as presumed from the first book. I’m waiting for Tala’s conclusion of this series.
I received an ARC copy and I left my honest voluntary review
This is the second book in the trilogy and we jump right in from the last book and I couldn’t stop reading until I got to the end, which leaves you on the edge of your seat and screaming. The secret, betrayal, trauma. I really need the last book in the trilogy now, I hate waiting I need my resolution and HEA.

Luke and Adeline have plenty of trials ahead of them, as the war between their two packs heats up. Will this bad blood between their packs, stop them from been together? I enjoyed the continuation of Luke and Adeline's tale, although at times Luke was a bit frustrating and I felt for poor Adeline who is caught in a bad spot.

Luke and Addy are back but not all is as it should be! His pack will not accept Addy as her family were the enemy and this shows a darker side then what we are used to. It’s well written, action packed, there’s death, there’s aggression and then there’s the romance. The world building continues to pull you in and the story is suspenseful and has you on the edge of your seat at times and I look forward to seeing what the author does in book three.
I am very impressed with this second book in this series. Addy and Luke have so much to overcome and these things keep this story going wonderfully. This is great PNR, that had me blowing through the pages. I Loved It!!! No Spoilers!.

This is the second book in the Black Diamond Alpha series, continuing where the previous book left off. I found Luke to be very irksome for me in this book, but in the end he really made up for it. The story is fast paced and thrilling. There are several questions that I have and hope are answered in the next book.
This book is about love that is not acepted. Death and more with characters. Follow Adeline and Luke on their struggle. Why Does Luke not step up to his rule of Alpha? What will Adeline do accept the hate or fight back?.

I couldn't put it down! The chemistry between these two is explosive! So many times I wondered would this be it for Addy and Luke? What are they going to do? How can they get out of this mess? I am on pins and needles waiting for the next book!.
This book was something else it had me all angry, sad and cheering these two on. There is so much term oil that goes on between these characters it keeps on your toe hoping the outcome is good.

Whilst this was a quick and easy read and the storyline was ok I think the author got confused with some names. Whilst they were chasing down Addy- Noami turned into Cami and I had no idea who the hell that was since Jetta was there as well.
What an awesome story. Addy and Luke have such difficulties in their life. Will love prevail even though they had to get away from their families Strong characters that make the story.
What do you call an Alpha that doesn’t step up and fight for his love….a pansy. Unfortunately that is the tune of this book. With that being said this book does add to this story and shows a dark shifter world with death and hard decisions. It also shows the inner strength of the characters that can withstand the losses. The final book has a lot of work to bring these characters an HEA but this author spins a great tale and I can’t wait to see where it goes!
