I was about to greet our billionaire CEO for the first time, when I realized I already knew him - intimately. But I never got his name or number when we first “met” and I hadn’t seen him since.
When the elusive CEO came to visit, I was offered up as his new personal assistant by my boss. But there are worse things than being demoted to fetching coffee and picking up dry cleaning.
Like finding out he is the hot older man who made my body ache with passion for one epic night a year ago. Who then ditched me in the morning without a word.
He acted like nothing ever happened, and I hated him. But being so close made it impossible for me to fight my desire. And I had a feeling this serious, brooding boss struggled with each sultry look we shared.
Boss and assistant relationships invite risks that even he can’t escape.
We can endure suspicion and jealousy. But now there’s something I’m not sure we can…
Blackmail. Someone is threatening his career, and mine, if I tell him I’m pregnant.
Nora Michelle is a contemporary romance author who delights in bringing entertainment and escape to readers. She loves sharing stories about hot, grumpy, bossy men and sassy ladies, usually with an off-limits twist and a good hit of steam! You’ll see the tension mounting, and just when it looks like the romance is doomed, she’ll hit you up with a happily ever after to leave you feeling good.
She lives in Dallas with her loving hubby and two beautiful kiddies. When she’s not day-dreaming up some new and interesting scenario for a story, she’s desperately trying to keep on top of work and laundry, occasionally baking ridiculous cakes and treats for special people in her life. She’s partial to a good chardonnay and her guilty pleasure is watching really bad TV (like really, really bad...) when the rest of the household is in bed.

The only thing I could find issue with in this steamy contemporary romance is that I don’t agree with the title. The loving she had for her billionaire boss way outweighed any hating she had for him and who couldn’t love sweet, caring Mason even when he had to be a hard, strict boss to keep his businesses a success he did so in a fair way. I won’t spoil the story by saying who it might be but there is one person who might hate Mason but has no legitimate reason to do so except pure jealousy. With that minor issue addressed, and that is just my opinion because I can see how the title does relate, Nora Michelle has written an excellent billionaire, age gap romance that has a “go get them, reach your goals” Lana pursuing after her billionaire boss, Mason, who was a one night stand to her a year ago. Her ways of getting his attention back are definitely amusing. And Mason tries to resist temptation because he is her boss and that could cause complications (and will it?) but it takes one more scheme of Lana’s to ignite his possessiveness of her and he’s hooked for good or is he? What surprise is in store for them? This is a well written, HEA, stand alone with an adorable ending. Yeah, I liked this particular billionaire boss and I think you will too. I received an ARC of this book from the author and I am voluntarily submitting my honest review.
Mason and Lana reconnect one year after meeting the first time. Sparks gonna spark, but both get to know one another this time. They each like the other more as time passes, and the sparks don't want to stop.
The first three quarters of the book are fantastic, then we hit the plot twist that always turns my stomach. Not sure how we had no clue to prepare us for the baddie, but he deserves everything he gets and then some.
I enjoyed the tropes - billionaire boss (I mean what is not to love about Mason) age gap, surprise pregnancy... but the real issues of the HEA took a bit of air out of things for me. Still wonderful, but less might have been better in the finish.
I really enjoyed this book. Yes it had the age gap, and billionaire alpha, but it has SOOO much more. The story between Lana and Mason is so good. No one gives in right away, its got angst, but true emotions as well. A lot of people concentrate on the woman, but i really enjoyed the dive into Mason. He has a past, but i really enjoyed how it wasn't a dark past, and didn't require more story.
If you are looking for a hot, steamy, heartfelt romance between two people, here's your chance!! Its worth the read!
A Lana, tanto no começo como no fim, irritou-me. Mas é uma boa história de se ler, que dá vontade de sempre saber o que vai acontecer a seguir. O que odeio: o título. Não tem o menor sentido, dado que ela não odeia o chefe nem nada semelhante.
(EN) This book started out cliché, but it got good, until it got back to cliché. Sorry, but I can't take any more stories that they get involved, then he acts professionally (meaning he doesn't mention the fact that they got involved) and they sulk (it doesn't even count as a spoiler, it basically happens all the time). I loved the fact that it had 2 Povs, and that we could understand what was on both their minds. I loved Mason, I confess (I'm noticing that, more and more, I love male characters and not female ones). Lana, both at the beginning and at the end, pissed me off. But it's a good story to read, that makes you always want to know what will happen next. What I hate: the title. It doesn't make any sense, given that she doesn't hate her boss or anything like that.
This is the first book I’ve read by the author and I really liked it. The writing had an easy flow that kept me engaged reading it in one sitting. The dual pov was perfect because I loved reading Mason’s reactions and thoughts to the situations. He’s about 38 and Lana is mid-20s so there is the age gap mentioned in the title. I agree with other reviewers the title is misleading. There’s no “hating” of the boss. Additionally, although there’s an accidental pregnancy it’s not until the end so it’s not a hidden baby or have to get married type of related implied trope. It’s basically a one night stand, didn’t get names and a year later it’s discovered he’s her boss’s boss. Simple and a light read.
Nora Michelle has written a steamy millionaire romance with a HEA. She has well developed characters including a hero, heroine and villain. There are steamy scenes as the romance develops and the emergence of the villain is an unexpected twist. If you like romance where love and heroes win then you will enjoy this book.

I really enjoyed this story with Lana and Mason. How one night can turn into a fairytale happily ever after. I love Lana's spirit and determination, in her work and in taking care of the people that she loves. I love how Mason loves Lana, that he wants to give her everything and will do what he needs to do to protect her from a creeper.

Age gap billionaire romance with a accidental pregnancy
2nd book of Nora’s I had read and I can say I’m not disappointed, I like Nora writing style. Mason and Larna story is a delight to read I do think the the title is wrong Larna doesn’t hate her boss that much😁. Didn’t Like Andrew at all gave me a bad feeling from the start. I would recommend reading this for me a 4 ⭐️ review
This is a great story with strong characters, and interesting scenes.Lana and Mason had a one night stand a year imagine her surprise went she was told that she had to work with the C.E.O as his assistant while he is in the New York office who is the same one night guy.Things quickly heat up between them and Lana is pregnant.Would it be happy for these two or would Andrew ,Lana boss spoil it for the happy couple.
That was terrible. All of it beginning to end. Should have been a DNF, but I trekked it out and it still was horrible. At no point of the book did she ever hate her "billionaire boss," or even have an argument with him really. So even thr title makes no sense. Everything cliche was scrambled into this short 190 page read and it didn't work.
If any of this stuff happened in real life, the blank would hit the fan big time. I think they needed more time to get to know each other before she decided to move. It seemed to be more of an escape than love.
I think I've been reading too much dark romance because this was vanilla as hell as far as spice goes. There were a lot of cliché tropes, too. Idk, this might be great for someone who isn't me, but it's a no from me, dog.
I liked this, but the title she has it under doesn't really apply. She gets annoyed at most, but nothing to what I'd consider hate. In all and all this is a sweet sexy romance with drama involved.
A one night stand. How could you know that he is the owner of the company you work for. A year later he's in your office and your boss has grown loan you to him.
Trying to make a company come out of the red is difficult. Wanting a woman that you met a year a go with the company policy prohibits management in a relationship with a non manager. This was his life.
