What I really liked was that after the book’s tension filled climax, it took the time to show the consequences of the decisions of the characters. We don’t all live happily ever after, but one step at a time.

Jack’s wife, Gloriann walks away from her two older children (Emma and Will) and takes baby, Martin with her. This book begins with an impossible situation and flies into even more untenable circumstances. A story that will make your head spin and cause you to shudder as Jack searches for his wife and baby while the older children deal with their mother’s betrayal.
