The Best Blackout Book So Far!
In my humble opinion, each new SEAL Team Blackout story is better than the last, and Book 7, “Final Target,” is no different. I was absolutely glued to my Kindle as I read Em Petrova’s latest military romance. I knew Mustang’s story would be amazing, but I wasn’t prepared for this suspenseful and sexy second-chance romance. Crew has an edge to him that’s as fierce as his heart, and that growly protector just does it for me! Teigen is smart and beautiful, and I find it touching that her protective streak for her big, bad SEAL is as strong as his is for her. Petrova manages to bring the raw physical chemistry between the Spences and swirl it all up with some vulnerable, emotional moments as well. Honestly, the BEST Em Petrova book I’ve read to date (and I’ve read a lot of ‘em!). SO. MANY. STARS!

The conclusion we've been waiting for! There were quite a few struggles during this final portion of the story of tracking down Abubakar and his nasty terrorist buddies and there were quite a few hot, sexy scenes between Teigen and Crew! Without giving away too many details, critical intelligence about the mission was gathered at great personal expense by one of the characters and Teigen played a very important part in translating that material and some other information during the final showdown. I will say that I was disappointed to not get more details about the final scene of Abubakar's demise after reading all of the other books in this series where he was the long-sought target. But I will get over it!!.

Teigan surprises them all
Mustang completely lives up to his name in this book...very wild and slightly crazy, bordering on untameable. He is lost until he gets Teigen in his arms again, but he finds her in the last place ever expected and she has more secrets than he does as a walking dead man. Team Blackout face their biggest challenge here, there are times it looks very dicey for the whole team....but Teigen is not the only surprise for the team, guess who sends them a lifeline that saves them!

This was a 2nd chance military romantic suspense.
Yes! This is the best way to end the series. The story is a fast paced action filled romp through the emotional landmine of a broken marriage. It has all the feels as well as heart pounding suspense. Highly recommend!!!!
Teigen Spence is a multilingual codebreaker. She has not told her husband what her job entails including traveling to hit spots to exchange data.
Crew Mustang Spence is a Navy SEAL on Team Blackout. He was recruited even though he was married but was not allowed to tell his wife. His wife recently left him and he is devastated. He has been acting more reckless than usual.
Teigen is in Egypt for a data exchange when she is kidnapped from the marketplace by terrorists and taken to a secret bunker to be interrogated. Team Blackout is sent in to rescue the codebreaker, but they don't know what she looks like or her name. Mustang finds her cell in the bunker and rescues her only to have her insist on taking the female scientist in the next cell with them. Mustang gets captured and tortured for several days before both Blackout teams can rescue him, free the rest of the prisoners and detain the terrorists. They head out to a safe house where Tiegen catches the scientist on the phone with the terrorists. They scramble to leave the country but the terrorists bomb the airport. The scientist managed to get a coded missive to Tiegen which sets the team racing back to the States to try to stop a terrorist plot bigger than 9/11. Meanwhile Crew is determined to sleep his wife and get a second chance. Tiegen originally left him so he wouldn't be affected by her job but realizes she still lives him. They manage to save the country, get the bad guy and get their HEA.

“Final Target” is the newest book in the ‘SEAL Team Blackout’ series by Em Petrova, and it’s a great addition to this exciting sequence of stories. It’s written so you can enjoy it as a standalone, but I think you’ll get more out of it if you’re somewhat familiar with the series. Be warned that if you haven’t read any of the others, by the time you finish this one, you’ll be getting your hands on more because it’s so entertaining.
Crew, known to his teammates as Mustang, has been wilder than usual because his wife left him not long ago. His wife, Teigen, is a brilliant woman who works for the government. Although Crew thinks she’s a translator, the truth is that she’s way more than that. Crew has been suffering tremendous guilt because he knows the subterfuge and dishonesty about his work led to the destruction of their marriage, but it turns out that Teigen has been equally dishonest and guilty of subterfuge. When he and his team discover that the woman they were called to Egypt to save is someone they never expected it to be, the usual chaos is magnified many times over. I kept turning pages because I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next.
I don’t want to give too much away and ruin the story for you, because it’s such a good one. Crew and Teigen are strong characters, and the chemistry between them is blistering hot. The secondary characters are great and add a lot to the story. Some of the scenes are particularly suspenseful, which I enjoyed. The story of Crew (Mustang) and Teigen (his wife) along with the entire team of terrorist fighters. This is a book that that keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time. Married to each other but too many secrets between them. Teigen decides to end the marriage but Mustang cannot get over her. He wants her and still wants to make it work. In her work for the Government she gets captured by the terrorists and only then does Mustang find out who she is and what she does. The rescue begins. This book keeps you on the edge as to whether they will be able to unite and go forward in life and love. Has too much time elapsed? This is a total adrenalin pumping read that has the team searching for Teigen and the terrorists. You find yourself emersed in total spy tinged activities that still leave time for Mustang and Teigen to get together the odd time. This book is riveting, sexy and pulsing with energy. It has a clever mix of seduction, heat and hot romance - a steamy action packed walk on the wild side that makes you wonder whether good will prevail and if the Team will ever be able to catch the terrorist who they have been hunting for years. A surprise addition to the Team aids them in their mission. This book has great heart, body and soul with wonderful characters thrown in. A book that is rough and gentle all at once - truly a great book to read and a great addition to the series with sex scenes thrown in. Blackout Team Alpha continues to worry about Mustang (Crew Spencer), since his wife left telling him their marriage was over, and she asked for a divorce. Sparrow had made him set one mission out for his actions, and the whole team was watching for him to mess up. They got a call to rescue a CIA decoder in Egypt that Abubakar the terrorist had captured. The only information on the prisoner was, they would be going after a . The team was given no name or picture only a code word. Imagine their surprise when they get there to discover the woman, they were there to save turned out to be Mustang's wife, Teigen. Crew gets to her first and following orders tries to extract her from the building, but she refuses to go without him getting the scientist in the next cell to her. He got the scientist out at the cost of his own capture. Blackout Team Charlie had to then be called in to extract Mustang and the rest of the prisoners. All this gets them closer to catching Abubakar. Especially, having Teigen with them to decode any correspondence, they have happened to intercepted belonging to Abubakar. Looks like his terrorist reign might be coming to an end soon. Crew and Teigen will be having a long awaited talk about their marriage, and her working with Blackout. A very intense, highly action packed, plenty of suspense, and super sexy read with lots of chemistry between Crew and Teigen. They seemed like a perfect match for each other. I highly recommend this book.

I love reading Em Petrova’s SEAL Team Blackout series. Each book has so much going on to grab your attention and keep you hooked until the last sentence.
Crew/Mustang is about to come out of his skin with pent up stress over his wife’s decision months ago to end their short message. He’s work out twice a day to the point of exhaustion while his team is enjoying some unexpected down time from chasing terrorists. Em’s writing makes Crew’s emotions practically palpable to the reader.
Teigan is on a secret mission to pick up a coded drive when she’s captured in an Egyptian market. Her fear over her capture and torture has her experiencing mixed feelings over ending her marriage which are powerful and poignant.
I loved this pair of characters, both are intense, talented and dedicated people - true equals in their marriage and jobs. The suspense is intense throughout the story as twists and turns kept drawing me into the mission and the developments between Crew & Teigan. The suspense is balanced with hot and steamy scenes between the reunited couple - melt your kindle spicy.
Teigan is definitely an amazing addition to the Blackout family as her skills are eye-popping and definitely needed. While Crew and Teigan have a happy ending, the overall storyline isn’t completely wrapped up yet which means we get another book in the series.

Wow! This was another fantastic addition to this amazing military suspense series! All the books in the Seal Team Blackout series contain a happily ever after and can be read as a standalone. However, reading it in order will give you a better appreciation for the characters and the overall series storyline. I can’t wait to read Apollo’s story!

Whenever I see a new Blackout release by author Em Petrova, I do a little happy dance. I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!!! Mustang and Teigan's story definitely did not disappoint.
Secrets. Every married couple keeps a few secrets from one another. Mustang and Teigan, however, revolved their entire marriage around keeping secrets from one another. At the core, they love one another fiercely. Is that enough though to overcome discovering that what they thought to be truth about each other was really lies? When Tiegen gets captured and kidnapped during an operation, Blackout is sent in to rescue a unknown female who does by the code word "wasabi". When Mustang realizes that this woman is actually his wife, the delicately balanced house of cards built with their lies comes to light. Can their love survive the truth?
"Final Target" is a fast paced, action packed slide down the rabbit hole. You simply will not be able to put this book down! It's purely intoxicating!!!
A side note--- I can't wait to read the story of the person who showed up near the end of the book. That should be an intriguing story to read!.

Final Target is book seven of the SEAL Blackout series. This is “Mustang’s“ story. Mustang aka Crew has been off his game ever since Tiegen, Mustangs wife told him she wanted out of their marriage without really giving him any real reasons why. Mustang and Tiegen both are working and carrying secrets they can’t tell the other, jobs that neither one know much about the other, at times keep them separated for months at a time. Crew and the team are sent on a mission to rescue a CIA Codebreaker agent; the team gets to the woman and rescue’s her and Mustang discovers she is none other than his wife Tiegen that he hasn’t seen for months, he doesn’t get a lot of info out of her other than she wanted out of their marriage to protect him! From this point on you will be on the edge of your chair turning pages as quickly as you can devour the words. Ms. Petrova absolutely knows how to write an enticing story with just the right amount of drama, emotion, suspense and action to grab ahold and not let go until you see that last page. Crew Spence, Mustang, is miserable and lost at sea after his wife ended what he thought was a happy mariage. The 9nce confident, controlled, highly skilled operator has become hot headed, defiant and off the rails. Much to his and his team's detriment. As you can well imagine he is in utter shock when his team is sent to rescue a CIA code breaker who turns out to be his estranged wife. Tiegen Spence was happy being a translator when suddenly she's thrust into the world of intrigue and spy games. How could she explain that to Crew? Being captured and tortured was not what she signed up for. No one was more surprised than her when Crew's Blackout Team are her rescuers. The rescue was not completely successful and had complications. Once resolved the Team is stuck in Egypt because of a Abubakar's brother's funeral. Tiegen comes up with critical information because of her skills that lead them all back to DC. Crew and Tiegen reconnect on a physical level but things are too critical for them to really talk and clear the air. Where do they go from here?

We watched Mustang become part of the team and we got glimpses into his life. Always a tease and never enough to get a feel for the man. His story puts it all out there and what a surprise it was.
Mustang came to the team full of spunk with a wife in the wings. It was an anomaly on why he was allowed attachments when no one else was. While on a mission Teigen tells Mustang things are over and can’t be reached. While Mustang was gone, she got involved with government entity. The only team who can save her is Blackout.
While rescuing Teigen and trying to save the world Mustang will learn who his wife has become and fight with everything he has to win her back. An amazing installment to the Blackout series. This one surprised me in that I found myself just as invested in Mustang and everyone else on the team.

This is another fast paced suspenseful read in this wonderful series and we are getting close to the end of the series and things are starting to come together. Ever since we met Crew (Mustang) Spence there has been questions about why he was allowed to join Team Blackout when he had a wife and that she wasn't told that he was dead like the rest of the team now we find the reason why. As a brilliant codebreaker she has also been recruited but instead of working safely at home breaking codes she has been placed in danger and is now a captive. Imagine Mustangs horror when he discovers the woman they have been sent to rescue is the wife that walked away from him. Can he forgive her when he learns her reasoning and can they survive long enough to maybe forge a future All while the team still tries to bring Abubakar with Teigen maybe being the break that they need. Can't wait to find out Apollo's story

A suspenseful second chance romance brings Crew face to face with the wife he thought had turned her back on him. With his team concerned about his head being in the right place when going out on ops, they are watching him carefully, especially as he appears to have little care about whether he lives or dies. Going to the rescue of an unknown operative, Crew cannot believe it when he comes face to face with the only woman he has ever loved and who has rejected him. The big question is whether or not he can trust her. Teigen regrets every day that she has lived apart from Crew, but when he is taken hostage as a result of her rescue, she knows that she does not want to live another day without him. The novel is highly suspenseful and also has an extreme heat level, but it does come to a very successful conclusion. I received a copy of this exciting novel as a gift through BookSprout as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

I almost forgot about this series because the author hadn't posted another ARC online, so this book was quite a surprise for me. Still, it reminded me how much I had loved the previous one with the incredibly hot cover (Wicked Instinct), and this book was no different.
From the hot cover to the chemistry between Crew and Teigen, everything was great. I loved the snappy banter between the men, the relationship dynamic between the two main characters, and the little cameos of the women from the previous books. Also, Lena continues to be a badass.
My favourite line from the book:
“Where are you going?” she asked.
“To debrief Teigen.” He directed his gaze to Teigen’s. A hungry look passed between them.
Lena pitched her voice to a murmur. “And when you say ‘debrief,’ you mean asking her questions…or taking off her panties?”

Whenever a new member joined SEAL team Blackout, they gave up their former life, family and friends and literally became a dead man walking. Blackout became their new family. When Mustang joined the group, he was already married. Nobody could figure out how that was allowed. When Crew’s wife tells him she wants out of the marriage, he starts doing crazy things and his team tried to reel him back in. Luckily they are assigned a new mission to rescue a code breaker kidnapped in Egypt. She was the only one they were to rescue and to use the safe word, wasabi. When Mustang found the woman, to his surprise it was his wife. An exciting and fast paced storyline that is filled with danger, suspense and of course steamy chemistry between Crew and his wife. The characters are great, as well as all the secondary men and women too. I love this series.

Final Target by EM Petrova is gripping to the max! The twists and turns kept me pinned to the pages.
Crew Spence, aka, Mustang, is a Seal Team Blackout soldier. His wife, Teigen Spence, is a code breaker for the CIA. It’s a rocky road for the couple. Both have secrets neither are aware of until Crew gets called out on a mission. Then all their secrets are exposed.
Final Target is jam-packed with action, danger, and very steamy romantic scenes. Five out of five on the spice meter. The plot and characters are extremely well developed. The action scenes lit up my senses and played like a movie in my mind. I was on the edge of my seat, hoping my favorite characters didn’t die. If you read the other books in the Seal Team Blackout series, you will be surprised who materializes in this one (spoiler alert, so I can’t tell). I totally enjoyed the novel. Five stars.

Crew and Teigen
I’ve been waiting for this one and it didn’t disappoint. We knew from past books something was going on with Mustang, aka Crew. We find out his wife, Teigen, left him and he’s not happy. The team is called upon to find and rescue a code breaker for the CIA who was kidnapped from Egypt. There are no pictures of her but her safe word is Wasabi. That’s his wife’s safe word too. Teigen has been tortured but is holding on dreaming of her ex husband. Both are surprised when Crew/Mustang rescues his wife. He’s determined to hang onto her if they can get out of the compound safely. But we know things aren’t over because there’s a lot of book left. This book if action packed, suspenseful, super steamy and did I mention suspenseful…it deserves to have that mentioned twice. The nasty terrorist is back and a dead man walking. I loved this one and couldn’t put it down.

I really enjoyed reading this story . It's well written and action packed . This is Seal Team Blackout book seven . Crew Spence is known as Mustang to his team . He's devastated that his wife is calling it quits on their marriage . He is starting to get reckless whe on missions . Crew is shocked to find the Spy they are sent to rescue from a terrorist group is none other than his wife Teigen Spence . As the rescue goes bad Crew is captured . It's up to Blackout to rescue him . As they work to rescue him they find the terrorist's have bigger plans than anyone realized . They must stop the Terrorists so they all can get live their lives . This story is a sensational suspense romance . I highly recommend taking the time to read .

Having a few secrets of her own, codebreaker and spy Tiegen Spence was captured in Egypt while she was on a mission to collect data. Her ex-husband Crew (Mustang) and his Blackout team rescues her along with a captured scientist she befriended while being held. Not knowing she was their mission was only the beginning, they also realized the value of the information Tiegen was able to provide for a very important mission for the team. This is an exciting action packed suspense filled military story with danger,terrorists and second chances for Mustang an Teigan. This story will pull you in and keep you on the edge of your seats.The characters are captivating. Crew/Mustang is having a hard time his wife told him they were through no answers as to why .All he knew is if he didn't get her back his life meant nothing to him.He was working out twice a day pushing himself beyond what he should an was being reckless about his life on missions.When his CO told him to either get it together or he was off the team he couldn't let him get his team killed because he didn't care about himself. There are so many twists an turns to this story you will be riveted until the very last page .I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.

Crew chasing the worst terrorists around the world and Teigen doing fieldwork as a CIA decoder.
Crew doesn't know that the woman he has to save is his wife.
Both realize that life without the other is impossible, but how do they keep each other safe and how do they regain their trust in each other?

This is book seven in SEAL Team Blackout series and wraps up the secondary story arc that has been in play since book one. You can read this book as a standalone but honestly I think this series is best enjoyed in order. This is Mustang and his wife Teigen's story. The team has wondered why Mustang was allowed to join Blackout and not have to break ties with his wife. Everyone on the team is dead to the world having to break ties with their family and loved ones but not Mustang but he's spent the last few months trying to figure out why Teigen Ieft him. These two are hot together but do they have too many secrets they're keeping from each other? Can't wait to read Charlie teams stories.

I really enjoyed this story because it had a great story and great characters. The heat between Crew and Teigen was smoking hot. There were twist and turns I wasn't expecting but made the story even better. If you are looking for a bit of romance tied in with a military mission, the I highly recommend this book.
Crew is trying to get over Teigen because she wants to end their marriage. He is having trouble accepting it and his team mates in Blackout notice. On their next mission, it just happens to be rescuing Teigen from terrorists. Things get even more crazy after that and in the middle of it all, Teigen and Crew are trying to figure out where they stand.
