Blue Flames
With the chaos of her escape from Hell and loss of a mate, Ember attempts to focus on her pack. More is coming for them with Alpha Gale keeping secrets and Greed building an army. It’s only a matter of time before she must return to claim her place as princess of Hell and train as a hellhound. I posted my review for book 1, Black Flames nearly a year ago, an agonising year anticipating this book and Holy Moly am I glad it's finally here!
You want imps? Got them! You want shifters? Got them! You want demons? Got them! You want vampires? Got them? Lucifer's offspring? Absolutely got it! Romance? Yep! You want magic? You've got it in abundance!!!! You have it all, even Angels, in this very exciting read!
I really love how "ordinary" hell is, I mean, a cup of tea anyone? Yes, this hell has tea, coffee and all the culinary delights of the human world and even electricity! Cool right? And the nicest people or beings reside there, like Vixie, although not all are as nice...there are those who seek power at any cost. We all need a good villain or two to clean out our palettes. I enjoyed Vixie's character, her exuberance spills over as does her niceness, she's really likeable
Just as Ember is coming to terms with who and what she is on Earth and is trying to stop a power hungry Alpha from his evil deeds, she once again has to go to hell. As if Ember ever has it easy! She's settling in well, learning the ropes, getting comfortable and then wham! What was really awesome was how Ember's powers grow, to be a witness to the expansion of them is terrific reading, leaving a small tag in my brain wondering what else she'll be capable of! Her journey was my journey, loved going through it with her. I let out a huge sigh of relief that all her hunky mates are accounted for and stand by her no matter what. Lovely steamy scenes are very appropriately added.
Another great read by Ms Dale, twisting and turning the plot, with characters I love, characters who have their work cut out for them, not only do they battle in hell but Earth as well, with amazing action taking place whichever world they're in. Highly descriptive and surreal, I was transported from one world to the next as if I had gone through the portals. Magical!

Even better than Book 1 Black Flames! I was totally immersed in the story from page one! There is nonstop action, battles, danger, magic and, of course, the heat! Whew!
The author takes us through portals between Earth and Hell in a blink of an eye. The descriptions bring the worlds to life before your eyes. (And I just can't get over this description of Hell...who'd of thought!). And this version of Lucifer? Brilliant!
Love Embers mates and her cast of friends. Can't wait to see what is up for them next!

What an amazing story. Ember finds who she really is There’s twists and turns to make you wonder what will happen next. All kinds of characters, vampires, shifters and more. There’s no stopping until you binge read to the end.

Solid followup to Book One. Like so many second books it's not quite a satisfying ending but the assumption is you're headed to book 3. Sexy, innovative and one of a kind.
