Our persecuted Christian family members follow the Lord with a bold and costly faith. They joyfully face oppression, imprisonment and even death because Christ is worthy. In "At Any Cost", you will see scenes of majesty and beauty in places where our brothers and sisters are advancing God's eternal kingdom on some of the most difficult and dangerous mission fields on earth. May this visual journey inspire you to grow in fellowship with them and to deepen your commitment to Christ and His Great Commission.
Beautifully and respectfully done, with gorgeous photographs from the various landscapes across the world where people are currently being persecuted for faith in Jesus. I also loved the colorful photographs of the cultural attire of people in these areas.
I was dubious about a book on martyrdom being beautiful enough for a coffee-table type book. I was wrong. The pictures in this book were not at all gory, but were stunning photographs worthy of contemplation.
The scripture verses in these pages were appropriate and stirring. The quotes from the various people interviewed, with their stories, was also challenging & convicting. It's been a couple of weeks (?) since I finished it, so I won't remember them all, just the feeling that they inspired.
I would give this book the highest honor for a book. Not only would I reread it, but I would give it as a gift to others.
