No number 3
This is not good enough to drag on for a 3rd book. He too weak and the bad guy aka the woman is getting away with too much stuff and moving too freely in and out of they houses and lives. Where is she getting money to do all this stuff for 10 years? I made myself read the 2nd book I'm not fooling with the 3rd. The writing not that good.

WOW…be prepared this gets dark & dangerous
Book 2 picks up where we left off and their world is exploding all around them and no one is safe! Aleksey is trying to keep Elia and their baby safe but every-time he thinks he’s has some insight into who is targeting them more and more is making less sense then before. People are dying and being killed yet the game that is being played is still no closer to being solved! Alya is scared for her life and her brothers and she is a pawn in this wicked game & it’s destroying Aleksey because he doesn’t want to lose anyone else. Mikhail is trying to be the best man for his Pakhan but they always seem to be one step behind & they are losing this war.
Elia is trying to help her husband but the darkness is all around them and now her father’s men are trying to rescue her even though she doesn’t need it. Lana is determined to destroy everything Elia loves and she has no one she can trust.
There is a huge cliffhanger and their epic conclusion is in the next book. This is an intense and very dark journey so be prepared. Happy Reading!!

Spellbinding
The plot thickens both Aleksey and Elia are surrounded by a plot that is being orchestrated by a very vengeful woman whom he once loved. She has influenced everything that has happened in the last 10 years and set in motion the Korolev and Talallo bratvas against each other. Everything is leading up to her destroying everything that Aleksey holds dear and she wants the child Elia is carrying then she will disfigure and eventually kill Elia. Svetlana's life and looks were ruined 10 years ago by Aleksey's father she has killed him but won't be satisfied until everyone in the Korolev Bratva is gone and then to finally kill Aleksey. The next and last book in the series should be mind blowing.

Convoluted
Wordy at times instead of getting to the point. Isn't hard to figure out who the villain is but takes characters an inordinate time and has to be Elia who figures it out. Aleksy isn't too sharp as a pakhan. Makes stupid, impulsive decisions which gets others hurt or dead. Unbelievable at times with people just showing up to do evil deeds in a penthouse tall as the Sears tower. Storyline about reason men want to take Elia away from her husband is stupid since she has never had any contact or dealings with them. Even best friend Lana doesn't make sense. Story is more a maze than a mystery.

Book 2 picks up f/book1. Aleksey is struggling w/events f/his past, which is keeping him f/fully trusting Elia & committing himself to his marriage. Elia is dealing w/her fathers death- another at the hands of her husband’s. They are both trying to heal, but they have many threats hanging over their heads, & that past has come back to seek revenge. And no one is safe. As bodies pile up, we get some questions answered, but secrets are still being kept. And another cliffhanger that has me diving straight into book 3!!

Omgggg, this is great!
There’s SO much tension and you don’t know who you can fully trust. Every time I’m certain about a character helping the Bogatyr, I’m proven wrong. Although, I’m still a little suspicious of Boris. 👀
One of the deaths made me unexpectedly sad. I wasn’t prepared for that one.
Also, FUCK Lana. Like to the highest fuckery level you can take it. I will never forgive her. I don’t care what she does in the next book. ✋🏻 I hope she gets her ass handed to her to be honest.

The past catches up
There is so much deceit and anger going on in their lives. The bratva is having a lot of problems with other families. But it's not just the other family it Svetlana and ex which everyone thought was dead. Alaska's father thought she was dead. He thought that his men had a killed her by the beatings and the multiple rapes and abuse but she survived. She planned for ten years for vengeance and tos kill all the family. One by on she killed in the family. But we don't know if she kills everyone.

Awesome thriller
Alexey and Elia’s arranged marriage turned out great as they have fallen in love to each other but there are forces against them that they have to overcome. I can’t wait to read the conclusion to this beautiful story. It’s as thrilling and suspenseful as they come.

Elia and Alecksey
Sveltlana is horrible. I am sorry for what she went through but she needs to let it go. But how can she. It was inhumane what happened to her. I believe Alecksey did nothing to stop it. I want her to change and he help her. That is the saddest part of this whole story. I am ready for book 3

She was right
Not realizing how intuitive she was, Elia became Aleksey sounding board during the actions that was going on around them. But by the time he realized Elia was on target what she figured out, it was too late.
The revenge against him and anyone he cared about was well under way.
The book was well written. There's a lot of action in this book.

Still didnt feel the connection between the main couple. And wow... everything that could go wrong for them goes wrong. The lack of trust between everyone was confusing at first but cleared up in this book.

WOW! Picks up well from book 1. I'm really enjoying Brook's Mafia/Bratva style of writing.
Still a very fiery Elia, and Aleksey is still just as hot and domineering! This partnership has its ups and downs, but hopefully love will prevail in book 3!
